Tess left her home and safety to try to find a cousin she’d never really met and now lives in constant anxious fear of being found out so she can help her and someday bring her back to her father. It’s not a whole lot but it’s the only brave thing she’s done so far in her life.

Tess paced in her room. She’d slept maybe an hour thus far but she’d grown restless. Her bare feet were silent against her plush rug spread out across the hard wood floor, her long white-blonde hair braided over her shoulder. She had a lot on her mind, she didn’t know what to do. She only had a few short weeks before certain plans moved forward and things became a little more complicated.

Silently she crossed to her door, pausing when she heard the softest sound. Brows furrowed, she carefully opened her door just enough to peek out. Her features softened as her heart twisted, seeing the distraught figure of her cousin. However, Tess was not an emotional woman, she was unsure how to comfort someone nor if she even should. So just as quietly as she’d opened it, she closed her door and went back to her bed. She sighed, laying down and rolling to her back, staring up at the ceiling. What she would give for more clear answers as to what she was suppose to do.

In time it would come together. She hoped.

Hair: August has shaggy black hair that hangs just past the nape of his neck in the back and grazes his chin in the front.

Height: 5′5″. On the shorter side for a male Midlander. 

Build: August is slim with moderate muscle definition.

Distinguishing Marks: He has some minor scarring on his calloused hands, but those marks hardly stand out, especially when he is usually wearing work gloves of some kind. 

Common Accessories: August is never seen without his glasses or some kind of vision correcting (or magnifying) device. He is also usually seen wearing gloves, whether for the purpose or working or to spare people the touch of his heavily calloused hands. Whether he is wearing work clothes or not, he is never without tools. Just check his pockets.

Profession: Engineer, Inventor, and Machinist. Though, his forays into adventuring have been for the purpose of acquiring unique components for his work. 

Hobbies: Tinkering - Can work be a hobby, too? While not working on items commissioned from him, August spends much of his time tinkering with personal projects. Gambling - August has a thing for games of chance, usually to his detriment. Looking for Tech? - August sells his services as an inventor and engineer. He is skilled in creating all kinds of interesting things, but seems to specialize in firearms. Perhaps your character has purchased something from him or would like to? 

Gambling Man - August just can’t help himself when it comes to games of chance. He’s not an uncommon sight in places like The Gold Saucer. Perhaps your character has chatted with him while betting on chocobos? Maybe he owed you money once upon a time? Maybe you owe him?

About Me –––

I am fairly new to MMO RP, only been at it a little while. I am not new to RP in general, though. But, there a bit of a diference between the LARPing/Tabletop RP that I am used to and MMOs. So, there’s a bit of a learning curve. 

I am a big bundle of anxiety. It is much easier for me to interact with people online, but I still find myself dealing with nerves from time to time. This makes large RP events difficult as I usually won’t go without a buddy.

I prefer to RP in-game, but will also RP on Discord as well as back and forth Tumblr posts in the form of letters or something. 

I am open to roleplaying romance, but often prefer a fade to black approach to sexual encounters. I am not a fan of casual ERP. 

I am not looking for an FC currently, but would certainly be interested in both IC and OOC Linkshells as well as RP oriented Discord servers.  

I like getting to know my RP partners OOC. This isn’t a requirement or anything, I just enjoy Discord chit chat. 

I really do try my best to be approachable to everyone and I’d love to talk to you, even if we can’t come up with interactions or plots for our characters.

Timezone: CST.  I am usually available for RP most nights of the week after 7 PM. Though, I do most of my RP from 10 PM until 3 AM. I am available earlier on weekends. I have a lot of free time and can make most things work provided I have time to plan for it.
