A Note on Grimm

So! Now that I’ve established that Verity and Grimm are a couple, I figured I’d enlighten you all on how I plan to portray our favourite troupe master.

Inspiration

So, in terms of character, I plan to go off of a slightly altered version of another one of my characters: Chrysor, the original lad from @chrysor-and-holy-fire. Normally, Chrys is honest, noble and charming. However, Grimm is going to be more manipulative (not towards Verity!) and cunning, but still with that charm we all know.

My… it’s simply delightful to know the inspiration behind one’s character, is it not?

In-Character Markers

So, normally, in a multi-character blog (like Chrysor and Holy Fire, or Tales from the Neath when I had that), I identify characters as follows:

NYX DARKHELM:

Ah! Now then… this feels… odd…

Their name in bold italics, with an indented line of coloured text. However, for this blog, it’s all gonna be colour. For instance, as you saw before, Grimm’s colour is going to be red. Verity’s text, for now, will remain solely italics with no styling.

What is there to worry about, friend? While I do not doubt your skill with a nail, you also are travelling with a Knight who spent their entire life refining their prowess. I assure you, should anything happen, we will be well-defended.

[With that, Verity allows the Envoy to take the lead, guiding them through to Greenpath. Throughout the walk, they’re usually preoccupied with taking in just how much Hallownest has changed since the last time they saw it in the waking realm.]
