My Top Ten Favorite Pokemon

After sitting down and thinking about it now that the recency bias of Scarlet and Violet has worn off, I can confidently say that these ten Pokemon are my favorite out of all 1025 monsters. Also, while they're all listed as final evos, I include the whole evolutionary line in my entries.

So here is the official list of my Top Ten Favorite Pokemon! Don't judge me too hard.

ive gotten ridiculously attached to my pokemon legends team, so i decided to fully make them ocs! took a few artistic liberties especially with skye, anouk, and nightshade

trivia abt them under the cut!

maksim:

my protag's starter, naturally

was always out of his pokeball, no matter what, and my protag carried him while running while he was still a cyndaquil

was babied and simultaneously trained the most, so now he's Huge

would kill for my protag, when she was exiled, he stood between the galaxy team and her in her defense

he and my protag are inseparable, a package deal

he's a huge sweetheart

skye:

one of my oldest ocs, reborn

always in sky forme

not shiny in-game but when i made her at age 12 i made her shiny

also out of her pokeball a lot, and when she's not flying after my protag, shes either perched on my protag's shoulder or maksim's head

very sweet, and very affectionate

dusk:

was found as an eevee in a distortion

he's been with my protag since pre-exile

aloof to those they don't trust, super warm with my protag and her other team pokemon

anouk:

found in a massive mass outbreak as an oshawott

has always been a fighter, but not aggressively, just defensive

slow to warm up to others and fairly no-nonsense

however once he's warmed up to someone he's undyingly loyal to them

he trims his facial hair so that it doesn't get in the way

dahlia:

found in a massive mass outbreak as a goomy

very laid-back and hard to faze

gives the BEST, albeit slimy, hugs

nightshade:

the bastard child of a noble of their clan, and before being cast out, was greatly mistreated

found half-dead in the icelands as a zorua, freezing to death and heavily wounded

my protag immediately took her back to nurse her back to health

was heavily scarred as a zorua, kept his scars upon evolution

they are very well loved now by my protag and her other team pokemon

Yukiko's always curious about the outside world but haven't got the chance to explore, and she doesn't know anything about the places either, and she also worries about fire- and water- type pkmns. Akio is the perfect pkmn to help her, he can guide and protect her

They're opposites kinda, yukiko stays in one place (partially bc she need to store her collection) while akio hops from one place to another in search of food. Their meeting balances each other, he found a proper home with her while she gets to see new places with him c:

Sprigatito today, this was surprisingly hard, like this looks terrible compared to usual, much less yesterday, I just couldn't get their head right, or anything else right for that matter, in spite of numerous attempts.
