Y’all don’t know how much I want this man. Just.. look at him. Look at this.. short, perfect, southern man. You tellin me not only is this man sexy, but he has 11 PHDS? I’m sobbing rn. No I’m legitimately crying. Every time I read a fluffy or even spicy fanfic of Dell I combust into tears realizing he will never be real. He will forever have a place in my heart and a place on my tumblr. This blog would not be made possible if it weren’t for this fine man. I want to pick him up and carry him around everywhere. Yes, I am down horrendously for Dell. I can’t tell you why because even I don’t know, maybe it’s the fact that he wears his hat backwards. Or he builds machines and I also have a thing for building my own machines. Maybe it’s just the fact that he’s short and I love short men. Maybe it’s because I’m too much into tf2 and their characters. It’s their fault for making them so well written. But I’m rambling. So uh.. tf2 random crits am I right? haha..

had a dream that there was this new tiktok trend called "scrubbing" where people would take images of fictional characters and put them in images of bathtubs and drag around transparent pngs of soap and brushes with their tiktok art tablets and like liquify tool their hair down to mimic giving them a shower. and people would get into flamewars in the comments of every single video over the types of soap they picked and if the images had decently removed backgrounds and if they got soap in their eyes. and it got onto the news because it turned out everyone doing the trend was doing it compulsively like they physically couldn't stop and each video was a solid few minutes long because they were just collectively obsessively recording themselves fake-showering these fictional characters and arguing about it online

I've always loved masks for a number of reasons, and the idea of a strapless mask has always felt like something out of reach, but the septum clip is really a very clever idea. I'm curious how sturdy it is, how much motion it can withstand? And now my mind is swimming with other ideas on how a mask could affix, maybe with a bite guard, oh goodness.

Let's do some stress testing!

It stays pretty still during calm, controlled movements such as casual conversation. The wobble becomes more pronounced when I make more erratic movements, though, and when I start to really tilt my head you can tell that it begins to pivot around the point of attachment.

Still, a lot of this is due to the fit of the mask itself! I ended up overtrimming the edges a bit when taking it off the mold, but it still follows the contours of my face way more closely than an earlier iteration of this concept, which turned out super wobbly. I want to keep iterating on this technique to see how good of a fit I can achieve, though!
