So, I was gonna share a link to the wonderful Twilight Symphony for my Zelda-loving mutuals, because I've been listening to it recently and it's so damn good...

...only to discover that Nintendo have struck most of the tracks off of Youtube and effectively stopped people from accessing/listening to the vast majority of the suite. Which, yeah, copyright law and all that, but damn it still really sucks to see.

For what it's worth, here's the tracks that are still currently available to listen to, courtesy of Zelda ReOrchestrated (ZREO). Give them a listen before they're taken down, because they are amazing!

Hey if you love Wind Waker as much as I do, you should check out ZREO Second Quest's new album, Fair Winds and Following Seas. It's beautiful, everything ZREO does drives me insane, and I absolutely had the album on repeat while drawing this!

(I also would like to thank @hyruviandoctor for unwittingly providing the sail fin idea by joking that “he’s missing his sail. It goes on his back silly”)

It's strange being in a fandom so long that you see things that used to be common knowledge get lost to the sands of time.

Like Twilight Princess has started experiencing the Zelda Cycle in reverse which rip, so there's been a lot of 'in defense of Twilight Princess' videos on YT recently. And something I'm seeing most of them say is "yeah it would've been better if they orchestrated the music, and they should have."

Which is absolutely baffling to me. That was one of the big things about Twilight Princess when it came out. They tried to have the soundtrack orchestrated. They wanted it orchestrated but they were told no. That's why Skyward Sword was such a big deal! Skyward Sword did get the orchestra. They said they finally achieved the dream they've had since TP by having the soundtrack orchestrated.

It's so wild to see that knowledge forgotten.

Little tribute to the first boss I ever beat in a Zelda game as a kid! This is Gohma from Wind Waker (such a good one).

My first thought for this prompt was Dark Link, but I already had a lot of OoT planned for the remaining prompts so I wanted to include more of the other games. I’ll keep him in mind for later 😏

In general I love so many of them, I literally have a deep love for the Zelda soundtracks, I think they are all very beautiful, but these are among my favourites!

I love some versions more than the ones found on Spotify, but this is the list of the ones I love the most

I also like some from HW, Aoc and Botw but my favorites remain these!

I personally love the Fable games' soundtracks, Mass Effect 3, Stellaris, the Halo games, quite a bit of the Assassin's Creed games, and of course, ZREO: Twilight Symphony.

Here's the newest playlist for my LoZ theme park! This one would play in the Temple of Time Theatre between shows, while guests are finding their seats. Consequently, it is shorter than the others so far, and alternates the classic Temple of Time theme itself with various other pieces of music used to convey legends, backstory, and other stories within the games.

(Because YouTube doesn't like having the same video more than once in the same playlist, apparently, I had to find multiple uploads of the ZREO cover of the Temple of Time theme. The things I do for this weird project of mine...)
