The only true "ship" that should exist in the Wednesday series is Wednesday + becoming a morbid private detective.
I said what I said.

Oh the way they are treating Enid is annoying me so much. What have they done to my girl??? They made her a cheater, who cannot be bothered to properly talk it out with Ajax and is just straight up ghosting him, and they haven't made us connect with her at all. She's dying, and I don't feel afraid for her at all. Theyāve added no urgency to her impending doom. There's so many things happening that it's hard to care about her, and half the plot is about her ffs.
Also I hate Bruno. He could've been a lamp instead and nothing would've changed.
Love Bianca and Ajax together. Maybe they'll bond over how they're both a little lonely after Xavier's left but like I kinda ship em.

An Optimistic Analysis of Tyler and Wednesday's Relationship
There's been a lot of crashing out today, but I'm still feeling optimistic.
First, going back to one of the interviews, the showrunner said that Wednesday's relationship with Tyler was the closest she was going to get to love, and that's exactly what we saw.
Wednesday is obsessed with Tyler. She seriously considered the possibility of Tyler being behind the murders, even though he was locked away. That's kind of crazy. Then, it's revealed that she requested court approval to see Tyler weeks before any of the murders happened. She wanted "closure".Ā Closure? A girl who prides herself on burying all her feelings wants closure?
And then don't get me started on the way she insulted Tyler. She calls his looks āgenericā and his barista skills āsubpar.ā She's deliberately attacking her attraction to him and their good memories together at the Weathervane. She's clearly still in love with him, and it hurts her. She played Prokofiev's compositionĀ Romeo and JulietĀ with so much pain that the music teacher commented on it.
Moving onto Tyler, he still loves her too. There's hope from his side too that Weyler could happen.
In the first scene, we first saw the Hyde part of Tyler, up until Donovan's death is mentioned. He was sinister and manipulative but also happy to see her. Thereās a bit of warmth in āI knew your morbid curiosity would bring you here.ā He knows Wednesday. He still thinks about her. Heās angry with her, but thatās not the only emotion he feels.
Even before this, the Hydeās always been attracted to Wednesday. At the dance, when Wednesday says sheād throw the bullies to the piranhas again, the Hyde says, āI knew there was a reason I liked you", and they dance. That is telling framing: they bonded over violence, and then they almost kissed.
But is there any of the ānormieā Tyler left that could counteract the evil? Yes! When Wednesday blames him for Donovanās death, he looks sad and regretful for a moment, and his response, āYou got me, Wednesday, Iām a criminal mastermind pulling the strings from in here,ā is bitter sarcasm that reminds me of the old Tyler. Think back to the scene of Tyler and his dad in the second episode. When his dad abandons him again, Tyler yells after him, "Oh geez, Dad, I thought weād catch the big game and fire up the grill". Thereās a bit of our old Tyler there!
Now is the point where youāre probably thinking,Ā he fucking defenestrated her.Ā How do we come back from that? It stumped me a lot too, but whatās helped me is first considering how he tried to kill he (if he tried to kill her at all, anyway). The Hydeās MO has been to use its claws to slash its victims, and serial killers donāt usually change their MO. But here, we have Wednesday thrown through a window. Why is that?
The second thing is that heĀ hesitated. He stared at her without making any motion to hurt her. He did this too back in the forest in the season one finale. He pulled her closer to him, internally debating something. Thereās a part of Tyler that wants her dead, and another part that still loves her, but the violent part of himself keeps winning out. We have no idea if he can hold back the monster.
That brings us to my final point: how few scenes Tyler has had. We mostly hear about Tyler from external sources. Sheriff Galpin sees the son he could still save, Wednesday sees a monster through and through, Dr. Fairburn believed he could be rehabilitated, and Thornhill saw a monster she thought she could control. This is very fitting for a Hyde, but none of that is the real him. We know nothing yet of what heās going to do or how he feels. But there is one thing that should give us hope:
When he escaped Willowhill, he didnāt try to kill anyone. He threw them aside and ran into the night. Maybe he just wants to be free of the past (thatās actually the narration over Tylerās part in the teaserāāwhat we are really haunted by is our pastā). Thatās not a villain arc. Thatās the seeds of a redemption arc. Now that Tyler is free, he can decide who he really is: the monster or the boy who could be redeemed and find his way to love again.
Finally, remember that the official merch was a t-shirt that saidĀ Love is Torture.Ā Thatās whatās making me think Iām not just hallucinating. Weyler could still happen!!!

I know a lot of people are freaking out over Tyler potentially throwing Wednesday out a frickin window....
But is it wrong that all I can think about, is that is literally the type of insane story an Addams would tell their kids?
Like really picture it.
Wednesday and Tyler are talking to their teens about relationships.
Wednesday: You know, relationships are difficult I mean I got your dad locked up in a psychiatric hospital.
Tyler: And I threw your mother out a window, we called it even.

Maybe Iām sick and twisted but I find Enidās inability to break up with Ajax (making her a lowkey cheater cuz she made out with Bruno before officially ending things) worse than Tyler being a killer.
Before I lose you let me explain.
Tyler was forced to kill. He is dealing with a part of himself he literally cannot control yet, and somehow he manages to only maim Eugene and only defenestrate Wednesday. (Irl those sentences are extreme but in the Addamsverse those really arenāt a big deal). He says macabre things and is manipulative, but so is Wednesday. He doesnāt say things to hurt he says things to shock people and push them away.
And I love Enid, but she was just so brutal to Ajax. She saw he was trying to reach out and hurting and she flirted with Bruno in front of him. She made him feel stupid. She was truly inconsiderate of his feelings. Yes, her insecurity is playing a part in this but it just seems so crazy how she switched up on Ajax and didnāt give him the closure of a breakup and accused him of only like her insecure self. The funny thing is I think this season she is more insecure wanting to fit into the pack, cuz in her head she should now, but I donāt think she actually feels it.
Like Tyler being murderous and evil makes sense in a gothic romance cuz itās all in sake of character arc and romancing Wednesday (itās meant to be twisted). But Enid being cruel to Ajax made no sense for who she is or for who he is. Idk it made me feel so heartbroken for him cuz it didnāt have rhyme or reason.
But thatās probably it too, Enidās actions were really uncomfortable cuz they are way more likely to happen in the real world and she wonāt get that much flack cuz we can always compare her to evil monster Tyler (poor guy is always a scapegoat for others bad actions).

As a queer girl Enid was one of my fictional crushes but this season has ruined her for me.
Her behavior this season was far more inexcusable to me than Tyler commiting murder. Tyler was groomed and had no free will initially. He has done bad stuff but it can be explained as him being traumatized. His morality is messed up plus he is being treated as a villain/toxic romance while Enid is the sweet best friend.
Unlike him, Enid, no matter how severe her mommy issues are and how insecure she is, has absolutely no reason to cheat and lie just because she thought the conversation with Ajax would be too difficult.
Worse, she seems to feel no guilt for her behavior. She has more of a pitying attitude towards Ajax being hurt instead of caring that she is the one hurting him.
