Reading things like this makes me remember how much joy I had when I first moved out with my then fiance. We had nothing but dreams to our names. It was the happiest time of my life, before all the money and material things even existed.

The Gift of Love

The fact that God gave us the ability to love is an act of love in itself.

The love of siblings is heartwarming.

A mother's love is unbreakable.

Love between a couple is beautiful.

Friends bear a love that lasts a lifetime.

These all help make life worth living and were all planned out by our loving creator.

Basic manners are such a lost art. When I was a teenager and my grandmother was teaching me I brushed her off, but I am so grateful that she did now that I'm mature enough to see the value in those lessons.

If you stay at a party or event until the end when it's time to clean up, offer to help your host with cleaning up.

If someone was gracious enough to host a party or event for you and your fellow party-goers, especially in their own home, the least you can do is your part to help with cleaning up at the end. It can be pretty daunting to clean up a party by yourself, especially if you're already tired from hosting the party or event itself for the past few hours.

And, if you're a good guest who helps with cleaning up, earning your reputation as a good guest means you're more likely to be invited back to parties and events in the future.

Entering a new season in my life that I'm actually excited about is a much needed change. Thank God.

I thought I had to be on the pro-life side of things to be a Christian. I'm starting to think that the lawmen aren't actually looking out for women's or children's best interests. If God gave me free will, why would I want a man I don't even know dictating what I can and can't do?

I'm not saying I would get an abortion frivolously, but if both I and the child are going to die anyway I'd want a doctor that could save a life without being sued or prosecuted. There are stories about doctors waiting too long and women losing their reproductive ability all together.

So to the lawmen the best option is to take the chance that a woman who wanted a baby could lose that ability in order to force women who don't want a baby to have them.

I just cannot see how supporting abortion bans is a Christian thing to do. Forcing women to do anything will not make them follow Christ or believe in God. If it isn't going to save their souls, what does it really matter? I would never tell another woman to abort her baby, but it really is not my business what everyone else is doing. I have enough on my plate with trying to fix myself and making sure I'm doing what God has called me to do.

I'm just so glad that everyone else is perfect, seeing as they have so much time to judge or condemn everything that they see others do. I remember reading about another group of people who cared more about the laws of man than truly following God's word. The Pharisees weren't spoken to so favorably by Jesus.

Hobby Talk

I got back into playing Stardew Valley recently. I wanted to wait long after the last major update to play again so all the mods could be up to date. I love all the new things that I have discovered in the game. I avoided reading any development logs, so I had no clue what to expect loading it back up again. I'm probably gonna be hooked on this game for a month or so until something else catches my attention.

I love jumping from one interest to the next. It gives life a peaceful type of change and variety. While I'll be on my PC every day for the foreseeable future, it will be collecting dust when I find a new puzzle I want to put together, glue, and hang up. As always I thank God that I have been blessed to have the time to spend on frivolous things and enjoy life.
