i think it’s very on brand that annabeth is the one who tells percy he’s cute when he’s upset and not the other way around

so you know how jason shows up to chb and he had this close-cropped, short haircut which feels very roman of him tbh. i just think about percy rolling up to camp jupiter after living with wolves for three months with this long, shaggy, unruly hair and the romans (read: reyna) grab him and cut all his hair off immediately because thats the way they do things at camp jupiter and then when the argo ii arrives, jason has longer hair than anyone in new rome has ever seen it because he's let it grow out while he's been at chb and then percy has this really short haircut and annabeth sees it and she remembers jasons hair when he first got to chb and it's just... a moment
