hello! I'm curious about something, what houses or planets in solar return chart/transits can indicate getting in trouble with the law?? I get it may be a very ambiguos question and dificult to answer. Maybe Jupiter has something to do with it?

It probably depends on what you mean by trouble with the law. I enjoy this question, because I never thought about this, so don't take this as my definitive answer, this is just me trying to think about this by establishing principles first.

I think there is often a misunderstanding in the interpretation of Jupiter as the law. I think it's more about Jupiter's role as justice itself and as keeper of the "order of the cosmos", of morals, ethics; he makes the laws, but he's a benevolent judge, he rejoices in the 11th house, and as Vettius Valens says he signifies "relief from troubles, release from bonds, freedom"¹, so I think Jupiter will be actually of help in these circumstances.

At first I think a planet that might be worth watching for is the Sun, which according to Valens is about "the ordinance of the gods, judgement, authority"² and a bad relationship to solar themes is what I think could be the closest thing to trouble with the law. Combustion can be read as servitude or imprisonment. And the 9th house, also known as "God" and the Sun's joy, signifies the court and judiciary.

Saturn is the ultimate challenger of authority actually, he's irreverent, he signifies imprisonment as it's the opposition to the authority, the Sun. He's Nemesis. I think it's pretty safe to say that if you have anything to do with the 12th house or Saturn it's always better to try to stay out of trouble. Valens says Saturn signifies "interminable lawsuits, subversion of business, secrets, imprisonment, chains, griefs, accusations".³

The 7th is famously used in the judgement of legal disputes. It's about enemies, adversaries.

Now, I couldn't really think of charts of people who "get in trouble with law" often, so I got in a tangent and I was trying to think of the anti of this character: people who are famous for escaping punishment, or just for doing well for themselves in court or legal disputes. Funny that I ended up thinking of 4 people and coincidentally all of them are Leo risings: OJ Simpson, Donald Trump, Johnny Depp and Ted Bundy. Even if at the end they get a negative balance, these are all very authoritative and charismatic people, who always try and have something go their way. For now I think it's just coincidence, maybe it's just because the Sun is in Leo right now and that's the energy that came first, but given what we know about the Sun, this probably a situation of "who watches the watchmen", right?

Let's look at Trump, for example. He's an obvious orange Leo rising who also has Regulus on the ascendant, the alpha star of the Lion. The Sun is in the 11th house, which, as we've already estabilished, it doesn't harm him at all and gives him much much luck. The Sun also has dignity in the 9th by exaltation and sees Jupiter by trine. Jupiter is relieving him ALL the time. Recently that immunity story sounded a lot like Regulus giving a god-king status, he's the watchman and no one will watch him. The danger comes from the north node on the Sun, Mars (9th ruler) on the ascendant and the Moon (12th ruler) opposing the Sun. But Mars is disposed by the Sun in a good and superior aspect, so Mars just works for him. The Moon is disposed by Jupiter, his benefic and reliever. This year he's in a 7th house profection, activating his Saturn in the 12th, and his Solar Return doesn't look good at all, which is one of the reasons why he won't win this election and why he's been having a tougher time. But Saturn doesn't have anything to do with the Sun or the ascendant, so it's hard to say he'll ever get imprisoned.

My second example is Johnny Depp, who similarly has the Sun in the 11th. Jupiter is IN the 9th house (the court), exalting him and making good aspects: a sextile to the Sun and a trine to the ascendant, so this is insane protection. Jupiter is on Alpheratz, a star that also gives freedom and relief from troubles. The ruler of the 11th is Mercury conjunct Venus in the most powerful house, which means his fandom is really there for his public image. Both are with Algol, which sometimes can be the strongest (vengeful) protector especially with benefics. The Moon doesn't see him, Mars is already way behind in comparison to Jupiter, and Saturn is a strong enemy but not really working as well against him as Jupiter for him. I won't get into it, but during the famous trial against Heard he was in an 11th house profection, his SR was really interesting and it also had Leo rising.

In OJ Simpson's chart we see the same ascendant again, so we'll look at similar things, but this is the first chart that has a clearer indication of someone who gets deprived of freedom or excluded from society, and he did go to jail for a little bit eventually for something else, because he does have the ascendant ruler in the 12th, together with Mercury and Venus while the Moon sees them, and Saturn in the 1st, so his reputation doesn't escape as well. Mars is in the 11th house, which can signify judgement working for his benefit. His Sun is also with the star Sirius, of the nature of Jupiter and Mars, which gives honors, fame, popularity, besides being also dangerous. His "dream team" is Mercury, and they're in another star that gives much of the same significations. During his long murder trial he went through a 12th house profection and it ended in his 1st house profection. Interesting, right? The Sun in Cancer exalts Jupiter and makes a beautiful trine to it, and ultimately relieves him. Jupiter is close and right in between the stars of the Scales, which I'll come back to.

Ted Bundy was the most charismatic serial killer who gained fans during his trial, which was one of the craziest ones in this regard. He has Saturn in the 1st, same as OJ Simpson, but the Sun is in Sagittarius. And his chart doesn't look as good: the Sun was just eclipsed, it's conjunct Mars, it applies a trine to Saturn and can't see Jupiter or Mercury, so there's no saving him. His fandom (Mercury) is strong but obscure and weird in the 4th and doesn't save his reputation (Venus). This is also the first night chart that we're looking at, so the Sun isn't as strong and Saturn is the greater malefic: disputes go worse for him and he doesn't have Jupiter or Mercury in sight to relieve him. He was executed in a Saturn profection. And also like in OJ's chart, there are 2 significant stars on those planets in Scorpio: the northern and southern scales of Libra, also known as the scorpion's claws. The 10th ruler is with the northern one, of the nature of Jupiter and Mercury, and this one is famous for making lawyers and giving success in legal disputes. He was a law student and arrogantly tried to act as his own lawyer. This is a good star to have for reputation and to stay out of trouble for a little bit, but it wasn't enough, Venus is still in bad shape. He was sentenced to the death penalty: Jupiter as the ruler of the 8th house of death is with the southern and punishing scale, of the nature of Saturn and Mars. You'll find exactly how significant this star is in his chart on the Constellation of Words website, but to keep it short I'll just emphasize Robson's signification for when it's with Jupiter: "Hypocrisy, deceit, dishonesty, pretended religious zeal for business purposes, danger of imprisonment".

The constellation Libra used to be part of the constellation Scorpius to the Ancient Greeks. Libra made up the claws. The name Kozume carries the kanji for 'claw' (爪) and the name Kuroo carries the kanji for 'tail' (尾) like the curve of stars in Scorpius represents a tail.

Back in that time period, the claws were deemed too dim to be a constellation on their own. But later the Romans saw a set of scales instead and Scorpius lost its claws to what is now the Libra constellation.

Despite the change though, the two main stars of the Libra constellation still carry references to being claws in their present names: Zubenelgenubi and Zubenelschamali mean Southern Claw and Northern Claw in Arabic respectively.

Cusp Ac's are so rare that I've been working with my body pendulum and asking Ancestors and Angels for guidance. I've only found a handful of people so far who have them, and other Astrologers sometimes argue with us and insist we're wrong, because all of the literature does say that the Ac is in the 1st house. It's to the point where they won't even go to astro dot com to check and confirm it for themselves. I get that as it's rare, the info. has probably been lost along with much of the Astrology of ancient cultures. I don't understand the immature cognitive dissonance of Astrologer wars.

I asked the Natural Law system, using the body pendulum method, if I was permitted to know if my theory was correct or incorrect, and it is correct. I asked several times to get my emotions centred. Even though I was stressed when I started asking, I continued to get that I am correct.

This tells me that anyone with an Ac which is at the 12th / 1st cusp like mine, tends towards being highly misunderstood as someone interesting or alluring at first, and yet so powerful that the tired old saying, "Absolute power corrupts, absolutely", is placed and tightened by another around the heart of that person.

The 12th house is unarguably the most mysterious in Astrology. The Ac (Ascendant sign, also known as Rising sign) is about how people in our personal relationships view us and how we interact with them as a result, and is a pure, cosmic area of power within. It is what we must find mathematically, to begin the most complete and nuanced of charts. The 12th house is where we are supposed to face the shadows of our pasts, which have been left unresolved, through addressing all addictions; people, substances, sex, other dangerous thrill seeking. Healing is done there by masters, of which there are few. It is the native house of Pisces, and so that energy is heightened.

As modern society brainwashes people to avoid shadow work like plague, and scoff at things like Astrology though uneducated, most people don't make much headway in that house.

Pholus is conjunct (beside) my Ac at under a 1° orb, so they work together very closely. Pholus is energy of the butterfly effect, and has to do with levels of understanding within Universal Karmic Law. They work as closely with fixed star Deneb Kaitos. This places into the core of my overall beingness, both psychological and physical restraint. My Ac being Pisces, seamlessly flows intuitively, separating truth from illusion (Go to the end for a full description of Pholus).

I'm grateful for these two, as they lessen the being-misunderstood-permanently probabilities inherent in the 12th house Ac. The 12th house is in large part about addictions and represents the last life stage, where people have a chance to heal from them. Some people perceive other people as addictions. Other natives of the 12th house who are, like me, energy healers, will be familiar with being able to sense when other people are fantasizing, either sexually or otherwise, about you. Even though people are not intending for it to seem like rape when they fantasize about others, we're particularly sensitive and must regularly energy cleanse and shield from such people and their activities.

Some people have sheepishly come back and apologized to me for ghosting or chastising me, saying they don't understand why they did it. Others feel confused and embarrassed and, understandably, don't say anything to me. I only know that they are no longer directing toxicity at me when I feel it lessening and this will be whenever whichever difficult aspects there are in our synastry (comparison of multiple charts) together, has moved away and are no longer effecting us. Then I'm able to let go of my anger and sadness, and I send out telepathically, my forgiveness.

I also understand how uncomfortable it is for many to feel peaceful around a woman who has both fire (Aries: self-starter, big enthusiasm misunderstood as aggression) & water (Pisces: day dreamily, gently searching through every drop of a pool of water, to separate spiritual clarity from illusion). The two seem contradictory; fire and water being known as disharmonious throughout Astrology. Normally I agree in most situations, including when I'm triggered. The fact that I can sometimes cool off my fire with water faster than other people tend to be able to do, I think maybe gives people the impression that I was faking anger. I actually switch in seconds, and multiple times in my life people have reacted by scoffing at how fast I do it. I know they project because of something they're going through, but that has still been painful. I'm still the most honest person I know. I'm on the spectrum and have almost mastered masking so that I can avoid harassment, but not quite. I don't give up easily though. I have particular interest in the 12th house and wonder if there are autism indicators in it.

"Absolute power corrupts, absolutely", is impossible for me. The fixed star Zubenelgenubi is known for being prominent in the charts of serial killers and other tyrants, and so people feel a lot of instinctive fear towards it, and some Astrologers will not even consider working with it; I see how that could be overwhelming for some. Without more than this one indicator, I have the feeling that Zubenelgenubi is not strong enough to cause psychopathy. It is, as with anything in Astrology, often projected towards others unfairly. I don't have the birth-dates of any of the people who left me, so I can't look and find out for certain, but I feel this is an area in which I've been misunderstood. The Astrology king dot com site also has a few people talking about energy projected at them constantly by people who perceive them as dangerous when really they aren't, and they have Sun conjunct Zubenelgenubi. Astrology is part projection and part identification of where our own issues lie and when and how to fix them. My Zubenelgenubi is at a few degrees away with fixed star Alphecca, & asteroids Nada, Opportunity, and Angel. This shows that when another persons chart interacts with mine, they on some level fear me, particularly as this takes place in Scorpio, which is ruled by Pluto, God of fear, death, taxes (including karmic debt or perceived karmic debt), in the 8th house which is associated with both Scorpio and Pluto; this energy is tripled against me. However, they have no opportunity to permanently knock me down, though I may become annoyed or hurt at being left, depending on how close the relationship was. I have Angelic protection, & the ability to poetically communicate artistically through occultism. However, there are also indications of people talking shit, which I have confirmed, which leads to a person having no choice but to be a loner. People who know me are aware that I am. It really helps to understand all of these reasons why.

Some will understand this stuff about me and some will not, deciding it's necessary to permanently remove themselves from my life. As painful as that can be, Astrology is a saviour of my sanity, because I understand the logical reasons for why these things have happened to me, and I'm better prepared to handle them going forward.

The brightest star in the Libra constellation is Zubeneschamali or Beta Librae. The second brightest stars are Alpha Librae, also called Zubenelgenubi ("southern claw"), a binary star located 77 light-years from Earth  and Gamma Librae, an orange giant.

It’s known in Babylonian astronomy as MUL Zibanu (the "scales" or "balance"), or alternatively as the Claws of the Scorpion. It was also seen as the Scorpion's Claws in ancient Greece.

The Half Moon

Zubenelgenubi is my mom’s word. She got it from her Papa, and he got it from the sky. My mom told me that he used to spend a lot of time staring at constellations. He was in the Coast Guard, lucky enough to have served during a time of peace. He brought that word and that star home to my mom and gave her its light between cupped palms and crooked grins. She gave it to me driving down 144th Street past a high school that all five of her kids had gone to, copying the way that he’d grin out of the side of his mouth, his eyes peeking to see if his joke had landed. Zubenelgenubi is special because it’s the alpha star in the constellation I was born under and if the stars didn’t align for that, then it’s a waste of a cosmic joke, and my Papa was glancing out of the side of his eyes for nothing. Zubenelgenubi is special because it feels like an heirloom. It’s special because it’s fun to say and hard to spell. I can’t actually spell it without looking it up, which makes it even better because that means that I can only say in words the weight that the stars hold in Coast Guard hands and only tell the people who mean something about my mom’s Papa’s star.

Get ready for the New Moon near Venus

On the morning of December 9, the Moon will be in the last quarter phase and will be visible in the evening sky. Venus, also known as the Morning Star, will be visible in the morning sky. Zubenelgenubi is a star in the constellation of Libra, which is located near Venus. This event is interesting because the Moon, Venus, and Zubenelgenubi will be in close proximity to each other in the sky, creating a beautiful celestial scene.
