We had some newlyweds grace our presence this weekend with Norma Shearer and Irving Thalberg.  May they have a long, blissful marriage. (1936 - 3 months later Irving passed away from pneumonia)

This weekend we witnessed Henry Fonda dancing the night away under the Palms and the soft lights ‘til the crack of dawn. (1936)

Last night Elizabeth Taylor and Mike Todd joined us for cocktails. They have been seen together frequently in recent weeks.  We think there may be wedding bells in the air. (September 20, 1956)

Mrs and Mrs. Kirk Douglas at the 1957 Golden Globe Awards held at the Coconut Grove in the Ambassador Hotel on Feb 28th. Kirk Douglas won that night for Best Actor for Lust For Life. - That's Elizabeth Taylor and her husband Mike Todd at the table behind them !!
