one week left of the semester and I’m just trying so hard not to procrastinate everything. All in all, however, this has been my best semester of uni yet!

i’ve been having really terrible headaches for the past days now, maybe sleeping everyday at 5am is not a great idea 🙃 anyway, im currently working on the revisions for my thesis. 

can all of this be over already? im so tired :(

28.08.20 / it’s almost september! i was checking my goals for august and found myself pleasantly surprised that i’ve completed most of them. here’s an orchid i got the other day. not sure what to name her yet. any ideas? hope you’re doing well. happy friday ♡

Trying to recap my previous semesters cosmology course, as i have a meeting with the cosmology prof regarding doing my bachelor in the cosmo group in a few days! I’m a bit nervous and don’t really know what to expect, but excited nonetheless

term 3 reflections are underway! looking at patient interaction themes in emergency ambulances, which is a lot of fun, even if i’m not a huge fan of the reflection model we use

lots of cathartic note taking today to stem this bout of anxiety that crept out of nowhere. i woke up at 4 a.m. and have been up since, so hopefully i can sleep tonight. it doesn’t help that i’m also worried about not being able to correct my sleeping schedule before i return to work in a couple of weeks…

did some plasmid component review including a deeper study of the lac operon because i didn’t pay attention in genetics class ever and now need it for a living. whoops. it was tough to concentrate this morning because my neighbor was doing yard work the entire time, but i powered through and actually learned a lot!!

also did some spotify hunting and came upon frederic rzewski’s the people united. i highly recommend it especially if you have any inclination towards 20th century american classical music, and the sociopolitical context behind his pieces is also worth diving into! gotta love the intersection of politics and classical music ヾ(＠°▽°＠)ﾉ

9.2.19 // it’s labor day and i got up early to catch up on stuff from last week and hopefully start this week’s stuff in a timely manner.  i worked for 7 hours yesterday and i’m looking at about the same amount today, but it’ll be better because i started earlier in the day.
