ME AGAIN because i CANNOT help it. but god am i excited for lewis' reaction to logan and nico being her manager. esp when she joins the grid. i don't know if lewis will join but with how similar (because they really do) nico and logan is, like it must be so trippy and nostalgic for lewis. i wonder if he'll be fond of logan in a way? in his mind, she'll be the closest thing to nico he had. brocedes man 😔

Honestly, this dynamic is something I've thought a lot about, and in short, this time it won't be Nico that's freaked out by a young gun rookie, but Lewis 😜

Lewis would have soooo many mixed feelings about it. Yeah, the Brocedes fallout happened a long while ago at this point and Lewis has seemingly gotten over it with tons of therapy. But then being confronted with Nico managing someone like Logan, who mirrors Nico in both character (smart, calculating, driven) but also appearance, would bring up all the memories again but also leave him severely confused.

Because there's no way Nico would have fathered a daughter while they were karting and not told Lewis, right?! But then again, it's Nico and he loves mind games, so what does he know? So in the beginning we'll most definitely have a hightly confused Lewis Hamilton, that is convinced that Logan is the second coming of Christ (Nico). which she is in a sense, but not quite that literally

But he sees her drive, he sees her interact with Oscar, Yuki and Liam but also with Nico himself (and Jenson for that matter) and he realizes that although Nico is managing her and there are so many parallels, she's still her own person and he respects her talent, her work ethic, her resillience - especially as a woman in motorsports.

Would Lewis ever admit any of this out loud? Probably not. 😅 Would Lewis ever join the Team™? Also probably not. But maybe he'll be the gay uncle 🤷‍♀️ Could Logan be a tool to bring on the big Brocedes Reunion of 2024? We'll see ;)

Sorry, it's been awhile since I was able to have access to this... Thank you for the swift response during the time I sent the previous message. As for quick answers, the orphan would like to remain anonymous, preferably if you wanted someone to get mad at than it most likely would be me. I'm glad such a precious heirloom would get back to you. Someone close to me said it would be worth to get that money you offered, but please do keep it for yourself. I'm perfectly wealthy, and Bailey has... power over certain people who aren't well off. It's hard to ignore, so I think you know what I mean. It's best not to mention it here. helloooo! i'm working on a reply to your reply on notes (because yes) but i would love to know why you made logan be an older sister to a younger sister instead of a younger brother. it definitely fits girl! logan, being the eldest daughter, i think daughters tend to be burdened about family a lot more since we are so hyperaware of things. but a younger sister is interesting!

sunnie, I could kiss you <3 always coming around with the interesting questions, I really had to think about this one.

Bc tbh i never really thought about it. it just felt right writing it. now that i had a minute to think about why my brain wrote what it wrote, i think it has two reasons.

very boring but very valid in my opinion, i didn't want Logan to just be surrounded by male characters

with a younger brother girl!Logan might've fallen into a caretaker role as the only daughter of the family and not have followed her dreams of becoming a racecar driver

As you said, daughters often are pushed into upholding family values and such, so i feel if Logan had a younger brother, Dalton would've picked up karting, Logan too, but as soon as the hypothetical younger brother would've picked an interest, she would've taken a step back. because yeah they are good situated, but karting is still expensive, so let "the boys" have this shared interest.

Also with a younger sister, the burden of upholding family values is shared between them. yes, logan still bears the brunt of those duties, especially with big bro Dalton still in the mix, but she has enough room to be herself, an individual person, and not just "the caretaker".

i adore girl! logan, like if she has zero fans then i'm dead! so seeing the update made my day amidst midterms season, so thank you!

but yes, i looooooove hearing logan's thought process and i also love how quickly she soaks in all the information that she is given. because logan isn't taken seriously and probably doesn't get the same attention from other people as her male counterparts. so i feel her hunger this chapter— that hunger for good advice especially from someone like jenson; that hunger to get her name out there by taking a chance with an upstart hire and her hunger to be on top of the podium. god, i am so excited for her to take the world by storm (even more because she is already an icon).

and also, having logan have the (potentially but probably) backing of nico and jenson is perfect. especially nico, who has been an advocate for women in sports and a certified girl dad. i think having them, two world champions, as an immediate well of knowledge is making me so giddy. i think nico will be her biggest defender (besides her family and sister ofc), will not let journalists or the hosts to doubt or discredit her in typical rosberg energy.

If I didn’t have fem!Logan I’d probably gone completely insane tho, but the break is generally treating me well. Nevertheless I’m ready to watch this gaggle of men drive in squiggly circles again. Also manifesting for Logan to get an Indycar seat, I was sooo happy when he finally posted on Instagram again today about his whereabouts 😍

You’re right, if boy Logan felt kinda lonely and starved for attention, it’s unfortunately ten times worse for fem!Logan. She has to be a sponge in that regard, because even though she knows the future, she cannot say if the people that helped her along the way the first time, will do it this time around too. That’s why she hit up Nico, because she knew that since he’s that champion for women in sports, the likelihood that he would help her, would be high.

I don’t want to diminish the role he’ll play in the story, but he was a kinda fail-safe for Logan in the case Jenson would’ve said no. Again, with Jenson too, she knew the likelihood would’ve been high that he would help, but this Logans fail-safes have fail-safes have fail-safes. The prerequisite for her taking revenge at James is getting into F1 which is currently her highest objective.

Also, on the topic of Logan’s grid parents. You’ve nailed it completely. Nico has birthed Logan himself and he will not accept slander of any kind towards her. That’s his daughter for all he is concerned, the heir to the Rosberg dynasty, nobody will discredit her 💅And Jense is the quintessential proud father. He’ll do anything to make his daughter happy. Also he’d definitely put Mark and Nando on babysitting duty if he’s off racing Le Mans or something 🤭

2020 will bring the rise of the Prema Trio™️ and probably a little bit of jealousy by our resident Kiwi bc social distancing bans him from seeing Logan as much and Yuki’s off to F2 (so he doesn't even have anyone he can cry to in person about it). But I’ll make up for it with them trying their hand at streaming, since the pandemic will still be a thing

Yeah, Logan is a planner and she definitely had to learn the hard way that she has to be strategic in how she approaches things. But only because she doesn't jump straight into action, it doesn't mean that she will let people push her around if that makes sense?

The trio shares their last brain cell tbh and as soon as L² join Yuki in F1, it will be M A Y H A M. The world is not ready, I tell you 😭

Yeah, half the grid is crushing hard on Logan whether they are aware of it or not. I mean she is a girl that is around often (duh). Who shares their biggest passion. (double duh). And is clearly talented (girl!Logan has also won the Karting championship in 2015. There are pictures of her with greats such as Max and Nico and Lewis!!!). Plus she's cute on top of that.

But how would you approach such a girl without looking like a total fool? So they stay away and if somebody decides to go up to her, Logan mistakes their clear interest as friendly smalltalk (poor little Logan doesn't understand that Europeans - and anybody else except Americans for that matter - DON'T DO smalltalk 😭😭)

That brings me to Oscar, because boy is smitten (Loscar was always endgame in my head tbh). Because in his head, Logan is the most incredible woman he has ever met. And in his opinion he has been incredibly obvious in communicating his feelings, i.e. give her heart eyes whenever she's yaping about her newest hyper fixation, joking around with her, telling her about his family.

But Logan being Logan is just happy to have another friend and is more concerned in making up for being a bad friend to Oscar later in her first life. So until either Oscar gets his act together and actually DOES something (which will not happen prior to the Alpine disaster, I am so sorry 🙈) or Nicole Piastri plays Cupid, they'll just keep on being good friends.

🩵 anon's insights are so chefs kiss. but i can definitely see the dilemma that logan of liking primarily women in her previous time as a man and boom, suddenly liking men. so i always just assumed she would be bi? and the shovel talk with nico and jenson is so hilarious to me because i can never take them seriously sometimes. nico's shovel talk is definitely more veiled insults; passive aggressive; makes you second-guess if he's actually insulting you.

also 🩵 anon brought up an excellent point that we will probably see oscar be so down bad early on. i feel the second hand embarrassment already because logan isn't clocking it because she is just doing things second nature around oscar because he is her bestfriend! and fred thinking that they like each other is so funny to me. i can see loscar telling him that they're dating and he's like "i thought you've been dating 😟"

ALSO, never crossed my mind— yknow the grid's dynamic with logan changing because he was hardly seen hanging out with others outside oscar and alex. so, i do think that it'll still be like that since journalists will probably conjure up a dating rumor with every single driver and logan. and logan using yuki or liam or oscar (mostly yuki because those two will combust) as a maybe boyfriend as mentioned.

Let me tell you, Nico Rosberg shovel talks are no joke. There are the cutesy, sugarcoated passive aggressive ones at the beginning (on air or in person) and there are the "I will kill you and the next five generations after you" ones if you didn't listen the first time. Britney is the Godfather of F1. You cannot tell me, that this highly intellectual, incredibly well connected and very charming long time resident of Monaco wouldn't get away with grievous bodily harm or the occasion murder (is it obvious, that my favourite Nico AU is MafiaBoss!Nico?). Jenson on the other hand....yeah, not very intimidating 💀

Listen, Fred will one day officiate their wedding and wax on and on about everything they put him through, by first acting like a couple while not dating and later straight on acting like (in his opinion) best friends when they finally got their shit together. Also that they'll be served with court papers suing them for emotional distress after the ceremony.

Yeah, at one point Logan is so fed up how nobody outside her circle wants to associate much with her since the media is fabricating on-grid dating rumors (although she's openly dating a well-known athlete at the time), that Yuki and her just run with it and make a fool out of F1 media for three months.
