Man I’ve really enjoyed listening to the Dune series, the audiobooks are pretty good but now that I’m halfway through Children of Dune, I kinda want to break it up a bit, listen to something new. Boy, Louis must be one hell of an unreliable narrator in iwtv (book) bc I swear I just listen to 70 chapters worth of him talking about Lestat like he’s the dullest person in the world and that Louis never really cared for him but like,,

I’ve watched the show. There is no way in hell Sam Reid and the writer did that much of a 180 on the character to make him that charismatic. There’s no way Rice ended up writing at least 3 books about the guy without Louis leaving out so much detail

I imagine people who read the book in the 70s must have seen the vamp Lestat come out and been so confused, like you mean the crying garbage man who can’t handle money? He’s the main character?

Y’all ever think about how crazy Voltron was sometimes? Like, have we ever truely acknowledged that in s7 the show introduced another set of pilots to absolutely takeover from the paladins in s8 but everyone collectively agreed ‘no they’re not’ and low and behold, no they did not. Like there is no other reason for the show to introduce the MFE pilots as a group of five to just, what, mirror the paladins? Act as foils to them in season 7?? I like that they exist but I have no clue why

Late to the party, idk, but I think one of the reasons why season 3a feels so off is that it is so cramped with b and c plots (which I don’t mind, that’s how the show works) but none of those plots are leading up to next season

Like, in season 1 we had Anthony and the singer’s plot line and then ofc polin has been so over shadowed from both season 1 & 2 but like, is it going to be Benedict’s season next? I don’t think the writers even know what their doing with them so no. Maybe it’ll be Eloise? Except I think it would make so much more sense if she starts getting letters from Phillip during the season before hers so no, not her.

Honestly the only other sibling they’ve set up for their season is Francesca and if you know what happens in her book then we kinda need a couple of seasons between her marriage and her season.
