But do you know how much that means to me actually? Legit one of the things that kinda stops me from second guessing myself and my writing so bad is having a fic that is SO beloved by some folks... Also it is unfinished... FOR NOW. I have NOT given up on it!!! I'm just very slow and my health is still having its ups and downs but I'm working on the next chapter as we speak, pls keep holding my hand while I get on with it

One of the coolest parts about being a fan of fanfic is you can actually contact the author. And they will respond. And then you can message them nonstop until they allow you into their lives and then you’re becoming their beta reader and suddenly you know multiple authors of all types of fiction books and fanfic authors who will drag out their deleted fics for you to read at a moments notice.

Anyway. Comment on fics and message authors. It’s absolutely worth it.

At least it was closer to the Hangman he was used to than to the new person he’d met just a few days ago, conciliating both was still a struggle considering the infrequent appearances of one to another. He’d get there. But Hangman laughs at the reprimand and grins from his seat like a mischievous kid, all too self satisfied.  “Let’s not forget the words, before you speak ask yourself if what you are going to say is true? Is it kind? Is it necessary? Is it helpful?” Jake continues, in his best Meltzer impression which of course, only caused Bradley to blink back for a few seconds and then start laughing. After their silent goodbye towards the building, he’d thought Hangman wasn’t going to be very talkative for the day, hell, he had been prepared for it! But seemingly that intermittent napping had somewhat recharged the man’s quip storage.
