That's right Frozen IV (4) is happening people! Jennifer Lee and Bob Iger visited the new World of Frozen in Hong Kong's Disneyland and Iger made this announcement:

“Well, I'll give you a little surprise there, Michael. 'Frozen 3' is in the works and there might be a 'Frozen 4' in the works too... But I don't have much to say about those films right now. But Jenn Lee, who created 'Frozen,' the original 'Frozen' and 'Frozen II,' is hard at work with her team at Disney Animation on not one but actually two stories.”

Returning cast/ characters:

Kristen Bell re-posted an article and video of the Frozen 4 announcement and Idina's indirect confirmation on her Instagram story, indirectly confirming her voice of Anna again.

Idina Menzel did the same but as a post, confirming her return as Elsa:

Josh Gad re-posted Idina's post on his story with “👀” which means he's back as the lovable Olaf.

Jonathan Groff's confirmation isn't out yet as far as I know or have seen but I'm assuming he's on board too.

As for Santino Fontana aka Hans, I think now he has a very high chance of returning. There's no way they are expanding the franchise without him, ignoring some of the Hans fandom's plea and that with redemption too. But while we wait for confirmation on the entire cast (which might be a while away), we'll just keep hoping for Santino to give us hints. I know he's staying quiet on purpose.

Release date:

No confirmed release dates are announced for 3 or 4 yet but in some files there are two release date slots for the middle of 2024 and one on 26 November 2025. I don't think Frozen 3 will be out next year because I'm sure we would have gotten some more Info on it by now and most importantly I think Zootopia 2 is coming out in November 2024. Som that leaves Frozen to have its regular date on 26 November in 2025.

As for leaks of the first looks, the earliest leak we got for frozen 2 was in December 2018 so my eyes are peeled in a year's time.

What this all means:

Frozen 4 may seem frustrating for some for the reason that Disney's just calling for more money and they might not take care of the story and cheering us fans but though it looks like that, it may not be entirely true. Jen Lee has said earlier that she's very excited about the idea for Frozen 3 that she was given to by Marc Smith, an animator in WDAS, though the director is unknown as of yet. She's expressed a lot of excitement about it which I have quoted in this post linked. And what's different about it is that we all know how production for Frozen and Frozen 2 went. Frozen had a last minute plot and character change and Frozen 2 had songs and plot changes too as we can see in the documentary on Disney plus. But this time it seems that everything is going smoothly and really really well. That's what gives me hope about the future of Frozen. And yeah I know some of you aren't too fond of Jennifer Lee and though she's managing the projects that doesn't mean she's going to be directing it. She's like the producer. Some one else will be directing it which is yet to be announced. After all Jennifer will be there in the team as she's the one who made Frozen in the first place. She knows the characters well so it's given she'd be looking over the movies' production.

I'm sure some of you are familiar with the news of the fourth installment and saw it coming when a few weeks back Jennifer also shared in an interview that she had found a new strategy upon making more Frozen films. Her strategy was that if they feel there's more to tell for the story or maybe if we the fans feel it then they'll work on making another movie. But none of us were expecting it to be announced so soon.

Based on this announcement I believe that Frozen 4 is a second part to Frozen 3 in the same way we had Avengers 3 and 4 and Fast and Furious X and 11 and into and across the spider-verse and other movies doing the same. If it's in parts it means the story, the events going down are big making Frozen 3 end in a cliffhanger. They are probably in the process of writing it or early production and they realised that this story needs two parts because the story is of a big event. This new film strategy really works in some of these movies so I'm hoping for the same for Disney. Either way, I'm glad they're expanding the well deserved franchise and realising its true potential. Frozen is the first animated trilogy to be produced by WDAS and then the first to become a quadrilogy to be a Disney Animation movie. Movies like Avengers and Toy Story are from Marvel and Pixar despite Disney owning them or some of their movies but Frozen will be a full on Disney franchise to become a quadrilogy. Frozen just making history 😌

Conclusion:

I'm scared and excited, as we all are but all we can and should do is stay positive and hope for the best. I personally believe Frozen 3 and 4 will be great given the positivity coming from Jen Lee and Bob Iger. I believe in Frozen's potential and in sure Disney does too hence the two new movies announced. But if I can't convince you to believe this is a very good thing for the franchise then maybe Isaac Carlson, who explains Disney theories and opinions on YouTube can. He explains it well and highly recommend you go watch and listen to his video. He originally didn't like the way Frozen 2 went as I did but upon seeing and hearing different perspectives of it he and I too gained a new way to see Frozen 2. Isaac also wanted more films after Frozen 2 time the ending and I think now that Disney is doing just that I think we could be feeling a whole lot better than where Frozen 2 left off at. Trust me Frozen 2 ending haters need to see his video. I'll explain more about the way I see it all in an upcoming Frozen 1, 2 and the shorts breakdown which I'll pin as soon as I post it.

But she had no problem of agreeing to his ideas in a "sexy police officer costume" on their weekend. And this is why Judy paraded in way-too-skimpy skirt across their living room, watching Nick trying to escape the plastic cuffs he was bound to to the comfy chair.

It was delightful to watch him squirm and wiggle, and almost feel his burning stare at her body as she taunted him, lifting her skirt enough to show no panties underneath, his cock reacting to each whiff of her alluring scent.

And then came the accessory... the plastic cuffs were one thing, but the police "baton" was something unexpected. She sat opposite of Nick, sliding the plastic dildo between her cheeks and lips, looking at his throbbing cock and pulsing veins.

Save Bellwether on Twitter

(In the interest of getting this the best optics possible, I will be forgoing answering asks this week to keep this at the top of the page for the entire week. We will return to your regularly scheduled Dawn And Vern content next tuesday!)

For those of you who have read my story on Fanfiction.net, or follow my AskDawnAndVern blog, you may be somewhat familiar with this idea I proposed a few months back, and referenced it in the journal on my FA entitled 'The end of a road; and looking ahead.' But since I didn't post it everywhere, I suppose I should fill you in with a sort of...short version. At least to give you an idea as to why I guess I care at all about the Dawn Bellwether character, and why I started writing for her in the first place.

I was kinda dubious about Zoot when it was coming out. Both with Disney's storytelling track record with big budget films around the time, or because I preferred 2-D animation because I'm apparently a huge snob. Whatever the case, as it got closer to release I started to get more drawn into it, but Dawn sealed the deal for me. Her design was cute, and her support character roll was endearing. About a month before the film came out, leaks of the children's book revealed Dawn to be the big bad twist villain which left me kind of heartbroken. I was miffed that once again we had a ‘person you least expected' type villain, which at this point is totally cliche, but I was also upset because she was the character I liked the most, and now I knew she was set as the primary antagonist. And while I still enjoyed the film when it came out, Dawn's characterization up until the villain reveal made it that much worse. Honestly, I would have probably been better off if they gave less of a visible motivation for Dawn's actions in terms of her relationship with Lionheart. Had she simply been completely evil for the sake of it, like most Disney villains, I could have just written her off and latched on to a character like Sharla or something.  But if that had been the case, I guess we wouldn't be here.

That's basically what ended up getting me to write my fic about Dawn getting back on the straight and narrow, and well...that's how we got here. And while I'm pretty happy with my little established AU, I can't help but feel slightly nervous about Zootopia 2. With the movie doing well enough to get a sequel I should be excited. But Disney's track record when it comes to storytelling, especially when it comes to sequels, always seems to decline with each installment. Characters are kept the same for familiarity's sake, and a familiar face with an ax to grind is an easy route to take for the plot of a would-be sequel. In fact, we've seen it many times in Disney's back catalog of films, and that has me all the more worried Dawn is just going to pop back up in Z2 as a lazy, revenge plot villain. And so that sort of re-stoked those fires about Dawn's future in cannon Zoot, and if there was anything I could try to do in regards to it.  

And thus I came up with this hashtag. #SaveBellwether. In my initial announcements I mentioned we were going to be workshopping many of the elements, but that is the hashtag that stuck. What is the purpose? Well to simply show Byron Howard, as well as the rest of the folks that may be working on Z2 as well as other Zoot fans that there is a surprising amount of fans who want to see a better Bellwether in Z2. Even in as much as a blink and you'll miss it moment. If not for anything else then to avoid a lazy retread of the same tired old 'revenge ploy' plot that may or may not be in the works.

'My initial part in the plan is very simple. I'm simply going to tweet Byron Howard a string of tweets. Professional and as short as I could make them. That simply touches on the idea and expresses the sentiment among us Bellwether Fans as clearly as possible. In the interest of transparency, I will share the intended tweets here.

Dear @ByronPHoward, I, like a surprising number of Zoot fans, really loved the Bellwether character, and were kinda crushed when she turned out to be the villain.

With a sequel probably soon to be underway, I just wanted to ask if you had any plans of bringing her back as anything other than a 'revenge villain', perhaps working to reform.  

I know I'm not the only one who'd like to see her character make a turnaround. After all, if Gideon could change, she certainly could. And I think it would make for a more compelling story element.

I would just hate to see a Zootopia 2 where she comes back as an antagonist because it's easy, and see the Zoot series go down the same route of almost every other franchise out there.

Whether that be just a statement, art, a cosplay, stories, or whatever, just sharing shows that there is support for this idea as well as a great deal of care about Zootopia 2's possible plot quality. And perhaps the great show of love for Dawn will persuade them to make Dawn less evil in future Zoot projects. Obviously, we don't want to badger anyone or make it seem like we are brigading them, but I think a support hashtag might let them see that there is something to the idea.

I hope there are as many of you out there as enthusiastic about supporting this idea as I am, and I hope you'll join me in using the hashtag to see if anything manages to come of it. Even if it ends up doing nothing in terms of shaping Dawn's future in Zoot, at the very least it will be a great way to spread positivity and connect to other Bellwether fans. So why not at least give it a try? If it doesn't work we'll always have out fanfictions, and the friends we met along the way.

On one last little note, this isn't necessarily about my specific Dawn story, or anyone's for that matter. I'm not aiming for Disney to hire me and use parts of Rehab for Zoot 2.  (Although that would be amazing). I just want to see the character get a better deal, and I think we all want to see that.

Sonic Movie Series Casting

Zac Efron(Neighbors 1 and 2, The Greatest Showman, 17 Again, Baywatch) as Sonic The Hedgehog.

Some thoughts on this I do really like Ryan Reynolds yet I worry because he's been casted for some reason as Detective Pikachu and I've been thinking would they allow that since Pokemon is a Nintendo property and this is Sonic from Sega. Yet I don't know it's not like Marvel and DC where certain actors can't be in each other's franchises or shit like that. Their are other choices and this worrisome idea about age. Yet I think he's perfect and fits the job.

JK Simmons(The Sam Rami Spider-Man Trilogy, Zootopia, Whiplash, Justice League 2017) as Dr. Eggman/Robotnik.

Some thoughts to be honest this is indeed type casting because the way it is. Yet it's basically perfect and fits and glad that comment on YouTube agrees with me.

Again going by the supposed leak story and that comment really mainly it's a casting choice I'm not worried about and I like Brie too as an actress.

Zac Efron as Metal Sonic.

Some thoughts an original casting choice was of Dane Dehann but to make it easier because Metal is basically Sonic in way a more darker version. Including the idea that Metal thinks he's the real Sonic. So it's Zac doing a more kind of disguised by sounds of machine. But basically a darker and serious voice compared to Sonic's actual voice when Metal develops to talk. To become the real Sonic.

Sebastian Stan(The Captain America Trilogy, The Martian) as Shadow The Hedgehog.

Talitha Bateman (Annabelle Creation, Nine Lives) as Maria Robotnik.

Some thoughts this was basically a last minute decision as of now. The other choices were Emma Watson and Lili Heinhart but decided to go with Catherine because that Star Wars one and also the idea of The Loud House. Hey at least she's done serious roles. Including she was a casting idea for Amy but decided to go with Blaze so we now have our Blaze in this universe.

Cole Sprouse(Riverdale) as Silver The Hedgehog.

Danny McBride(This Is The End, The Angry Birds Movie) as Vector The Crocodile.

Martin Burke(Sonic OVA) as Classic Sonic.

Some thoughts just yeah honestly it's a personal casting and I do wonder of how his response would be if he was ever approached to even voice Sonic again. Including you can laugh at it if you want.

Jessica DiCicco(The Buzz On Maggie, Adventure Time, The Loud House) as Marine The Raccoon.

Some thoughts can she do a Australian accent in some way. Including almost forgot to mention this before the next casting of a character I wasn't gonna put but might as well since I put Marine. Now remembered this was seriously last minute casting. Might of had thought of her but today I was thinking well might as well go with her she fits.

Nev Scharrel(Despicable Me 3) as Cream The Rabbit.

Chadwick Boseman(Captain America Civil War, 42, Get On Up, and the upcoming Black Panther) as the president.

KJ Apa(Riverdale) as Buddy The Wolf.

Some thoughts yeah this is where KJ is at. Including this prediction if Buddy was ever gonna be introduced in a movie. People making jokes or actually complaining their character isn't canon. Along with the idea how a custom character is gonna work. Including I keep thinking the whole Buddy The Wolf is the canon part. Or Gadget The Wolf or Rookie The Wolf you may go with. Yet what I know no offense the Buddy The Wolf name seems canon.

Adam Driver(What If, Star Wars The Force Awakens, Patterson, Logan Lucky, Star Wars The Last Jedi) as Infinite The Jackal.

Some thoughts this casting choice I had thought of when seeing The Last Jedi a 2nd time and also the jokes and comparison people make of the two characters Kylo Ren and Infinite. Amenii shivered in despite the fire burning in the room. The furs overhead snapped as each gust of wind tore at the hides and whistled through the gaps where they had been lashed to surrounding trees. Still the chill persisted.

The predator, Amenii could not bring herself to call the one who had killed Nick her savior, was out, gathering more wood for the fire. Or so she had said, the Hyena had lingered long enough to strip her of her blood-soaked clothes and bind her leg.  After that, she had gathered up her sack and warned her, ‘If you try and flee, you’ll freeze to death long before I find you.’

Somehow the predator had known what she was thinking, shivering naked on the rough bed of pine branches, Amenii eased herself closer to the fire. The simple action caused a flare of pain to shoot up from her wounded leg and she cringed. That hurt even more, reflexively her hand rose to her face, cupping the torn flesh where the Predator had opened her face.

‘You’ll get worse than that if you try anything stupid.’ Her captor had warned as she stripped the her coat off and stuffed it into a sack. The memory hurt too, she had awoken her arms numb, and leg throbbing terribly, only to find she could not move. Her arms had been bound when first she woke, rough spun hemp rope was digging into her arms even through the skins she wore. Somehow her captor had known she was awake, had she made a whimpering sound when she woke? Amenii was too tired to remember.

Everything was a haze of nightmarish visions, running through the forest, her blood leaking from her side, the bitter wind that ripped at her mercilessly. ‘He’ll do worse if he catches you.’ She had reminded herself, as she forced herself on. That had all been for not though, He had found her, she knew he would somehow. He had always promised he would.

Tears welled in her eyes, ‘It’s just the smoke.’ She tried to tell herself, as Nicks voice echoed in her hears. She could still see the madness burning in his eyes, a green fire where once the being she knew had been.

‘You’re not her! You could Never be her!’ His half-frozen fingers clamped over her mouth.

The memory was too much to bear, and a spasm of grief washed over her as fresh tears ran down her face. No, she had wanted to say, No, I know what she was to you. Who she was to you. Legs curled up to her chin, she wept.

How long she huddled there she did not know, as the fire slowly burnt down to embers and the cold sept in. ‘It wound be so bad.’ A quiet voice whispered in her head, ‘When the Cold takes you, it will be like slipping into a dream, and the White will cover you like a blanket. Just rest now, and soon it will all be over.’ Amenii’s eyes fluttered, as they sank down. ‘Soon, it will all be over, and I will wake up in the Green Place.’

That pleasant thought was shattered with a gust of wind that ripped through the shelter, causing the dimming embers to flare.

‘Damn it you stupid bunny!’ A masked hooded figure growled, and pulled the hide flaps closed behind it. The figure loomed over her, it was even bigger than Nick, the Dark Wanderer?

‘Have you come to take me away?’ Amenii’s voice sounded strange in her ears, like someone else was speaking.

‘Stupid Bunny!’ The figure snarled, and in a heartbeat the world was spinning around. Only when the pine rushes came racing up to rake her face, did Amenii realize that she had been struck, her face spasmed in a fresh wave of pain. Digging her fingers into the branches she bit back a scream, tears flowed down her face as the figure behind her cursed.

‘I gave you one simple job!’ The hooded figure raged. ‘One! And you couldn’t even do that!’

Drawing herself back up, Amenii fought to clear her mind, the figure in front of her blurred, multiple shadows moving and reforming into one, only to split and apart again.

‘-Should have let that Flesh Eater have his way with you…’

Flesh Eater? Amenii’s groggy mind tried to put the words together, as she forced herself to rise. The effort made her head swim, and the gowned raced up to embrace her.

‘P- Please….’ Her voice was so weak, it hurt even to speak. ‘H- he-help me.’

A leer from the figure before her froze the rest in her throat, eyes, so very green, they reminded her of Nicks, but these were full of malice, and seemed to silently promise a slow and painful death awaited her.

She was too weak to fight. All her strength had bleed out on the Drifts on that frozen lake, ‘Just make it quick.’ she thought, raising her head to expose her neck. ‘Just do it quickly.’

But death did not come, instead it stayed hunched over the embers feeding small twigs into the coals, and blew on them until a spark caught.

…

It was so warm.

I must be dreaming, it was all just a terrible dream. Nick, the cold, the monster that had killed him, and when I open my eyes I will be back in that fox hole, with his arms around me.

Amenii opened her eyes, a fire burned brightly before her and she could feel the weight of thick fur embracing her. ‘Nick?’ she whispered, hopefully. Peaking over her shoulder, she tugged at his fur, only to grasp a matted white pelt.

Snow Bear?

That made no sense, Nick never owned – and then the world shifted, as strong hands pulled her upright.

‘Good, your still alive.’ A deep and full of hunger came from behind her.
