You dragged your feet on the ground, rubbing the exhaustion from your eyes as best as you could. Your eyelids drooped down, threatening to shut completely over your eyes and lead you to sleep.

You can't remember the last time you've had proper sleep ever since you stepped foot on the Tulpar. You've had trouble staying awake, yet you couldn't even take a nap.

You don't understand why you can't sleep for more than two hours. Seriously, you keep waking up in the middle of the night, either by nightmares or simply because fate has other plans for you.

At least you had Daisuke.

The way his smile would click something in your brain and instantly power you on, matching his energy. He could easily brighten up your day, even when you felt dull.

"Good morning!" Daisuke beamed, immediately grinning as he saw you entered the room.

"Morning..." You muttered, forcing yourself to smile back, barely managing.

"Not 'good'?" He tilted his head to the side, noticing your tired expression.

"If it was good I would be sleeping." You mumbled in a flat tone, taking a seat next to him.

"What's wrong?" He asked, genuinely concerned at the way you were so drained out.

"It's hard to sleep... I don't know why or how, I just can't." You explained, furrowing your brows. "I'm tired, but I just can't..." You added, gazing in front of you as you zoned out.

Daisuke only gave a head nod in response, smile faltering for a bit. He didn't like seeing you in such a state, he just had to figure out how to make you feel better.

"Maybe you can get Anya to check on you." He suggested, gently wrapping an arm around your waist loosely to keep you closer to him.

"It's not worth it... I'll just waste her time." You replied, closing your eyes but to no avail. You knew you had work to do, had to force yourself to stand up and do your chores. It was just so hard...

You turned in your bed from side to side, forcing your eyes closed as you tried to control your breath and count sheep, hoping that you'd fall asleep that way.

Just then, you heard a soft click, and then a creak coming from the door. Light came in through the crack, revealing Daisuke's smiling face.

"Daisuke? What's wrong?" You asked in a hushed tone, sitting up on your elbows to look at him. You squinted your eyes due to the blinding light as Daisuke made his way into your room and shut the door silently.

"I can't sleep either." He shrugged with a big, dorky grin on his lips. He started walking towards you with light steps, just so that he's not being too loud to alert any other crew member.

"So... Why not try to fall asleep together?" He suggested, silently making his way over in your bed as it shifted under his weight.

You chuckled at him, watching as he layed down with open arms, waiting for you to throw yourself into him so he can cuddle with you.

You shook your head, pulling the blanket over the two of you as you placed your head on his chest, throwing one of your legs over him as his arm wrapped loosely around you.

His body was so warm, the embrace you two were in felt heavenly, and you certainly didn't want to pull away from it.

You felt your eyes close themselves, feeling Daisuke's chest rise up and down from his soft breathing.

You could hear the way his heartbeat was increasing, his hand gently rubbing circles on your back while you were slowly drifting to sleep under his touch.

If you knew it was this easy, you would've done this from the start.

- Every single time he'd wake up, you wouldn't be next to him. You would be baking whatever types of delicious food you'd make.

- The moment you would see him, you'd give him one of your tasty and freshly made sweets, wich he would eat with no problem!!

- Tomioka cares for you, and loves you soooo much... The treats are just a bonus to him.

- He would just be sitting down, finally relaxing after a long and tiresome day, and all of the sudden, you would pop a treat in his mouth.

- Giyuu would savour it, he just loves the fact that you care for him this way, making sure he always gets to eat at least one of your sweets!!

- Although sometimes, he thinks you're tiring yourself out. He appreciates that you always bring him treats, but he thinks that it's exhausting, and he doesn't want you to force yourself to bake several sweets just for him!!

- Overall, Giyuu appreciates the gesture. Even if he rarely says anything about it, he tries to praise your skills.

Finally, Giyuu came back home. He went on a mission, although it was only one day. He managed to finish quickly, faster than usual. But you weren't complaining! You loved it when he came back home early. You had baked some treats, even if you weren't expecting him. You made quite a lot of them, so it's pretty much perfect timing! They were freshly made, and you couldn't wait to give Giyuu the tasty sweets you've prepared!

The moment he was inside the house, you flung across the room and into his arms. Giyuu gave a small smile at your excitement, a rare gesture that you cherished so much. You grabbed his hand and forced him to sit down and wait.

"I'm glad you're here! I just finished baking... They're freshly made!" You spoke, eager as you placed a small tray of sweets in front of him.

Giyuu raised his brows, but smiled nonetheless.

"Thank you... These are my favourite ones. I love it when you make them." He spoke, voice barely above a whisper. You nodded, pushing the tray closer to him.

"No problem! Eat them!" You smiled at him as he picked up one of the treats, placing it into his mouth. He savoured every single bite of the delicious treat. The way it would melt in his mouth... It was so sweet, it was perfect.

He smiled gently, looking at you with love in his eyes. You could melt right there, right in that spot. You loved how he would look at you so dearly... Moments like these were the ones you loved most. You barely saw Tomioka crack a smile, but when you did, you made sure that the image would print right into your mind.

★SANEMI

- He loved it.

- Sanemi found it so special, wich is why he would always get excited whenever you baked for him.

- Although sometimes, being the jerk he is, he would disapprove of your treats. He would deny liking it, calling it bland. But in fact, he found them delicious, though he'd NEVER admit that. Not to you, not to anyone.

- The fact that he would say it's not good at all, then proceed to eat all of them would amuse and assure you.

- You knew he was lying, that was probably one of the reasons why you kept baking for him!!

- But sometimes, he would show his appreciation. Not enough, but he would. He'd mutter a "thank you" and maybe add in a "it's good", but nothing more than that.

- He loves you, but he doesn't wanna seem like a coward in front of you and start praising the tasty sweets you would prepare just and just for him!!

- One time, after Sanemi went a little overboard with his insults and called your treats disgusting, saying that he despises eating them, you went on a treat ban.

- You refused to bake anything for him, and Sanemi REGRETED his life decisions.

- He instantly dropped his mean demeanor, eyes widening. He felt disappointed... But not in you, in himself.

- After a few days of not getting the taste of your special sweets, he decided to apologize. That was the first time in your life where you saw Sanemi apologize.

- You laughed at him, wich got him embarrassed. You accepted his apology, gifting him a few treats.

Sanemi was getting ready to leave for a mission. He wasn't exactly sure how much it would last, but he thought that it could have him gone for a week or so.

Before he could step out of the house, you popped up in front of him. It was so weird how he couldn't feel your presence or hear you walking behind him...

He raised a brow, looking at you in confusion. You smiled at him, giving him a basket, wich he guessed was full of treats you've made for his mission.

"No way, I'm not taking this with me." He replied to your gesture as you pushed the basket up in his face, your eyes narrowing.

"Why not?!" You asked, shaking the basket as it made a sound, indicating the fullness of fresh sweets.

It was tempting... He could smell them, the fresh, tasty smell. He could even taste them! He felt his mouth water, thinking about it in hesitation.

"Because I don't wanna carry that around with me! Not only is it embarrassing, but what if a demon attacks me and I have that stupid basket in my hands?!" He shouted, not in a rude way.

"Embarrassing? Okay, I get it. Well then, I'll just eat these myself. Have fun on your stupid, tiring mission!" You smiled at him as you finished your small speech, about to walk past him.

He expected you to put up a fight, to keep pressuring him to take it, but you didn't.

"Wait, no- I-..." He stuttered, grabbing your shoulder to stop you. "Fine, I'll take your stupid treats." He admited defeat, taking the basket from your hands.

"That's what I thought." You took one of the sweets from the basket, holding it up to Sanemi's lips. He opened his mouth, wanting to tell you that he WILL NOT do that, but before he could, you forced the treat into his mouth.

He glared at you, but still ate it. He had to admit, it was delicious. The taste of it lingered in his mouth.

He loved you.

- When I tell you he found this special, I really mean it.

- Obanai loved the fact that you baked for him. He loved the fact that you tried your best for him.

- Before he would go on a mission, you'd always be there, feeding him yourself. He feels so cared for, so loved...

- After successful missions, you would make his favourite treats. He would savour every bite, praising your skills.

- Unlike Sanemi, he would always show how grateful he is. Obanai would make his appreciation very clear, wich might seem pretty surprising due to his usual personality when he's with others.

- You know what he would die to do? Bake with you. He doesn't know anything whatsoever, has pretty much no skills in baking, but he wants to try.

- He wants you to teach him.

- Whenever he's not on a mission and has a day off, he will be baking with you. He's actually invested, and wants to learn how to make your favourite sweets!!

- Before being in a relationship, you used to gift him treat baskets. He adored the gesture, and when I tell you he was crushing on you...

You were walking back inside the house, having come back from a small town. There were preparations for a festival, but it seemed pretty boring for now. You wanted to invite Obanai so you two could go togheter tomorrow night when the festival starts.

You entered the house, no sight of Obanai. Although you noticed Kaburamaru slithering around, so you figured that he's home for sure, and didn't leave anywhere.

You walked into the kitchen... And there he was. Obanai was covered in flour, some ingredients scattered around. He looked confused and frustrated at the same time, pacing around. He was so focused he didn't even notice you make your way next to him.

"Obanai?" He jumped at the sound of your voice calling out his name. He turned to you, not saying anything, just looking around.

"What are you doing?" You asked, raising one of your eyebrows as you stared at him.

"I thought you were supposed to be gone for another hour or so..." He mumbled quietly, finally looking into your eyes, a blush creeping on his cheeks, wich you couldn't see due to his mask.

"It got pretty boring, I left early. There's nothing to do there, there's barely any people and they're just making preparations for tomorrow night." You informed, holding your pointer finger up as to emphasize your words.

Obanai nodded, bummed out a bit. "I tried..." His brows furrowed togheter, glancing away. You loved his soft spot, the moments when he was an actual softie.

"Tried what? Making a mess? Because you sure managed." You joked, looking around the messy room, noticing something that caught your eye...

He... He was making your favourite sweets!!

"You-" He looked at you as you cut off your sentence, your lips forming a smile. He hoped you wouldn't be genuinely disappointed or upset, but the smile reassured him that you were actually happy.

"You tried making my favourite treat? Obanai, that's so sweet!" You put your hands up to your own cheeks, resting them there as you felt your cheeks heat up.

"Yes, but I-..." He hesitated. He couldn't find the right words. 'Messed up'? No... 'Couldn't do it'? Maybe...

"What matters is that you tried! You wanted to do this, didn't you? That's the sweetest thing ever!" You exclaimed, grabbing onto his arm.

"Here, I'll help you. But first, let's clean this mess." You spoke, smiling at him. He nodded, a small smile forming on his lips as well, unfortunately covered by his mask.

(A/N): I finally managed to write the first fanfic of the Halloween List and uh it could've been better... This is so cringe and I had second hand embarassment while writing this, it's also just straight up rushed and it's sooo bad (⁠ᗒ⁠ᗩ⁠ᗕ⁠) -> halloween m.list

Finding you hiding in the woods under the shadows was something Giyuu wasn't expecting. He wanted to behead you at first, but you weren't a demon... He truly thought you were one, but you seemed different. He didn't believe in vampires, for him, those were just children's tales. But once he confirmed you were one, he couldn't help but bring you home. The rules are that you must behead demons, but they never mentioned anything about vampires, did they?

You were beautiful, extremely ethereal in Giyuu's point of view, not that he'd care about looks. You didn't attack him, you seemed scared a little, and somehow friendly.

And that's what brought you here, in his mansion.

Tomioka left on a mission, leaving you all alone in his home. He didn't think much of the consequences, because you promised that you'll stay put and be good. The only problem was that he's been gone for 7 days already.

You felt like you were starving. Giyuu usually took you outside at night and you would hunt down for anything but humans, according to Tomioka and his orders.

He told you to stay inside, hide, and not leave no matter what. You clawed on the wooden floor as you sat in a corner, your long nails leaving scratch marks. You couldn't keep going like this, desire filled you, hunger, need, you name it.

The most you've gone without feasting onto something was about two days, but this was something else. A whole week was too much, and you couldn't just simply keep control.

You tried calming yourself down, counting, but the more you did so, the more you could feel your mind blur, dizzy, nauseous, it felt all so horrible.

Your lips formed a frown, before parting slightly, revealing your sharp teeth. You felt a painful ache in your head, only feeding onto the hunger.

You swore, promised yourself, that the first living being you'd see, you would feast upon it.

Just then, you heard the door slide open. You couldn't lower your hunger, as you quickly forced yourself to your feet. You ran to the door, only to be met with Giyuu, who just placed his sword in its place.

"What...?" He asked in a hush tone, raising a brow as he noticed how feral you looked.

You knew better than to attack him, but you just couldn't help it.

You slowly took a few steps towards him, your teeth exposed, eyes wide and filled with desire. Giyuu noticed that, almost instantly. He didn't want to hurt you, but if he truly needed to, he would.

All of the sudden, you rushed towards him, and all he could do was move aside as quickly as he could. After that, he immediately grabbed your wrists, so fast that you couldn't even prevent it. His grip was tight, and no matter how hard you tried, you couldn't escape.

You bared your fangs with a snarl, and that helped him understand. You were hungry, maybe too hungry. So hungry that he knew he didn't have time to let you hunt outside.

He noticed the look in your eyes. If you had a heart, it would pound out of your chest while you'd be blushing like crazy.

You forced your face closer to him, almost like a snapping turtle, your arms twitching as they tried to break free from Giyuu's hold.

"Stop this." He demanded. his voice still quiet. His brows were furrowed together, staring at you.

You felt your knees buckle. Was it his voice that was making you feel like this? Was it just being bossed around or being thrown orders at, making you feel this way?

"Please-" You managed to stutter out, your eyes widening. You had to taste him and his blood, you wanted his blood, you wanted him, you needed him.

"I need-" You tried to stop resisting, struggling to hint at what you desired.

He understood quickly, but he shook his head. No way could he ever let you taste his blood, not only would that possibly weaken him (not that he didn't already waste a ton of energy while on his mission), but the mark from your teeth would be pretty visible and not easy to hide.

"Please!" You begged, eyes wide and pleading. You let out a huff, now struggling against his grip again. You didn't want to hurt him, to cause him pain, but you couldn't hold yourself back.

Giyuu glanced to the side, his lips parting slightly as his eyes softened a bit. He was thinking about it now, considering if this was the best thing he could do aside from tying you up.

He sighed, gazing back to your pleading face. He couldn't resist it, with your pouty lips, wide, glossy eyes and just straight up feral look.

His grip loosened a little, but not enough to let you attack him. He tilted his head to the side, allowing space for you to taste him.

Your eyes widened before quickly softening. You slowly got your face closer to him, before licking up his neck, finding the spot that you wanted to bite into.

He flinched at your actions, the hairs on the back of his neck standing up. He wasn't used to somebody licking up his neck like this.

You couldn't help but softly place a kiss on his neck, wich caused him to blush furiously.

Your teeth slowly grazed his skin, causing a shiver to go up his spine. You let your teeth sink in, breaking the flesh as you started drawing blood.

Giyuu bit onto his lips, closing his eyes shut as he placed a hand on the small of your back, the other on your head, completely letting you go now, all free.

You took a nice amount of blood, slowly pulling away and wiping your lips, taking a look at his red face, all while he took heavy breaths. The blood was trickling from the bite, and that made it look more appetizing. You couldn't help but pull him harshly against you, licking up the wound while he tried his best to surpress his noises.

The smell of his blood, let alone the taste of it, was better than you could've imagined. You wanted- no, needed more.

You let your fangs sink in once more, while he just took ahold of your hair and pulled on it, causing your neck to snap back and your lips to leave his neck. You let out a whine, your hands on his shoulders as you dug your nails deep, earning a groan from him.

"More!" You demanded, struggling to get another taste of his delicious blood.

In all of your years as a vampire, you've never drank blood that was just so purely tasty. The way it would slowly flow into your mouth was heavenly, and you wanted as much as you could take.

"You've taken enough." He replied, voice barely above a whisper and surprisingly calm. His eyes were narrowed as he kept you in the same position, your back arching as he tugged harshly on your hair once more.

"More, please!" Your nails dug deeper into his shoulder as he let out a hiss, quickly grabbing both of your wrists with his free hand while keeping your head back and away from his neck.

You needed more, you really did. It was too good to just go to waste like that, to not get drank. It was delicious, and you needed more.

Your thighs were unconsciously rubbing together, trying to pull your head back up and into his flesh again, but to no avail.

"I'll do anything, just please!" You begged, looking completely ridiculous.

Giyuu took another look at you, eyeing you up and down. He let out a huff, getting closer to you, his exposed neck in front of you yet again.

You took no time and immediately feasted once more, drinking as much as he'd let you, licking up his wound, admiring the beautiful red and purple marks that you trailed down to his collarbone. You nibbled, licked and bit his skin more times than you could count, and all he did was sit there and take it, only letting out a few sighs or gasps that were barely audible.

No matter how many times he'd pull away, how many times you've bit onto him, how many times you got a taste of his blood, you still asked for more.
