DCLM Daily Manna 4 March 2024 TOPIC: Fulfil Your Ministry TEXT: LUKE 4:33-44 33 And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, 34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God. 35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not. 36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out. 37 And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about. 38 And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her. 39 And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them. 40 Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them. 41 And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ. 42 And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them. 43 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent. 44 And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee. KEY VERSE “And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent” (Luke 4:43). DCLM Daily Manna 4 March 2024 MESSAGE An American hero, Timothy Stackpole, was among the first to reach Ground Zero after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on World Trade Centre, New York. He led a team that ran into the second tower to rescue victims after it was struck. When he did, it collapsed and took his life. He knew his calling - to save people. The story of Stackpole, moving and inspiring as it is cannot be compared with the eternally- rewarding service we have signed up to as believers. Irrespective of the attendant danger that we might face, we must always remember that we have been called to a life of service and like a true soldier depicted in the song, “It pays to serve Jesus,” we must be willing to die at our post. READ DCLM Daily Manna Sunday 3 March 2024 – Go Again Seven Times The exemplary life and ministry of Christ as narrated in our passage shows His total devotion and absolute commitment to healing and deliverance ministry. His exploits in casting out devils and healing the sick spread like wild fire. Soon, the surrounding villages brought their sick to Him and He healed them all. As His popularity grew, the people want

MFM Daily Devotional 4 March 2024 TOPIC: Keep Believing (II) FIRE SCRIPTURE: 1 Kings 18: 41 -44 41 And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain. 42 So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, 43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. 44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not. MEMORY VERSE For ye have need of patience, that, after that ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise Hebrews 10:36 MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES: With persistent faith, you will fulfil your colourful destiny. PRAISE AND WORSHIP: Take praise and worship songs as the Holy Spirit leads you. PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY: Receive the grace to keep believing God in good and bad times, in the name of Jesus. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Joshua 3; Joshua 4; Joshua 5; Philippians 3; Philippians 4 MFM Daily Devotional 4 March 2024 MESSAGE Yesterday, we emphasized that every believer needs to demonstrate persistent faith. Some battles will not be won and some problems will not be solved unless you demonstrate persistent and rock-life faith — one that continues to believe God in the face of trials and temptations that span a long time. We added that such was the kind of faith that Abraham and Sarah exhibited before they got Isaac. It was the kind of faith that got Samuel for Hannah. It is the kind of faith you need today. Beloved, the devil knows that your victory is tied to your unwavering and persistent faith. That is why he attacks the believer’s faith. He did it to the patriarchs, Jesus, Peter and Paul, among others. On one occasion, Jesus told Peter that the enemy wanted his faith to fail (Luke 22:31-32) so as to truncate his ministry and destiny as well as the glorious things the Lord used him for later in his life. Thank God that Jesus prayed for Peter and aborted the devil’s agenda. Dear reader, no matter what the enemy brings your way, don’t allow your faith to fail or waver. Keep on believing our all-powerful and ever-faithful God. He still answers prayers; trust his timing also and He will come through for you, in Jesus’ name. READ MFM Daily Devotional 3 March 2024 – Keep Believing (I) Do not give up on your dream or vision. Do not lose faith. The faith that fails never produces good results. Keep on believing. Elijah prayed for the rain that God had promised. He prayed with precision and with passion, but the answer did not come straight away. He sent his servant to look toward the sea for a sign of rain. At the seventh time, the servant saw a little cloud the size of a man’s hand. Rain eventually fell afte

And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentiles: and the people fled from the Philistines. 12 But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the Lord wrought a great victory. 13 And three of the thirty chief went down, and came to David in the harvest time unto the cave of Adullam: and the troop of the Philistines pitched in the valley of Rephaim. 14 And David was then in an hold, and the garrison of the Philistines was then in Bethlehem. 15 And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate! 16 And the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the Lord. 17 And he said, Be it far from me, O Lord, that I should do this: is not this the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mighty men. 18 And Abishai, the brother of Joab, the son of Zeruiah, was chief among three. And he lifted up his spear against three hundred, and slew them, and had the name among three. 19 Was he not most honourable of three? therefore he was their captain: howbeit he attained not unto the first three. 20 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man, of Kabzeel, who had done many acts, he slew two lionlike men of Moab: he went down also and slew a lion in the midst of a pit in time of snow: 21 And he slew an Egyptian, a goodly man: and the Egyptian had a spear in his hand; but he went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and slew him with his own spear. 22 These things did Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and had the name among three mighty men. 23 He was more honourable than the thirty, but he attained not to the first three. DCLM Daily Manna Sunday 3 March 2024 TOPIC: Go Again Seven Times TEXT: 1 Kings 18:41-46 (KJV) 41 And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain. 45 And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. 46 And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel. KEY VERSE “And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.” 1 Kings 18:43 DCLM Daily Manna 3 March 2024 Message It was Calvin Coolidge who said, “Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful individuals with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.” He concludes by emphatically recommending persistence and determination as unbeatable virtues for excellence in life. Elijah is unique among the prophets of God. He was bold and courageous in the fight for truth. When he confronted hundreds of prophets of Baal on Mount Camel, he prayed and fire came down. In the New Testament, Apostle James presents him as the model of a prayerful believer who would not accept ‘No’ for an answer, whose earnest prayer locked up the heaven for three and half years; and opened it again when he prayed (James 5:17,18). READ DCLM Daily Manna Saturday 2 March 2024 – An Epistle To The Noble This model of importunity and undeniable persistence in obtaining answers to our prayers forms the central message in today’s passage. Elijah prayed and told his servant to look out for the sign of rain. The servant went to observe the sky seven times before reporting that he saw a cloud as small as the size of a man’s hand. That small cloud became the sign of a downpour of rain that made the “earth to bring forth her fruits”. We learn that even when a believer prays in faith, it is God that determines when and how to answer. Also, delay is no denial. Elijah was convinced about the faithfulness of God to his words as expressed in (2 Chronicles 7:13,14). Hence, he persisted. We should learn to tarry in the place of prayer until the answer comes. God is faithful to fulfill His promises (Hebrews 10:23). THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Tarrying

And he said, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho. 5 And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Lord will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace. 6 And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I pray thee, here; for the Lord hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on. 7 And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan. 8 And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground. 9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. 10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. 11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. MEMORISE “But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may enquire of the LORD by him? MFM Daily Devotional 2 March 2024 TOPIC: Tell God About Your Need (II) BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Deuteronomy 31; Deuteronomy 32; Deuteronomy 33; Ephesians 5; Ephesians 6 FIRE SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 38:1-8 38 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. 2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the Lord, 3 And said, Remember now, O Lord, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. 4 Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah, saying, 5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. 6 And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city. 7 And this shall be a sign unto thee from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing that he hath spoken; 8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down. MEMORY VERSE And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. Mark 1:40 MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES: God knows your needs and when you tell him about them in a prayer of faith, He will meet them. PRAISE AND WORSHIP: Take praise and worship songs as the Holy Spirit leads you. PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY: Today, I pray that you will have an unforgettable encounter with El-Shaddai, the All-Sufficeint God, in the name of Jesus. MFM Daily Devotional 2 March 2024 MESSAGE Yesterday, we rounded off our discourse by stressing that Jesus taught us to always take our needs to God, His Father and our Father too. The reason for this divine admonition is that our Father is sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. He is ever-sufficient and always more than enough. He can do all things and meet all needs. The following Bible characters provide us good examples of those who had needs, told God about them and their needs were met: The leper who asked to be purified (Mark 1:40). He told Jesus about his need and got his miracle David asked for forgiveness (Psalm 51). God heard and forgave him. Peter asked for salvation (Matthew 14:30). The evil-doer on the cross asked Jesus to remember him (Luke 23:42). The tax collector asked for mercy (Luke 18:13). The Canaanite woman asked for help for her daughter (Matthew 15:22). The blind asked to have his eyes opened (Mark 10:51). Beloved, note that all the foregoing Bible characters got their needs met by the Lord, and their sorrow was replaced with great joy. Why worry and complain when you can pray? The hymn writer penned, “What a privilege we often for

Open Heaven Devotional 2 March 2024 TOPIC: Your Right-Hand Man READ: Exodus 4:10-16 (KJV) 10 And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. 11 And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord? 12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say. 13 And he said, O my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send. 14 And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart. 15 And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do. 16 And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God. MEMORISE “But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.” Exodus 17:12 RCCG Open Heaven Daily Devotional Message For everyone who becomes great, there is always at least one person God provides to be his or her ‘right-hand man’. For example, in Exodus 4:10-16, when Moses told God that he could not go to Egypt because he couldn’t speak well, God appointed Aaron to assist him. In Exodus 17:8-13, when the Amalekites came to attack Israel, Moses went to the mountaintop with Aaron and Hur and told Joshua to lead the army in the valley below. Moses lifted up his hands and Israel prevailed, but when his hands got tired, Aaron and Hur gave him a rock to sit on and held up his hands. In the meantime, Joshua was in the valley below fighting. All these people were right-hand men to Moses. We find another example in Genesis 24. Abraham called his lead servant and asked him to get a wife for His son amongst his (Abraham’s) people. That lead servant was Abraham’s right-hand man in this case. I should, however, also note that the term is genderless, as a woman can also be a ‘right-hand man’ to another woman. The right-hand man is someone who is close enough to his or her leader to know what the latter needs at every moment, and be proactive in providing it. READ RCCG Open Heaven Daily Devotional 1 March 2024 – Prayer For Yourself You should also identify your right-hand man if you haven’t. Your right-hand man can say what you cannot say yourself or might have a way of presenting the matter that will effectively pass on your intended message. He or she can be the lifter of your hands, the one who will help you when your hands go weary. Such a pers

Daily Manna Saturday 2 March 2024 TOPIC: An Epistle To The Noble TEXT: Luke 1:1-4 (KJV) 1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, 2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word; 3 It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus, 4 That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed. KEY VERSE “It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus.” Luke 1:3 DCLM Daily Manna 2 March 2024 MESSAGE In an article on ‘Evangelising the Upper Class’, Ellen White asked, ‘We talk and write much about the neglected poor, should some attention not also be given to the neglected rich?’ Social stratification may create social barriers but the preaching of the gospel is to every creature – nobles and commoners. The upper class in every society is usually composed of men and women of power and influence. They are often neglected in the area of evangelism for personal and social reasons. READ DCLM Daily Manna Friday 1 March 2024 – Ornament Of Grace Our text educates us on the need to reach out to the people in the upper echelons of society. Luke wrote his epistle primarily to Theophilus, a noble man, and an influential personality in that society. The first thing to note is the commonality of the preacher and his audience. The letter was written by Luke, the beloved physician (Colossians 4:14) to ‘most excellent Theophilus’, whose title suggests that he was a member of the upper class or a noble. Luke, judging from his profession, was not a poor man or a nonentity. The first lesson is that upper class members should intensify their efforts to reach out to their peers. The second lesson is the choice of appropriate methods of evangelism. Luke wrote an epistle to Theophilus. This strategy is still appropriate to reach the nobles or members of the upper class who mostly live in gated estates and government-reserved areas. Many of them also travel frequently. The privilege of letter writing in this digital age is limitless as distance is no longer a barrier. Our text also outlines the qualities of a good soul-winner. He or she must be soundly converted, well-informed, persuaded and have the competence to present the gospel logically and convincingly. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Can God depend on you to reach the unreached? BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 2 Corinthians 8-10

MFM Daily Devotional 1 March 2024 TOPIC: Tell God About Your Need (I) FIRE SCRIPTURE: Matthew 6:9-13 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. MEMORY VERSE Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES: God, who never lies and never fails, has promised to supply all your needs. Trust Him! PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY: The God of Elijah, who can do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ever ask or think, will manifest in Your situation today, in the name of Jesus. PRAISE AND WORSHIP: Take praise and worship songs as the Holy Spirit leads you. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Deuteronomy 28; Deuteronomy 29; Deuteronomy 30; Ephesians 3; Ephesians 4 MFM Daily Devotional 1 March 2024 MESSAGE All mortals, men and women, have one need or the other. However, individuals seek different ways to get their needs met. Beloved, what you do with your need or challenge and who you approach to provide your need matter a lot. Some people tell their fellow men and women about their needs or challenges. They throw a pity party and expect sympathy. Often, those whom they go to only listen and give them an excuse for not being able to help. God does not come to their mind until much later. Some also, due to the weight of the seemingly impossible need or challenge throw themselves into worry and despair which often lead to depression. Some even commit suicide. Yet, some other people complain and blame their parents, siblings, spouses, co-workers, neighbours or even God for their plight or need. Lastly, many give up or lose hope because they see their challenge as too great or impossible for anyone to meet. READ MFM Daily Devotional 29 February 2024 – Just say, Thank You Jesus! Dear reader, every problem or challenge in your life is a need, and there is no need (spiritual or physical) that God cannot meet. The question is: who do you tell about your need or challenge? For many people, God does not come first or primarily to their minds whenever they have a need. They remember Him after they might have tried other options. This ought not to be so. Often, many believers tell their needs to their siblings and relatives, friends, spouses, rich and influential persons around them, medical experts, and so on. They do this, leaving God out of their calculation. As a believer, God should be the first person that should come to your mind to talk to about your needs. He is sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent and nothing is impossible for Him to do. He is compassionate and ever-faithful. He never fails. In Matthew 6:8, the Lord J

DCLM Daily Manna Friday 1 March 2024 TOPIC: Ornament Of Grace TEXT: PROVERBS 1:1-9 1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; 2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; 3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; 4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. 5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: 6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. 7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. 8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: 9 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck. KEY VERSE “For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck” (PROVERBS 1:9). DCLM Daily Manna Friday 1 March 2024 Message A Bible scholar asserts that “No bodily ornament will ever be more respectable and honourable to the Christian than true Bible wisdom, instruction, understanding, equity, and discretion, together with a deep desire to learn the principles that make an ornament of grace”. Apostle Paul’s exposition throws more light on the ornament of grace mentioned in our passage today. Solomon first identifies the elements of godly wisdom as instruction and understanding (vs 2), justice, judgment and equity (vs 3), discretion (vs 4) and experience (vs 5). In verse 7, he stresses that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. In verse 9, he concludes that obedience to godly parents and submission to godly counsel will make a son to become wise and attract the attention of many to his conduct and character. READ DCLM Daily Manna Thursday 29 February 2024 – Irreversible Fate This godly wisdom, which is described as ornament of grace, is a function of the presence of God’s enablement in the life of the individual. Apostle Paul said, “by the grace of God I am what I am” (1 Corinthians 15:10). The Bible says, the law came through Moses but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17). GRACE is God’s Righteousness Acquired/Activated at Christ’s Expense. The message is still relevant to youths today who ignore parental and godly counsels to pursue the fading fads and fleeting fashions of modern society. The study equally invites all of us to pay greater attention to our Christian character, which is the manifestation of grace, than outward dressing. Grace ennobles and beautifies us, making our character to be attractive and sends forth a fragrance of goodness, godliness and graciousness. Do people see the ornament of grace in your life? THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Nothing is as beautiful as a gracious life. THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 2 CORINTHIANS 5-7

This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. MFM Daily Devotional 29 February 2024 TOPIC: Just say, Thank You Jesus! FIRE SCRIPTURE: Ezekiel 37:1-10 37 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, 2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. 3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest. 4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. 5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: 6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord. 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. 8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. 9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. MEMORY VERSE "Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD." Psalms 150:6 MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES: In case you don't have any reason to say, thank You Jesus; remember that without His breath we are nothing but mere dust. PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY: May you find every reason to praise and thank God every day of your life, in the name of Jesus BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Deuteronomy 25, Deuteronomy 26, Deuteronomy 27, Ephesians 1, Ephesians 2 PRAISE AND WORSHIP: Take praise and worship songs as the Holy Spirit leads you. MFM Daily Devotional 29 February 2024 MESSAGE Today's devotional is a call to an attitude of gratitude to God Almighty, irrespective of your age, status, spirituality, colour or race. As long as you are a living being, why not stop whatever you may be doing at intervals during the day, not only during the morning or night prayers; take a pause even now, and say, "THANK YOU JESUS! You may wonder in your mind, "But I said it this morning." That could even be minutes or hours ago. It can't ever be too much. Can you imagine how many people have stopped breathing within that same period of time? You don't need to rationalise it. Just say it! Perhaps you haven't said it today or you are not even in the habit of doing so. As a child of God, I advise you this morning that you begin to covet and put into it a practice in your day-to-day, hour-to-hour activities. DCLM Daily Manna 29 February 2024 TOPIC: Irreversible Fate TEXT: LUKE 16:19-31 19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. KEY VERSE “And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence” (LUKE 16:26). DCLM Daily Manna 29 Feb 2024 MESSAGE In thermodynamics, an irreversible process is one in which the system and its surroundings cannot return to their original state. The fuel consumed on a long journey cannot condense back into the fuel tank. We say something is irreversible when it cannot be undone. Our text focuses on Lazarus, a beggar and the rich man who found themselves on the opposite side of eternity where their fate was irreversible. The rich man was cast into hell, a place of torment while Lazarus was carried into paradise. In hell, the rich man pleaded with Father Abraham to allow Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water to quench his thirst. The patriarch declined because of the great gulf between them. Next, he pleaded that someone should be sent from heaven to warn his brothers to repent, lest they also end up in hell. Father Abraham replied that there were enough preachers on earth to do the job if only his brothers would listen. READ DCLM Daily Manna Wednesday 28 February 2024 – A Plea For Revival The rich man did not go to hell
