Field journal entry on American pokeweed from a couple of years ago. I painted the berries with actual crushed poke berries, but the color did fade over time.

Interesting! I appreciate your insight, honestly I should have done a bit more research before making a claim like this. I just trusted what I was told by an old professor, who may have been mistaken. Thank you for the correction. I probably should not have taken this feather.
I do live in a state where crows are very frequently killed en masse, unfortunately. There was a state department of wildlife and parks public meeting where a concerned citizen mentioned finding dozens of them shot dead in a state park. We have a lot of individuals with some outdated perspectives on wildlife and agriculture that we are working to help amend. I believe the bird whose feather I found passed from natural causes or a predator and was scavenged, as there were a lot of feathers spread out in the woods.
As a disclaimer and warning to anyone else who sees this post, while you’re not necessarily going to get in trouble for picking up a feather off of the ground, it is generally a bad idea to collect feathers that are from non-game birds (turkey, pheasant, etc. are okay) unless you’re a member of a Native American tribal community and they’re being collected for religious or ceremonial purposes. Even then, there are certain processes you have to go through in order to possess them.
Field journal entry on the American crow.
Note that collecting feathers of most migratory birds in the U.S. is illegal unless the bird is considered a game bird. Since crows are the only non-migratory non-game bird that is legal to hunt, it is not illegal to possess a crow feather.
Some people, especially farmers, consider crows pests, which is why they are legal to hunt. I still wouldn’t advise the killing of native species that don’t have a threateningly high population.

Anastrasya interrupted a funeral at the church in Vallaki, which we were attending alongside Ireena and Vasili. (Old comic I thought I'd reupload)

Two bards perform in the Blue Water Inn
I drew this when our Curse of Strahd campaign's bard (my character, Josemari) performed alongside Rictavio to raise some spirits in Vallaki.

Fun fact, I drew this picture exclusively so I could put it next to this post.
I have never put so much effort into a shitpost in my life.

REPLAY: VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE – BLOODLINES [6/?]
Pleasure meeting your acquaintance, but there are rumblings for me to discredit. We shall, I am certain, meet again. Or never again. Goodnight, young one... and be careful, you're very likely being hunted by the Sabbat.

“Ah, the depths to which I’ll sink to prove others wrong. The young ones get so temperamental. Fortunately for - Sebastian, is it? - I’d already made up my mind to open the sarcophagus, if only to show the city that Gehenna, contrary to popular belief, has not begun.”
