Happy new year's eve !

I had to bring back Andrew i miss him so much 😭😭 i finally felt satisfied with the result. This drawing was supposed to be for his birthday but, well, that clearly didn't happen. he's very hot and sweaty but having a great time I'm sure.

“what happened to the show you were watching darling?” andrew asks without even looking up from his work.

his question snaps out of your lovestruck daze and makes you realize that you’ve been staring at him in complete silence for longer than you’d care to admit.

“oh uh it just ended.”

andrew glances up at you through his glasses to look at your ‘caught-red-handed’ expression and chuckles lightly.

“darling your show ended a half hour ago. have you been staring at me the whole time?”

you pause before thinking of a response.

“the couch gives me the perfect view of you at your desk, i couldn’t help it.”

andrew returns his focus back to his work while shaking his head to himself at your response.

“so what’s the real reason for the long loving stares hm?” he asks, curiosity peaked.

“i just like to soak in the detail of your face that’s all, you’re very handsome you know.”

he can hear the smile in your voice when you call him handsome and he can’t help but grin to himself.

“so i’ve been told.”

“you should be told more often.”

andrew thinks back to when he was teaching and how he would often catch you stealing glances of him whenever you passed a class he was teaching that you weren’t in. originally he thought nothing of it, until you turned in that paper and flipped his whole world upside down.

“i think i’m told just enough.”

“you’re right, i won’t want you to get an even bigger ego.” you laugh as andrew redirects his attention back to you after the comment.

“even bigger?” he questions.

you nod your head and bite back a smile.

“i do not have an ego!” he exclaims, trying to fight the smile growing on his face due to your contagious smiling.

“okay professor.”

andrew stands and walks over to you as you sprawl yourself out more on the couch.

“wow not even going to make room for me?” you shake your head and he sighs.

“okay fine, i am going to make up some tea and by the time i get back you better have made room for me. the great british bake off is going to be on soon.”

“yes sir.” you give him a small salute as he exits to the kitchen to start the tea.

you flip the television on to the correct channel just in time for andrew to come back with tea in hand. you move to make room for him and he hands you your tea gently.

“thank you~”

“you’re welcome.” he plants a kiss on your forehead before sitting down next to you and you instinctively curl into him.

“i love you.”

“i love you too darling.”

you watch as andrew sips his tea and watches the show playing on the television. the sound seems to fade out as you continue watching him peacefully until you feel his finger placed on your cheek that moves you to face the television. you laughs and kiss andrew on the cheek before finally focusing on the show.
