watching the one piece live action I remember thinking “how long has zoro known luffy for???”considering he went from a pirate hunter/bounty hunter to a loyal and devoted first mate who put every ounce of his trust into a semi deranged whirlwind of a 17 year old within a two week span……and then I started the anime and yah. he’s just like that

zoro's devotion to luffy is an important aspect in zolu but can we talk abouti luffy's FAITH in zoro. "you can never fail me." zoro would be like sorry for disappointing you captain and every fucking time luffy would be no no no you're perfect. that's how much luffy trusts zoro can you believe that. it's about raw confidence in someone to the point of no requirement for reassurance. luffy has nothing but faith in zoro.

taking some screencaps for gifs and ep 1 luffy is SO funny bc you've got koby hiding under a table when the bar fight breaks out then there's luffy who's just giving zoro the most starry eyed awestruck looks during the whole thing. and afterwards while koby goes "can't stop thinking about that fight" bc he's having some deep existential crisis abt joining the marines and reconsidering his life choices luffy's like. yeah i can't stop thinking about that guy either he's amazing to which koby has to actually tell him that's not the point. crazy

in my dream last night they released a bill cipher themed soda called Decipher and I tried to go get some but insane wacky nonsense kept interrupting me before I could. I mean the nonsense had to do with the plot of the rest of the dream but it just kept showing up at the exact moment that I was about to get my soda. Ive just remembered the plot of the rest of the dream was that all of the straw hat piratds were there at tbis theme park we were in and some other group of pirates were trying to bully nico robin. the other pirate group was goth btw. their captain almost died from getting splashed with acid (by nico robin) (it was justified). But I didnt see that happen bc really I was mostly focused on getting my dumb soda.
