okay but what if neil’s board thing is canon? what if it was foreshadowing? who’s in a love quadrangle? who’s confessing? whO’S MURDER MYSTERY?

but then it fuckin hit me. what if the last two episodes are the season finale and they…are about Max’s parents?

WHAT IF THEY ARE PART EPISODES?! I’D HAVE TO WAIT A WEEK TO SEE THE NEXT ONE. WWOKWOAKDJC.

I can be wrong but…

What if the chart that Neil pulls out in episode 2 isn’t just foreshadowing but it also tells us which episodes the events that Neil predicted are going to happen in?

If you look at the chart on the side it is numbered 1 through 12 which is the number of episodes in both season 1 and 2 (Not including the specials). So If you look at the areas that are highlighted this may mean that episode 3 is going to be the “Scooby-Doo-like murder mystery”, episode 7 is going to be about the “love quad-triangle” and episode 12 is going to be the “ Accidental wiretap confession”.

I like this idea, only problem with this is:

In 'Romeo and Juliet 2: Love Resurrected,' David has a Tinder account, and Tinder....

...came out two summer's AFTER 2011.

At the very LEAST, we can assume that maybe Camp Camp is set in 2013, but maybe going through the series and double checking for any time-relevant clues would be a good idea.

I liked this theory though!!! Sorry if I just Myth-busted it!!!

IsA few things about camp camp

I’m fairly certain it takes place in 2011.

When they go to town someone mentions Aught nine and one of them responds with a few years ago

We also know David to be 24 years old and that he attended camp Camp at some point in the 90s given Jaspers vernacular. This would make David too young to have attended camp in the 90s if it took place in 2016 or 17

We also know from Jasper that at the time of the story he was aware of the phantom menace but it had yet to be released. The first trailer for the phantom menace was released November 1998, and the movie opened may 1999. So for Jasper to have even heard about it we can place the story about him in the summer of 1998.

Which if we take my assumption of 2011 as when the show takes place that would make David right around the same age as Max is now at the time of the story.

BUT YOU KNOW, DEEP DOWN, DAVID IS NOW HOT-WIRED TO BE PREPARED FOR THE NEXT TIME, LIKE:

'Next time... I will hug this child. I will be ready.'

Because yeah, there's no way Rooster Teeth isn't going to make these characters have more emotional, heart-break, 'OHGOD WHY' moments in season 3 and/or beyond.

So yeah. David is now waiting not-so patiently on the edge of his seat to give his smart-ass, not-really-but-basically-yeah son the proper hug he deserves and I am rIGHT THERE WITH YOU, BUDDY.
