it's so so funny to me that I made a sim with the explicit intention of joining the wildfangs and romancing rory oaklow, and then. pretty much immediately went and got with her dad.

so last time i left off playing the sims with Damien, they and Kristopher were at the romance festival

they had their first kiss there and it was very sweet

look how much fun they're having :) they're having a great time!

shame that the full moon just came out.

this is only Damien's second full moon as a werewolf, and uh. they definitely don't have control over their transformations or their fury yet. now, could I send them home to Moonwood Mill right now and have them ride out the full moon there? sure. however, ....... i am not going to do that

see, i think Damien is having a lot of fun at the romance festival. and i think perhaps, they've gotten a little bit caught up in all the fun they're having.

i think, perhaps... it slipped their mind what day it is.

So I went ahead and posted some of my Alien Spellcaster's on the gallery. They're listed as Alien Spellcaster and should show up there now. I have a version with mods and without mods. If that doesn't work then I can always tell you my name on there too.

Instead of using your sims directly I decided to try using CAS to randomize Ellis' sister, who for some reason kept randomizing with vampire skin details?

Gonna put her in the same world as my vampwolf and my merwolf and maybe have the three of them have some kids and see what happens, ig.

ok so to recap

-you can't ask a vampire to turn you if you have werebies already

-eating mermaidic kelp doesn't do anything if you have werebies

-you can't become a spellcaster if you have werebies or if you've just eaten mermaidic kelp (or, presumably, if you're turning into a vampire? didn't test that one)

-you can, however, become a werewolf and a mermaid at the same time by swimming in lake lunvik on a full moon as a dormant wolf who's just eaten mermaidic kelp

you manifest as a mermaid first

and then you wolf out upon reaching shore

the merwolf ui is like, fine. no problems with that.

i did have her go in the water while she was rampaging and uh... she turned into a human in the water? and then started rampaging as a human? and then transformed back into a wolf after a bit once she was on dry land

i opened create-a-sim, and uh...

hm. that's not... quite what i expected

yeah no her mermaid form doesn't look like that lmao

anyway. given that the game blocked me from trying to do the spellcaster quest while turning into a mermaid, i'm guessing it would do the same if i'm turning into a vampire? and possibly block me from asking someone to turn me into a vampire if i'm turning into a mermaid? basically i suspect i'm not going to be able to combine the other transformations :(

but i do have a vampwolf and a merwolf to play with. so that should be interesting

a sim named Cesar spawned in my game today and I tried to kill him using cheats for the meme but I ended up killing my own sim instead

so the day after the Romance Festival Incident, two of the other Moonwood Collective pack members reached out to Damien - Wolfgang Wilder invited them to the Flea Market, and later that evening Lily Zhu visited Damien at home

i get the impression that they were trying to be nice and supportive, but they were also... a little bit condescending about it? Damien is still a very new werewolf, they don't have great control of themself yet, and like, they did screw up in a major way by going to San Myshuno on the full moon lol. and i think the rest of the pack kind of doesn't know what to make of them. they climbed the ranks very quickly - game mechanically, it's because they get pack xp points for self sufficiency every time they do anything in their garden; story wise i am saying it's nepotism bc Kristopher has a big ol crush on them. and also he is maybe projecting a bit of what he sees as his failure with Rory onto Damien. totally a fun and healthy foundation for a relationship

to update yall on my quirrelmort sims game

they’re very close friendship wise, i’ve been having them flirt a lil bit but they haven’t gone on a date yet, they’re very much still in the mutual dumbass pining phase yknow

but uh. voldy and quirrell were dancing together and just chatting and i was trying to find some lowkey romantic interactions that they could do

when suddenly quirrell, all on his own mind you, decides to confess attraction

all on his own!! without my input!! and i was like heck sure so i just let him do it

but it didn’t go over too well unfortunately

oops

so they were both a little embarrassed for a bit

but then okay. i had voldy take a nap on the couch because he was very tired, meanwhile i had quirrell fix the toilet upstairs, and then i was gonna have him go plant his bluebells but when i looked, voldy was already outside planting the bluebells. and i just thought that was really cute, like an unspoken apology

me: yeah i think i’m basically over quirrellmort by now, sky is taking up most of my attention and i’m playing special interest roulette with like three other ships so,

guess who tried to confess attraction all on his own again

quirrell was embarrassed for like four hours afterwards but voldy got over it very quickly lol

they both kept having whims to kiss each other despite how awkward they are, here’s a picture of them just staring at each other both thinking “god i wanna kiss this man”

(quirrell had the whim “kiss voldemort”, voldy had the whim “make out with quirrell” xD)

finally i decided enough was enough and had them go on a date

i think it went pretty well

i’ve been debating changing up their traits a bit? ok cause right now they have

voldemort: neat, dance machine, self assured

quirrell: bookworm, loner, good

but i was thinking it would be more realistic if i gave voldy the evil trait (in place of self assured) and quirrell the gloomy trait (in place of good). like... i feel like they would be a bit more traumatized than they’ve been acting yknow? like i need for these boys to Suffer. but also idk if it’s a good idea for me to mess around with their traits this far into an established game...
