Numerous evenings have been spent strolling in this open space. From running from a beating from friends to having deep conversations over the call to walking after the dinner because "aaj jada kha lia yaar", this one place has been constant. I've loved this view for months..in the darkness offered by this place, I could sob my heart out with no one knowing. In the calmness of this view, I could sooth my raging emotions. If I could, I would go back to all the evenings I spent here..with my seniors & juniors 🥺 Nostalgia sometimes does hit hard! What are your favourite memories of your college life? Rains have always been my favourite. Nature in itself is very fascinating to me. I've always learnt lessons of life from the nature. One thing I learnt, that I evidently believe and practice, rains wash away the things that are old, unnecessary & irrelevant. I keep a tight hold on the experiences and lessons but let go of the memories, people & places that no longer help me grow. That's how I grow my individual self. How do you grow? What is your technique? Tell me in the comments below. #nature #lessonsofnature #naturemotivation #letitgo #moveon #lifeisajourney #loveyourlife #lovelife #afterrainshot #postrain #infrontofmyhome #theinstinctivewoman #happylife (at IOCL, Panipat refinery, Panipat) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDEdthigiaq/?igshid=3in0fh395dvu

We all remember the waterfall from Baahubali right? It was such a long way up for Prabhas. I real life, this is where it was shot! At Athirappilly Waterfalls. By the grace of my college tour, I had the privilege to visit it back in 2017. In the midst of serene mountains & a cool breeze flowing, the sun was shining bright. My thoughts at the waterfall were no different from a fascinated child who is given a chu-chu toy for the first time. It was an overwhelming experience. Being able to stand in the middle of the river (since water levels were really low) and enjoy the water gushing past me was once in a blue moon kind of occurrence. With a break from the monotony of every day schedule & a fun time with the college friends, I loved visiting this place. And to garnish the cake of traveling with a cherry, nature has always been my go to of all times. @keralatourism @keralatourism @keralatourism What are your go-to places in times of stress? #athirappilly #athirappillywaterfalls #kerala #keralatourism #keralagram #keraladiaries #keralaphotography #amateurphotographer #amateurphotography #photographylovers #picoftheday #pictogram #pictureoftheday #naturelove #theinstinctivewoman #instadaily #baahubali #baahubalishoot #baahubalishootingspot😜✌️ (at Athirappilly Falls) https://www.instagram.com/p/CC_Vtd8A53T/?igshid=5y2x2ju01vd6

In Love With ME
In Love With ME
“Be proud of who you are, and not ashamed of how someone else sees you.”
I can recall the exact incident that made me believe in this quote. I’ve not always been in love with me.
I have always been a girl who isn’t into being up-to-date with fashion trends. But one thing that always made me sad was the lack of fun-times in my school days, being the cool person & all other attributes a…

One of the few candids I've always loved. The only song that comes to my mind after I see this picture is - Ude jab jab zulfe teri.. A day I'll never forget not for the experiences but for the memories I made. Being on the organiser end of a fest after 2 years was like a breath of fresh air. Being surrounded by people who were equally passionate about conducting the first Business Fest of the university. Being around people of huge stature both academically and socially. These 2 days of Footprint'18 were among the few days from my final year I'll cherish for life. Hope to witness this fest from a different perspective some day. #dream #pantnagardiaries #pantnagaruniversity #footprints #ecellpantnagar #2018 #tbt #majorthrow🔙 #majorthrowback #theinstinctivewoman #goodolddays #goodtimes (at G. Hypocritical Agenda?
THIS Raksha Bandhan, protect cows too. GO LEATHER FREE!
An Instagram post with this written in it is what started the “Peta Controversy” on varied platforms of Social Media.
Being a devout follower of Hinduism, all I wondered was how were cows & the festival of Raksha Bandhan related.
For all Rakhis I’ve ever tied on my brothers’ wrists, none has ever been made of leather and from my…

ॐ नमः शिवाय। On the occassion of Mahashivratri, I recall the time I, along with my family, trekked to Bijli Mahadev situated near Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. The trek wasn't a difficult one but after a good rain, it certainly became a lot slippery. The story as narrated by the Pujari ji was as follows: Lightening strikes on the shivling or the nearby statues & structures. The after-effect of it is so strong that the main shivling (placed inside this temple) breaks into numerous pieces. These pieces are thrown by the force on the nearby mountains and valleys. After this, the head Pujari ji has dreams of where the pieces lie. He then collects them all & puts together the Shivling by using Pure Cow Ghee. The Ghee acts as a binding agent and the shivling after prayers & chants is again placed at the same place. Further, the calmness of the area can be felt in the air around. You'll have a heavenly feeling ❤️ Wishing everyone a very Happy Mahashivratri! Essence of Wearing BANGLES
Essence of Wearing BANGLES
Being a proud Indian, I take pride in our traditions, cultures & rituals. From whatever little knowledge I’ve gained about the reasons behind these distinctive traditions, I am astonished by the scientific explanations behind all of them.
But one thing has been pinching my heart for a while now.
For a long time, the traditions followed by the Hindu community have been put under scrutiny.…

Enough is Enough!
Comedy is a beautiful getaway from our everyday lives.
But over the period of time, comedy has been equated to disrespecting & hurting the sentiments of others. This is due to the ‘cool’ generation that thinks that making fun of anyone is funny irrespective of what interpretations can be made of it.
I think the context of this introduction is already clear to you because if it isn’t, I’m…

Can you guess what this black coloured swarm is in the sky? I guess not! Let me tell what this is. In the month of January in 2016, I had the privilege to visit one of the most prestigious institutions of the country - Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad for a national summit. The experience was out of all the expectations I've had is certainly an understatement. Coming back to the swarm, this is a picture of around 5 AM in the morning. We had just reached Ahmedabad Junction and were waiting to find an autorickshaw/taxi to IIM-A. All of a sudden, we saw a weird shape forming in the sky, moving really fast while varying size and shape. We were taken back but like a moment of realisation in the middle of an argument, it struck that there were multiple flocks of birds (we couldn't identify which ones. If you do, please let me know in the comments below.) flying all across the sky. Calling it a miraculous sight would be undermining the beauty of it. We attempted to capture these. I've shots of a distorted heart, this somewhat nest like shot & other random ones. It was literally impossible to ignore the loud chirping & the mere attraction of various shapes being formed. It's been more than 4 years now but I can still feel that feeling of fresh air, rising sun & the melody of their chirps around. Such is the blessing of nature. 🙌🏻❤️ #theinstinctivewoman #birdsofinstagram #birds #birdflocks #ahmedabad #ahmedabad_instagram #ahmedabad_diaries #iim #iimahmedabad #photooftheday #photogram #photographers_of_india #beautyofnature🍃 #mobileclick #yurekaphotography #amateurphotographer #bloggerofindia #bloggersofindia #bloggergirl #blessedbynature (at Ahmedabad Railway Station) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCqnyN-gEPB/?igshid=1u9lif92oy13

Would You?
Sometimes asking questions becomes necessary.
Sometimes the pleasure of hearing the words you want to, makes things right again.
More than accepting, sometimes, being shown is what reaffirms your faith in the relation you tied into.
Sometimes being ‘annoying’ is overwhelmingly cute for the other person.
Someone being a part of your life, sometimes, you need to reassure your heart…

The New Normal
With the COVID-19 affecting everyone’s lives in the worst ways possible, many countries are yet to recover from the overwhelming stress caused to their healthcare systems. The biggest question that has been doing rounds in almost all conversations across the globe, irrespective of who is conversating, is – “When would our lives return to normal?”
Well, for starters, humans have always been bad…

If I were to die today...my biggest regret would be not being able to travel enough. If I were to make a bucket list today...80% of them would involve travelling to far off places, to the wild and unknown lands and feeling the freshness & rawness of that place. Although, I've travelled quite a bit with my family & friends, I aspire to travel with one person, maximum. The less the merrier. (No, I don't believe in "the more the merrier!") The most unprecedented experiences happen when you are least bound by worries and others around you. The more you travel, the more freedom you crave. For me, travelling is like a therapy. A therapy I prefer periodically but I'm always ready for. No matter what is going on in my life, if you arrive at my doorstep at 4 in the morning saying...let's go to xyz place...count me in!!! Above all, I feel that the unplanned trips & tours are the best. Where you have no clue what is it that you should expect or where you stay or how you reach there. You just pack your bags..and leave. I wish to feel those vibes soon. The vibes where I've to not worry about permissions and money and bla bla bla...since the list never ends. Just a bag pack, my phone, my music and me. This image is from Dec, 2017. I was waiting for the train to arrive at the station nearest to my University. P.S. - I've a different level fascination for Train Journeys. What is it that tops your bucket list? A piece of me! The first time I went to Delhi..alone...was in the final year of my graduation. It was for the entrance examinations being held at Delhi. Sole reason for choosing Delhi rather than the centres near my College Campus was I could reach out to various people if I was stuck in any unexpected situation. I recall very clearly, I was scared to death when I got off Ranikhet Express at Old Delhi Railway Station at 4:30 in the chilling morning of January, 2018. I wasn't sure if I would be able to roam across the city. As the naive girl I was, I went to the waiting room to wait for the sun to come up, since my exam was scheduled for the second half of the day. On the way I grabbed a few snacks from McDonald's and sat there scrolling through my social media accounts. Coincidentally, a cousin brother, who was staying in Gurgaon, called up and asked what I was doing. Now, on a normal day, I'd have been pissed for calling me this early but that day, I got a scolding since I forgot to tell him I was visiting Delhi. He asked me to take the next metro to his place. Although I was scared, I somehow agreed. As soon as the freezing air hit my face and the crowd in front of the Chandni Chowk Metro Station came into my view, my brain was flooded with all the unpleasant news and incidents I'd read till date. Gathering all my courage, I walked to the gate and stood at a distance from the crowd (as they were mainly men 🤷🏻♀️). After a while the gates were thrown open to the passengers and everyone rushed in. I waited for them to clear out and in few minutes, I finally entered the metro station, alone. Saying that I was confused & lost would be an understatement. Somehow, I managed to navigate through all the crowded metro lines and finally reached the destined station. No matter how many times I have travelled via metros at wee hours, the way I felt that day can never be the same. One thing I learnt that day - Irrespective of what it is, if we try to hold things in a certain purview...they'll always be difficult to experience it in the most raw forms. So let the prejudices go!! 🤗 (at Chandni Chowk | चांदनी चौक Metro Station) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCd-Y7GAsko/?igshid=xfcnl67wtxoc

Throwback...to the time when this was an every day view. Travelling back to the room I called 'home'. After the tiresome day, all that pulled me to my targets and dreams was my love for it. The mystery behind being the one I always dreamt of. Being at a place that gave me satisfaction and probably help me...prove to the world and to me...that I can do it! No matter what! Making big is a dream every individual knits while in the early 20s. But achieving them is not in everyone's fate. Today, almost 2 years later, there's not a thing that'd I'd change. Not a single day, experience or encounter with the people I came across. Everything led to me. The one I'm today. And I...I'm grateful. 😇 #tbt #tbthursday #delhi #india #xiomi #redmi4aphotography #redmi4a #photooftheday #picoftheday #pictogram #pictorial #life #grateful #gratitude #experience #people #dreams #theinstinctivewoman (at New Delhi) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCbNnuMgNl_/?igshid=1es3c3ant4qf5
