Thought of the day: Polytrix as the Gotham City Sirens.

Zoey, of course, being Harley Quinn. Because she's a tiny ball of energy who's as sweet and adorable as she is dangerous and lethal. ADHD-coded, always on the move and always afraid of being too much and not enough. Her mind is pure chaotic genius to those who can understand it, offering more insight than untrained eyes would think possible because she's easily understimated. Also, she will lay her life on the line for any cause she deems worthy, a fact both Mira and Rumi are as in awe as they are worried about.

Mira as Poison Ivy. Cool and collected, aloof-looking while still being the most caring person you'll ever meet. While trying to remain detatched and closed-off, she has too big of a heart for it and is just so weak for Zoey's earnest love. Also, if there's someone here who would let the world burn just so her girls can be happy, that's Mira. Rest of the world can fuck right off, she only cares about these two people but cares about them with her whole soul.

And of course, Rumi as Catwoman. Sexy, cool as royalty, but complicated. Emotionally unaviable Is certainly a good descriptor for both of them. Can be annoyingly hard to pin down and will spend so much time and energy running away from her feelings, will lash out and hurt you against her own wishes but deep down you just know that she cares. Getting her to trust Is literally like trying to coax an injured stray cat into your arms, but it is oh-so worthy once you hear it purr at you for the first time.

ZoeMira headcanon that since Mira is all ways in her head she realizes that what she felt for Zoey was more than friendship and always kinda in the back of her mind like “wow she’s everything I’ve ever wanted but I don’t deserve her” so she sits with those feelings and emotions because even though she’s aware of them, if she voices them they will be real and what if Zoey didn’t feel the same way??? What if she loses her family again because of her feelings??? So no. The only option is to acknowledge the emotions but accept that Zoey can’t reciprocate and be happy with however the other girl would have her

And then there’s Zoey who never really had people in her corner or friends she could just exist and be her full self with so she doesn’t understand that “wow doesn’t everyone just wanna kiss all their friends ahaha my friends are soooooo pretty :D” and she just keeps like wanting more and craving more but also being afraid she’ll be asking too much and just doesn’t want to be too much for the only person/people who have accepted her

Ya anyway, Zoey doesn’t realize for awhile until it hits her like a truck and she freaks out, panics and then stumbles out with a confession not long after she realizes because ‘how can she just pretend nothings happened?!?!’ And Mira is so confused about Zoey just randomly seemingly out of nowhere being like “IM IN LOVE WITH YOU!!!” and Mira has to process because she had already resigned herself to just friendship and now she didn’t actually think they would happen

Anyway, they get together soon after and this is all pre-movie so they then realize later down the line that they need to get Rumi with them as well but also know that she’s holding a secret herself and so they wait and also give her space to come to them =}

Anywaaaay I just had ideas about Mida staring lovingly at Zoey and just being like: wow, she could never live me the way I want her

And Zoey’s like: it’s totally normal to want to scissor your friends right? Aha

Consider:

Zoey growing up with mild spending anxiety and struggling to buy herself little trinkets and toys even now that she has the money. Getting around this by seeing a stuffed animal in the store, looking at one of her born-to-riches girlfriends, and saying “please?”. Because it doesn’t count as buying stupid stuff for herself if they get it, and it doesn’t count as making someone else spend money on her because they share a bank account. And they like to spoil her so it all works out. But Mira likes to tease her and say “only if you’re good” and then get it on the way out.

New AU idea: Gwi-Ma takes a human host when he crosses over to the human world through possession.

Who's body, you ask?

It's Bobby. You can see him slowly falling to the Saja Boys enchantment all the way through the movie. And while I guess this was just to foreshadow everyone getting brainwashed by Gwi-Ma for the last arc, I've always felt like there was a little too much focus on Bobby with it.

Like, Mira and Zoey also start hearing Gwi-Ma at the end, and they were way less influenced by that point... So I just feel all the focus on Bobby in those scenes could've been used for a bigger purpose than just foreshadowing.
