Hi I’m Magick! I am 18 years old and I use they/he pronouns. I am a disabled and neurodivergent person who’s taking commissions to make carrds and canva designs. 🥰 I don’t have any other means of income atm so any support in any capacity is appreciated. The beauty of youth slips between my fingers.

It ebbs and flows, before suddenly disintegrating,

Where I stand on an empty path,

My body weary from the burden of existence and wisdom,

Carrying the cross of experience and pain on my back,

Feeling the shatters form in my bones.

The beauty of youth flickers,

Teasing like a lover.

There, but then gone again,

Fading away before my eyes as my vision turns to black.

Thick, thick smoke with the smell of filthy existence.

The beauty of youth is ugly,

Masquerading like a siren,

Her song so immaculately beautiful,

But her demise so agonisingly brutal.

decided i would start posting my poetry, for those who are interested. more will be posted in the upcoming future. this is the first.

I think there is much to be said for someone who has a beautiful soul.

We think of beauty as something on the outside,

Something material,

Something we can rip and tear and watch degrade beneath our fingertips.

But when beauty comes from within,

It is no longer the object of affection,

But the object of yearning.

When beauty is something more divine than something our eyes can gaze upon,

It often makes the human mind afraid.

Like coming across an angel in hell.

There comes an uncanny feeling, like the heart recognises something that the outside world does not.

There comes judgement, there comes terror, there comes mocking.

But when you find yourself gazing into the eye of the beholder,

Their beauty, as it comes face to face with you, becomes like a mother’s gentle embrace.
