one of my favorite things about horror is that he tries to convince everyone he has some moral high ground. no he doesn't. that's what he wants you to believe. he thinks he's so much better than his rivals because he "doesn't eat any humans." who created that system? who had that idea? who tricked people into believing it was the only solution?

he WANTS you to think he's the one in the right, but he's not. he thinks he's better than everyone else. when he isn't.

if you think he did nothing wrong, good! you just fell for the narrative he created.

i am absolutely not qualified, but i'll tell you what i've seen ^^; underverse, right? weren't cross and ink friends for a period of time? ok, what if ink didn't screw things up and cross and ink just ate soft tacos or something while i feel i underverse like became a.. jumping point for the ship. introducing the dynamic of wonder-lust and energy, ink, and cold soldier who's learning to relax, cross. while x-gaster controlled, refined, and regulated everything, ink embraced vibrancy and creativity, and that could appeal to cross it has a lot of domestic fluff/angst potential and screwing someone over so royally is just perfect for multidimensional angst :3c i hate that most of this is just me speculating, since it's not really a ship that interests me. BUT i hope this helped :}

can someone explain crink to me??? didn't like, ink massively screw cross over?? even if ink is mischaracterized in the series i still don't understand the ship. i think cross would slowly forgive him but i don't think they would be partners
