Loving these new maps. So beautiful. all the purple helps my main shine as a thief who’s main colors are purple/black/green. Haven’t ever seen a MMO with such beautiful maps. That more than anything is what has kept me interested in gw2 for so long.

I gave up guild wars 2 some time ago when my posts stopped. Going to post some screens from around Heart of thorns which I never finished. Honestly I can’t wait to come back but I have been way too busy with work.

It has been getting colder and colder. The wind yesterday was so intense it blew over a powerline and we lost power throughout sections of the city. I was unable to log in or do my daily that day which saddens me a bit.

After having discovered gliding one of my first adventures was on the jungle floor. Of course without the use of updrafts I was doomed to eventually flutter downward into the roots. For whatever reason I was able to survive on them and not die. I got some interesting screens out of it but it was otherwise empty and there was nowhere to go. The floor is lava I guess.

I am slowly conquering this map. Good thing too because there is still so much content to complete. Though It is much less economical to clear things slowly that is the pace I am stuck with. Progress though slow, is continual and my spirits are strong. Soon we will have raids and new legendary weapons and I cannot wait.

This is what I call the Pre-gliding woes. I had reached a peak, an edge of the land where I could see so much more to explore. Though I had not grown enough to explore beyond this cliff-hanger and could not glide to the many places I saw ahead. Now having mastered some new abilities, this moment is a fond memory and reminder of the progression I had made, but there are still many new challenges and abilities to master that will bring me further and deeper into this world.

Just here to poke some frogs in the butt.. I absolutely hate the staff animations for Druid...... Though I did get this one cool picture. Some of the particle effects are nice and those roots are very druid like but for the most part I cannot stand the way druid’s swing the staff around.
