Again, this stuff is totally free, no strings attached (besides "give credit" and the fact that there will be paid commissions available on this page at some point in the future) and I ask a ton of questions to tailor what I write to exactly what you want! Hit me up if you're interested. I do NOT write smut or fetish content, but I do write as much gore and angst and fluff and crack and action and prose as you could possibly desire!
Also I ran out of tags, so I'm gonna re blog later with more tags lol

I have very, very strong opinions about Marvel vs DC and individual interpretations of them.
Personally, I'm a DC person. There are a couple of Marvel characters I adore, though.
Love Deadpool, Black Widow, Black Panther, and Spider-Man, but the cinematic universe butchered Spider-Man (obviously with the exception of Spiderverse, which is a masterpiece) and killed off Natasha for another (male) character's arc rather than her own.
The other thing about Marvel that irks me is that there's always meaning in the wrong places. People always die for some greater significance, except those that are killed off as an origin story, and nothing matters because the good guys win BECAUSE they're good, and it's milked for all its worth. And yet, where's the deeper symbolism? Where's the character driven plot? It feels like they just keep adding explosions and a sympathetic motive and expect it to create a film anything more than entertaining.
The OTHER other thing that I don't like is the shameless mixing of characters for ratings. Once you have a green muscle guy dealing with self vs impulse, a red and gold robot billionaire dealing with mortality, a wizard with a big cloak, a team of colourful aliens, a patriotic government experiment, and a Russian spy with trust issues fighting on the same team with no attempt to thematically connect them at all, you've lost me. Might as well throw in a dinosaur or two to make it more action-y.
It could be argued that DC also does this, but they at least balance it well. Every character in DC works with at least three or four other characters outside of their own direct storyline. People can die for no reason in DC, and flaws are developed and worked with, not thrown in to humanize an essential god. Even Superman, the poster boy for bland superheroes, is genuinely interesting when explores further. Marvel's equivalent, Captain Marvel's best personality trait is that she's a woman. She has very few flaws or traits at all except an attitude, and she's only allowed that when it's charming.
Anyway, Marvel's okay at best with occasional masterpieces, and DC has flaws, obviously, but is much more my tastes.

So I do writing, and I do art. I think I may start posting those things from time to time, but this is not an aesthetic blog, this is just a "whatever the hell I feel like" blog lol

It was a pleasure to write this for you. I am currently offering free commissions of prose and/or poetry based on any non sexual image anyone would like to send! Ideally I'm looking for aesthetic images, particularly unusual photography, but I am also open to writing about your OCs if you have good pictures!

The world is nothing but elements
And they walk the space between.
They cast aside their visages,
For what love can be seen
But in the sparks that cup her slender hand
And set her eyes ablaze,
Or the wind that whispers nothings,
Sweet enough to blur his gaze?
The glowing walk by, hand in hand.
The ground skims beneath their feet.
All the world falls away,
And yet their worlds are complete.
Her cold hands weave a canvas for him,
In itself a work of art,
And she shapes the sky, and hurries the clouds,
As she sculpts her lover’s heart.
When his fiery eyes look across the sky,
Still blurred from what he hears,
Her frigid eyes light up with joy
At the wonderment that appears
As he takes in the sight of billowing, feather-light ribbons
Sprawled across her vast domain.
The sky curls as her finger traces his,
And the clouds make anew again.
He lets out a soft sigh, and picks up a brush
Of cinderwood, the bones of the glen.
A single spark lifts from his lips,
Spilling scarlet ink across his pen.
She breathes out a low, northerly breeze,
And catches a flock of his golden ash,
Each lazily cupping her cheek
As they wrap a golden sash
Around the red tip of his pen,
Letting the colours burn bright.
And he lifts his flaming wings to her paper,
And washes away the night.
A campfire thrashes below them,
A candle dances with the wind.
The fire is swept off his feet in the air,
And the unearthly couple ascends.
He, a bird born of a flame-laced nest,
And her, the mistress of the restless skies
Unite in joyful rejection of nature,
And a thousand lifetimes pass between their eyes.
A gale may extinguish a cowering flame,
And a breeze may fan the red-hot rage of the dove.
But when they balance and entwine so perfectly,
What could it be, my dear, but love?

No cause. Not to be political on main. But the thing about the whole communism vs capitalism debate is neither are perfect. Neither actually work, and both result in hellish societies. But here's the thing. If they DID work, in the perfect capitalist society, some people would still be suffering. Yeah, they theoretically "deserved it", but the whole point of capitalism is still to be better. In communism, at least everyone is happy. No one is living in the lap of luxury, but no one is struggling day to day either.

Sally Face Strange Nightmares
In case any fan HASN'T already heard, Sally Face is getting a board game version! Currently, we're $25k away from a solo mode for the board game, and I, a lonely introvert, wish to play the game without needing like minded friends. Please, PLEASE spare a couple of bucks and back the project, plus it has some of the coolest merch I've ever seen (second to maybe WTNV's website). Here's the link; https://sally-face-strange-nightmares.kckb.st/0525376d
