♥ || He was still scolded, but at least it was not for awakening late. He'd close one eye and smile as the hand ruffled his golden locks gently, and he'd simply shrug off the scolding with a nod of confirmation. "It will not happen again, Father. I am sorry." Though his voice held a bit too much excitement to be seen as completely apologetic, but he would still make sure not to do so again. There was no need to feel bad for scolding Avery, that is what Libra was there for no? To teach the boy. Rolling his shoulders, the child quickly followed after Libra.
The child entered the room with a slight dip in his confidence, but he nonetheless walked right up to the man's side, trying to peek over his shoulder at whatever it was he was doing. "Father?" He'd ask, somewhat confused as to what he was doing, but after realizing he should probably stay silent, he did. All noise died down from the boy who was curiously watching him, though blue eyes did loiter around the room if not for a few slow seconds. Surely Libra was going to teach him something new today, right? If not, he'd be highly disappointed.

ღ — Libra was one of a calm and collected demeanor. He would rarely become angry due to believing that it was a sin and even a fatal flaw. Teeth gently scraped his bottom lip as he continued to read, clearly aware of the boy’s presence; he refused to be interrupted or distracted while reading any sort of holy scripture. As seconds passed, his head arose from the book before turning to face the boy. Placing a hand atop his head full of blonde locks, he smiled gently. ” Did you need something, my son? “, a quick frown shortly following as he briefly paused, ” You mustn’t interrupt during reading. It is seen as disrespect. “. Though the scolding was soft, he felt bad nonetheless.
” You’ve awoken now, haven’t you? ” A faint sigh left his lips as he turned his back to the other before walking out of the chapel and into the housing area of the Cathedral, gesturing for the boy to follow. There shown Libra’s sleeping quarters; books stacked high and low with a desk sitting idle in the corner, close near his bed. The bed, of all things, stuck out the most in the room; being made of the finest silk and stuffed with cotton that felt almost as if you were sleeping on the clouds. He deserved it— he gave most his life to others, and in which they returned with a wonderful home for him within the Cathedral he had run.

♥ || "Good morning miss." She was dressed rather oddly-- but, the child was not one to judge outwardly, so he simply smiled and welcomed the young lady as she entered the Chapel.

♥ || Avery certainly did not expect this many people to come to the chapel this early, and all at once-- but then again, it was only natural for people to wish to come see Father, no? Either way, the little helper kept to the sides as he shyly greeted the people and swept the floors, doing his morning chores while everyone entered the Chapel. Libra was not in right now, but he'd be back very shortly.

♥ || He was late in waking up-- It was the first time doing that in a while, and as such he had rushed getting dressed. Good thing his clothes were simple robes, and it was almost impossible to put them on backwards, but that did not mean he didn't look like he just rose from his sleep. He tried to press down his hair, to make it as neat as possible as he poked his head inside the room, spotting no one but Libra, who was reading. Well hopefully his little blunder wouldn't be noticed, and with a smile on his face he rushed forwards.
"Father." He'd breath, once he was at the man's side, though he kept his voice down just in case Libra wished to finish reading before speaking to the boy. He was eager to learn, but being so was not always the best huh? He was still learning, and he had much to be taught-- about their faith and his behavior overall, but surely he was slowly getting there.

ღ — The sun shone bright onto the window panes of the Cathedral, which reflected light into the building itself. Libra, as usual, was standing over top his pedestal reading religious scriptures of Naga. A long, crimson velveteen cloth draped over the pedestal as his thick, hard-covered bible stand atop, allowing him to read with ease. Flaxen locks stood in place as emerald hues moved side to side, carefully examining the print while mind memorizing each word by heart. Being so fascinated with the scriptures, he was oblivious to everything else around him.
A soft chuckle would escape his lips here and there as he read; his Goddess, Naga, was who made him wake up each morning with hope, who made him smile when all was wrong, who made him continue on living with such admiration from others. Some would even gossip that he, himself, were the incarnation of the great Naga herself. But of course, they were only wife tales.

♥ || Up went his head, as blue eyes locked onto the stranger's face, though instead of being rude and continuing to sweep, the child stood up completely straight and held the broom in both hands, a somewhat shy smile on his face. "Hello sir, can I help you?" He'd not yet noticed that he had been completely rude by ignoring the older boy's entrance.
╰♗╮ ⇢ Noting that he was unseen or undetected, the angel merely came to a halt before the other. No need to try and startle him, right? “Excuse me.” His words were soft as he stood to await a greeting or an acknowledgment of his being.

♥ || Sweeping up the Chapel was no big deal for the boy, broom in hand and eyes focused on his chore. He'd not notice, nor expect someone to come inside, and so he continued his work while rudely ignoring the stranger-- though, it's not his fault he's too focused on cleaning the floors.
