Lydianromantic and Lydiansexual
Lydianromantic: Someone who is EXCLUSIVELY attracted to nonmen in a romantic sense. This says nothing of their sexual attraction.
Lydiansexual: Someone who is EXCLUSIVELY attracted to nonmen in a sexual sense. This says nothing of their romantic attraction.
Why is it called Lydian___?
Sappho, a greek poetess known for her poems adoring women and having romantic relations with them, is the inspiration for the term sapphic (nonmen loving nonmen, a nonexclusive term). She had an appreciation for finer things, such as jewelry, and she got this from a place called Lydia, according to historians. We also have evidence of her having a lover in Lydia as well!
Lydian teenage girls were also known for being very affectionate to a homoerotic degree.
So can lydiansexual people be attracted to men?
Sexually? No.
Romantically? Yes, but they do not have to!
These terms have been created in a specific way to acknowledge and appreciate one’s romantic and sexual attraction to provide people with specific experiences, much like how bisexual has a romantic counterpart: biromantic.
Can I identify as this?
The only requirements is that if you identify as lydiansexual you are only sexually attracted to nonmen, and you are a nonman. Your romantic attraction can be literally whatever, so long as the before is true.

What about Lydian?
If you identify as either of these, you can identify as Lydian!

What does each color mean though?
E7AF36 - a golden yellow that symbolizes gendernoncomformity
F1CF86 - a light honey-like color, symbolizing nectar, something mentioned often in Sappho’s poetry
FDF6EC - an off-white color that symbolizes trans lydians, nonbinary lydians, and lack of connection to gender due to societal expectations
C298D2 - lavender purple color. lavender has been a symbol for general queerness. It also symbolizes a possible disconnect between one’s sexual and romantic attraction.
BC80C1 - Violet, since Sappho commonly references violets in her poetry, a queer symbol used a lot.

redesign of the neptunic flag
Neptunic refers to an individual who is attracted to both Nonbinary and Female genders.
It can also be described as the attraction to all people except men and man aligned and/or masculine aligned non-binary people.
This orientation is mostly used by non-binary people to describe their attraction without relying on the gender binary, but it can be used by anyone. The term can be used as a sexuality on it's own or can be combined with other orientations.
