Ok one weird thought I have whenever I read a vigilante and/or hero fanfiction and they go into the “readers” apartment (specifically the bedroom) in their hero gear is, “Are you really in this bedroom in shoes that you’ve worn around some nasty city?!?!” Like it is such a pet peeve of mine cause you know those shoes are nasty and if they just climbed through your bedroom window they probably didn’t take off their shoes. But it’s funny cause if they did take off their shoes I would then just be weirded out cause they’re in this super hero costume in socks, so now the look is ruined? So basically im not complaining that the fanfiction author didn’t have them take off their shoes cause I would find it weird, but it’s still a thought I have cause I overthink everything lmao (I think if it’s the living room or something it’s more acceptable tho). Another observation I have is that the way smut is sometimes written makes it seem like they’re wearing no underwear (or ig maybe a jockstrap?) under their costume which in fanfiction world is fine, but in practice idk how comfortable that would be.

Ok so I’m just now watching Buffy the vampire slayer (I guess spoilers if you’ve never watched it lol) and I just finished season 2. Honestly like ik the police work is bad cause it’s a show and there needs to be stakes, but what police officer walks into a room and sees a girl crying over her dead friend (and Buffy has no visible weapons or blood on her, I think) and blames the former for the latters death immediately. ALSO Xander, Willow, Cordelia, AND Giles were all there so there’s multiple witnesses. I guess Xander and Cordelia were the only ones able to talk to the police, but why did they not? Obviously Buffy seems super suspicious cause she ran away and attacked the officer but even before that he was being super aggressive towards her. I think I’m just annoyed because they found Ms. Calendars body IN GILES’ BED and they barely seemed to suspect him, but they’ll be extremely aggressive to Buffy. Also I genuinely cannot stand the principal, you would think that since Buffy stops basically every problem on the hell mouth that he would cut her some slack. But I’m assuming it’ll be explained why he doesn’t later.

Like oh yeah I forgot that some people find it odd to not only watch a kids show but also to over analyze it 😅 I’ll just go hide in a corner now if it’s all the same to you (in this specific case I got shut down trying to talk about Danny phantom)
