I walk NY, 2014 Photo and Video This is a personal project. I worked in New York City for my intership. I spent four month in the city trying to live, learn and feel every single moment that I had there. New York is a very particular place, if you follow the stream of the streets you can literaly find yourself wherever you want. Also in places that you will never imagine I tried to describe this sensation both in a photo project and a video. In my photo project I described my experience, day by day, there. Each day I choose an image that I combined with a sentence. Looking at my book you can follow three different storylines connected with themothers. Each of them are a very personal and meaningful diary of my journey.

House of Eternity, 2017 Video

“House of eternity” is the result of the workshop “The Emotion of Space” by Beka & Lemoine in Domaine de Boisbuchet. This short movie is one of three film projects that were trying to describe our emotions inside “La Datcha” a little wooden house made by the Russian architect/artist Alexander Brodsky. The idea around the story was to describe the strong perception of the two different realities that the architect recreated in such a small space. The house is made of doors and windows but you can open just two of them and this is probably were everything begin to change.

Fotoromanzo “Nessuna Colpa” - Fotografia Europea, 2018 Photo and Video

“Nessuna Colpa” is part of a commissioned project for Fotografia Europea in Reggio Emilia. The theme of 2018 edition was RIVOLUZIONI. Ribellioni, cambiamenti, utopie. 

Spazio Gerra organized a big exhibition where they showed a Fotoromanzo review in the digital era accompanied by various documentations about Fotoromanzo in Italy. This project was published on a dedicated instagram profile where every day for two months it was published one episode composed by few pictures.

Planet X-Mas

2019 Film

Once a year it is allowed to underline our houses’ exteriors with flashing lights. Apparently, there are no rules for this new vibrant decorating network but on the other hand this self-made design leaves traces of how people read their homes. These intentional design practices transform common and banal buildings into extraordinary architectures. Entrances, balconies, windows, columns and so on become a spontaneous and unquestioned call for kitsch which results are unpredictable. Entrances become doors to hyperspace, balconies become suspended spaceships, columns become razors, vegetation evolves into a new kind of electrified biodiversity. We investigated this temporary portal which appears once a year. Is it hiding an extraterrestrial connection? Are these lights creating a stargate to another dimension? Are Christmas values maybe symptoms caused by this subliminal interaction?

Camera Obscura 2019 Photography and art direction

After being fascinated by Abelardo Morell Works, we started this project. Using the basic technique of photography, darkroom, we portraited the main sites of our hometown, Imola. In this way, the landscape , the city , the interiors are mixed and they result enriched each others.

Migliorare con l’età website  2015 Art direction, web design

We have designed the website for “Migliorare con l’età”, a wedding photo and video studio. The aim was to communicate the company spirit with visual and user experience coeherence. With the development of David Monnuar we have realized a playful experience and colorful graphics elements that create the perfect context for showing company works.

Kindergarten Valeggio sul Mincio 2015 Short video and art direction

CLAB Studio commissioned TheFlagLab the realization of photographs and a video for the kindergarten realized ​​in Salionze in 2014. We took great attention to the children perception of space. Therefore we photographed the asylum both empty, both during a normal day of activities. In the same way, for the video, we chose to describe spaces from the children’s point of view in order to bring back their perception and way of living spaces.

“Galla Placidia and her Mausoleum The story of an Emperess through the centuries” 2015 Animation Video and art direction 

We made a video from the thesis project “The reading of the monument by the contemporary tourists; the perception of Galla Placidia Mausuleum since Grand Tour to nowadays”. We were looking for a different way of introducing the research thesis, in order to be understood by people that don’t have a specific skills about architecture and history. All the characters are based on the image of Pegman, the main tourist and visitor of this century that usually he guide us evrywhere through Google Street View.
