The NDS is 20 years old now. It's one of my fav pieces of tech I've ever owned. To be fair I prefer the 3DS since its backwards compatible but I owe it all to the DS.
There are so many incredible games in the DS library with a tonne having very unique play styles due to the dual screen and stylus. I'm still trying to get through as many games as possible but having a switch makes it difficult since I always pick that up to play instead.
Anyone else love the NDS?

IT'S TIME FOR A NEW DEATH GENERATOR! With something between like two weeks and 6 years in the making, it's Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for the GBA! (2004).
This one required SO MUCH FUCKING WORK. Like, I've partially disassembled the game, patched out dozens of functions to change how it renders, had to use two different emulators (including porting functionality from one to the other), and ran the game (automatically) approximately two thousand times. And then to name the characters, I had my lovely wife @mrsfoone do a spreadsheet that listed them all and matched 'em up with the 241 faces in this silly, silly game.
Even if you've not played the game, this is a fun one to play with: There's all kinda of Final Fantasy and Disney characters in here.

PJ by Sega Enterprises, Ltd. (1980). P.J. Pizzazz was Sega's answer to Atari's Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre. "The first P.J. Pizzazz was opened in West Covina, California's Eastland Center shopping mall in June 1980. Each venue contained pinball machines, Skee-Ball, and "Hit City", an area where customers could play the latest upright arcade machines. For one token, children could play in a ball pit or bounce in an inflatable bounce house. Pizza was made and served in the restaurant area of the venue, and Dixieland bands, cartoonists and magicians would perform regularly. Also featured were giant television screens for sporting events, films and announcements. The chain also had a mascot, a simple animatronic robot character named "P.J." who mingled with guests and delivered them personalized messages during their visit." – Sega Retro

bought a new printer for the first time in like 15 years. walmart quit selling ink for my ancient inkjet printers (i have like five that use the same ink) so i got the most basic laser printer they had. no scan, no fax, no copy. black and white only, i can do all that with my old printer still. all the documentation insists it must be connected to wifi and you must install the app. i plugged a usb cable into windows xp and opened legacy update and what do ya know theres drivers available no app and no wifi required.
edit: they didn't install for some reason.
