Zosia investigates a bump in the night...
You’re definitely hearing someone walking in your cabin. Alas, you have an insomniac in your cabin. Tomlin isn’t aware he has woken anyone up.
You can ignore him, tell him he should go to bed, sit with him, or kill him for scaring you. The choice is yours but remember...
      every choice has a consequence, eventually.

WHO: @zosiasolomon    WHEN: WEDNESDAY, 7PM WHERE: THE HIDEOUT
He looked at the clock all day. Maybe it was abusive, but his entire shift at AJ’s Repair Shop seemed like an eternity. Even if he tried to keep himself busy, it seemed like the flow of customers was not enough to keep him from thinking of tonight. Zosia’s hazel hues kept crossing his mind, haunting him, and he tried desperately to memorize a speech – or some questions he could ask her at least. He wanted to know where she had gone for so long, why she had left without a word. He somehow felt like he already knew the answer, and that he was partially to blame – if not completely – but he needed to hear it from her. When it was finally time to leave, he headed home, picking up Camden from school. His son wasn’t too pleased to hear that his father would be leaving for the night. It happened once or twice a week, but he knew his son hated when he hired a babysitter. He didn’t want to call his sister tonight, mostly because he wanted to avoid her asking questions about where he was heading, and mostly with who.
He was not embarrassed of going for a coffee with his son’s teacher. But considering their history – not that his little sister knew anything of it, thankfully – he preferred avoiding mentioning it for now. There was already Zosia’s dad who risked finding out, and God only knew how Braedan did not want this to happen. He could only imagine what the old man would say or do if he did. Of course, he was ill and not exactly in the best shape to threaten him of anything, but did he really want to get into an argument with one of his father’s closest friends? He felt like it was already too late, somehow.
He made dinner, eating with Camden and avoiding carefully each of his questions about who he was seeing tonight, pretexting he was going out with Sam and Travis. After finishing his plate, his son moved to the living room, playing with his car trucks, while he headed to the shower and changed into a clean pair of jeans and a white t-shirt. It was basic, but probably much better than his greasy mechanic clothes – and more himself than his dress shirt from the night before. The teenager next door finally knocked on the door, and he shouted her to come in. His son rushed to the door excitedly, greeting her, followed by his father. After a few instructions about the time the boy had to go to sleep, and telling his son to be good to his babysitter, Braedan walked outside the house and headed to his motorcycle, picking up his helmet in the leather bag. Putting it on, he settled on the bike and rode in direction of the coffee shop.
Surprisingly, he was just in time. Not too early, and thankfully not late. He knew she would hate him if he was. Braedan entered the Hideout and quickly found a desert table at the end of the small restaurant. He didn’t want to draw attention on them. Pulling out his cellphone from his pocket, he hesitated for a moment before texting her. He realized it had been ten years since they had texted. He smiled slowly as he read the silly conversations, before quickly typing a message.
[ TEXT ]: Picked the last table at the back. Didn’t order yet I will wait for you.

@zosiasolomon:
Beautiful freckles on a beautiful face. I would like to see you sometime if you can before you get too busy, as I would enjoy hearing about all of your adventures. What are you looking forward to with the new school year?
You’re always so sweet! Thank you! Absolutely! I was just talking to @tomlinotracey and said we three need to get together so I can hear all about your marvelous time with the animals. My adventures weren’t as exciting as yours, but I can share them! I’m looking forward to finishing, honestly. I’m ready to be declared a veterinarian in my own right! It’ll be incredible to finish and finally get to do what I’ve been dreaming of without having to follow someone else around.

I’m glad you didn’t come, Zozy. I don’t know what I would have done if it had been you that went missing over night. Were you all right while we were out there?

How was Australia? What has you so busy this month? I’m not very good at video games due to little experience, but I wouldn’t mind a play.

It was beautiful. I love it there. I’m going to be busy dealing with boring doctor things. Im going to fill my free time gaming. Im not good and only just learning. We can laugh about our lack of skill together. And practice will help us get better.

I think it’s safe to say I’m the black sheep of my family.
I think it’s a wonderful quality that you keep things light and fun when you can. I know royal dinners and engagements you have to be as perfect as possible.
While I’ve unfortunately always been seen as the one to aspire to with my brothers and sister. I’m very obviously the odd one out in Denmark, though Kai’s brothers and sisters love me so there’s that. Her father thinks I’m funny too and i’ve made the Queen of Denmark chuckle. Made the Queen of England laugh too much is much harder to do.

@taneyhana
@genaya-salazar
@marcie-pan
@zosiasolomon
@princessofdenmark

Some of these people aren’t single, but it doesn’t make them any less attractive, but damn you people are lucky if you’re with them.

Tell us about your favourite place in LA
Hmm, honestly? Two places. One is @princessofdenmark and @princexfdenmark‘s home and estate where I can spend time with them and my godson. The other is with @zosiasolomon and her horses. They have allowed me to feel like a normal human outside of my home. For that, I will be forever grateful.

Nastya looks so cute. I attempted reindeer antlers on Chandelle and she gave me stink eye for it. I suppose she’s not exactly the holiday spirit type.
Each pet to their own then! I think Nastya just puts up with her silly human at this point!

Fine, have any women in particular caught your attention?
Of course, and for various reasons.
@selenemacsuainsabr - For her good conversation, although she’s least likely to look in my direction, I had to add her just the same.
@marcie-pan - For her kindness.
@zephyr-dresden - For her outgoing, and unique personality.
@renatavoronin - Because she has a knowledge of Dostoyevsky.
@sophie-gardener - She also seems to be a different and happy individual which makes her beautiful as well.
@edie-wells, @zosiasolomon, and @kristinebosie simply for being beautiful, and seeming interesting to me although I haven’t had a chance to talk to them really.
It’s a lot of people. They’ve just caught my attention.

What are you waiting for....? Zosia chooses to wait, not feeling right about leaving when there's people missing and possibly in need of help.
‣ WAITING GAME ↴
Dawson caught Zosia’s attention when he pointed out the ferry was in distress. They had been standing close to each other, as they had arrived together from the same cabin. Rather than get involved in the chaos in the woods, she decides to go where she knows she might be helpful and starts running down the island’s coastline with Dawson...
‣ CHOICES ↴
Does she wait to see where Dawson goes or has she already made up her own mind that she will grab a kayak at the water sports venue or a boat from Mason cabin?

WHEN: Tuesday night, 7pm WHERE: Mystic Elementary School WITH: @zosiasolomon
The parent-teacher conference was something Braedan never looked forward to. Not because his son was a troublemaker, or had learning problems – in fact, Camden was surprisingly ahead for a kindergartener, something he definitely didn’t get from him. The reason of his dread was quite easy to guess, even if his boy had never asked him why, at the opposite of the other kids in his class, he had no mom praising his good participation in class or his fantastic attitude. And at every reunion, the father’s heart broke even if it wasn’t really his fault.
If the father disliked those events, his son was always thrilled by them. He enjoyed playing with his friends, unbothered by whatever his dad and teacher could talk about. This time, he was specifically excited. Braedan would finally get to meet his new teacher, that Camden had been talking about for more than a week now. The father was not as excited as the small boy, but he knew how thrilled he was, and didn’t want to disappoint him, so he decided to pretend he was just as hyped as he was. Whatever to make his kid happy, right?
After eating at Rosie’s Diner, the pair headed to the conference. Braedan rarely dressed up. As in only in very special occasions, weddings, funerals… and parent-teacher conferences, because he didn’t want to look like a complete idiot in the crowd of parents. Entering the elementary school with his son, he stared at his reflection, rolling his eyes at the grey dress shirt. Even if he tried to convince himself, nobody would buy it. Following the hallway leading to the kindergarten classroom, he stepped into the colourful room plastered in posters of letters, numbers and animals, pale hues scanning the room, pausing on the familiar silhouette sitting behind the teacher’s desk. Immediately, his jaw went slack, and the smile on his lips disappeared.
The shock was brief, as quickly Camden brought him back to reality with the gentle tug on his arm. Shaking his head, Braedan exhaled slowly and looked at his son, forcing a smile. “Dad, you’re not listening… can I go play with Will and Derek?” Braedan looked at the two boys at the back of the class and raised his brows. “After we meet your teacher. You don’t want to introduce us?” Of course, it was terrible, and he could have easily let him go play with his friends. Camden rolled his eyes and grunted, walking slowly to the teacher’s desk, followed closely by his father. As he approached, though, the boy seemed much more enthusiastic. “Dad, this is Miss Solomon. She’s my new teacher.” For a split-second, Braedan was somehow relieved he had not mentioned anything about her looks. He kept a composed face. “I told my Dad you were very nice and pretty.” Braedan choked, his face turning red and turned to look at his son. “You know what, why don’t you go play with Will and Derek? And we’ll have a talk…Later.” Camden grinned, and ran away quickly, before the blond man sat down on the chair before the desk, muttering a curse under his breath, avoiding the brunette’s gaze.
“I’m sorry. He’s ridiculous sometimes. I’m sure Lach told him to embarrass me tonight or something.” He paused, glancing furtively. “So, you’re teaching kindergarten now, huh?” He didn’t want to ask what was bringing her back. He knew her father was ill. The old man was visiting the repair shop less and less. His jaw clenched nervously, and he chewed on the inside of his cheek, searching for something to say, avoiding her gaze. She hadn’t changed much. She was older, but those ten years had not hit her so hard. The question was haunting him, but he knew it was not the right time to ask it. Suddenly, the nervosity left place to bitterness. He forced a polite smile. “Alright, Miss Solomon, do you have anything to say about my boy?” He leaned in, wording in a low voice. “Because I’m gonna go straight to the point, I do have a few questions for you, Zosia.”
