Sauron’s crown looks different to me , doesn’t it look more like a Helmet crown ?? What are those things on the side ? Also the color is a bit different looks more shiny lol

The same weakness Hades had for Persephone can be said of Sauron’s for Galadriel.

There are so many similarities in their stories between Hades/Persephone and Sauron/Galadriel.

Could we see something similar play out in "The Rings of Power"? We know how the story ends, but there are many gaps that can be filled in with an interesting story, since the show decided to have Sauron and Galadriel meet and they have a history, I think they should just go for it. I truly believe it would be a compelling story to tell instead of sticking only to the stuff we already know.

I could definitely see Sauron creating Halbrand as a mortal version of his original Maiar form. Not to objectify Charlie, but Halbrand has the body of a Smith-Warrior, especially his muscular arms. Also, his hair has a reddish/auburn tone suited for a fire spirit/lesser god, and I can imagine as Mairon, his hair was even more fiery. And the heterochromia in his hazel eyes (green/gold/blue) remind me how a flame has different colors depending on the temperature.

Maybe he's just attached to his original form? I would be, too! He is a shapeshifter, so maybe this has just been his base form all along, and throughout his years as Sauron he has "appeared" with other faces and bodies to people he didn't want knowing that Sauron and Mairon were the same person. It's right up Sauron's alley to do something like that. "Oh, you saw me as Mairon. I'm not going to look like Mairon in front of you, then. That way you can't connect the dots."

By the time the Second Age has rolled around, there aren't any who would remember him as Mairon, save some of the much older Elves who might have crossed his path in Valinor or another Maia.

In the finale episode I noticed his hair looked redder. Different wig? It certainly was brighter and warmer, but I like the fire reference. It makes sense. He is a servant of the fire behind the forge in a way through his connection to Aulë. I never cared much for the interpretations of Sauron as a white-blond or even black-haired villain. Why's it always gotta be white-blond or black for him? Is everything else just too normal?

I'm honestly glad Tolkien never gave him any physical descriptions, save, "he's really tall, like super tall, and handsome - don't forget handsome." It leaves room for interpretation with his many forms.
