Other people reading my stories not understanding everything annoys me even though they shouldn't be expected to be able to read my mind.

Having the character call herself Sandra in her head, and then having another character call her Cassie was on purpose. It was suppose to show that the other character doesn't really respect what she wants to called, and that her full name is actually Cassandra.

And then sometimes they're like "is this sentence really necessary 🤔" after I fantasised being able to write that one sentence for a week.

is there an alternative way to say 'had had' because seeing it bloods my boils. it just doesn't seem correct.

when i'm tired i don't pay attention and write in past tense, but then sometimes the story makes more sense in present tense so now i have to change it and it's annoying. but it looks so weird and wrong and the words aren't flowing the same anymore :(

like in a series of flash fiction stories i wrote, the events appear in chronological order, but the first story is in present tense and the last two are in past tense. so now it doesn't make that much sense how it currently is, but i can't really be bothered to change it ;-;

and does anyone even care about the tenses of stories or is that a me thing that i get too worried about.

Being ace in fandoms is so awkward sometimes because yeah the allos like the irredeemably evil villain who has murdered countless innocent people and experiments on children because he's conventionally attractive, what's my excuse? urghh, I don't know if the stories are independent enough because they all are the characters interacting with a dragon but not realising that it is a dragon yk. It's the same dragon the whole time, and the reader doesn't know it's a dragon until the last story. The plot makes sense without the other stories, but it's not extremely clear that it's a dragon idk

bruh I have to write 1500-2000 words worth of magical realism flash fiction for my creative writing class by wednesday 😭

My teacher hardly gave us any time, two periods of classwork and everything else homework, but I guess this is just a first draft so it doesn't have to be extremely good because it'd be edited later. But still. He gave us more time when we just had to write a 900-1000 word story, which some people didn't even finish.

I'm going to be writing 4 stories with 400-500 words each and so far I have written 250. At least it's an extremely long weekend because of Melbourne Cup day so I'll have plenty of time to write (but I also have art homework, which I won't have to finish until friday) 👍

but I did this to myself, because I could have chosen to do screen writing instead which would have been way quicker 😔
