When he finds out hes going to brat about hes a dad/older brother/guardian to everyone who will listen.

"As a parental figure..." type shit before trying to do something for your own good

Gives you your own lil cane to match his, maybe does matching outfits with you

Probably calls you mini me if you start mimicking his behaviors and mannerisms.. very silly

POMNI:

A little confused, honestly! While zooble is vaguely annoyed by kids, pomni is vaguely uncomfortable around them. I mean, kids can be just so brutal, and lack filters, and and-! Did you just call her sis?

She kind of just goes. Still. Shes torn

Does she let you call her that or does she stamp it out now?

I think she would let you call her sis, she doesnt have the heart to break yours

Not many ideas here, shes visibly awkward around you at first, whether you notice is up to you, but she slowly eases into it and takes the older sibling role in stride

RAGATHA:

I've said it so many times but ragatha absolutely exudes older sister energy. So shes already a natural before you're even calling her the nickname. Is so touched that you look up to her and feel safe around her. Thats her whole thing, keep up everyones optimism (and also perhaps, by extension, her own). Likes making you lil stuffed animals

JAX:

At first he doesnt notice that you're copying him and mimicking his behaviors; from badly executed pranks to stamping your foot in mock frustration, you're copying jax down to a T... or at least, as best as you can, given you havent mastered the art of being a prankster asshole. But not to worry, jax is gonna take you under his wing. Double trouble. Chaos². Teaches you how to actually land your pranks. Sometimes uses you as "bait" to lure people in. Menaces...

KINGER:

Kinger is like a mix of caine and ragatha, I think. Kinger gives me dad vibes that I cant white explain, and no it's not just because of his age... said it a few times but he tells embellished stories to you.. noooo cuz imagine if you try to fit into the royal aesthetic with him, be it with you as a prince/princess or as a knight or whatever. I think that would be adorable. Takes you out to hunt for bugs and tucks you in a night with a story

As for how he feels about you looking up to him he would be so so honored, also does the "as a dad" thing like caine

ZOOBLE:

I think Zooble would find kids annoying, but they're not going to go out of their way to be mean to a kid. Think tired older sibling with attitude. Now when zooble finds out you look up to them, it gives them pause. Them? I mean it's raretthat they hang out with you one on one, actually it's rare that they hang out with anyone one on one... honestly I think this just feeds the older sibling thing. Probably teaches you some sass as a bonding thing. Not much to be said. Zooble is just not too open to getting close to others <\3

"Haha someones getting chased...Wait that's my kid!!!" When you get caught up in something in a IHA, attempts to rescue you

GANGLE:

She finds out when you two are drawing together! Kids like art, right? If not she had the stuff to do arts and crafts! Imagine she finds out because you make a drawing of her, with it labeling her as the best. Oh this poor girl her little heart, shes crying! Not sad tears, dont worry, she just finds it adorable is all! Though I dont think the dynamic between you two would change much

Identify your Sorrow

Since the Zooble Box is not working as well as it was supposed to Caine decided to make an adventure! An adventure for the sole purpose to change the parts of your digital character. Sort of like when you make an avatar in a game.

The others paid no mind when Zooble was forced to tag along. Caine's just like that sometimes.

Zooble grumbled as they were forced through the portal, antenna twitching slightly. They watched as everyone went in a different direction.

Wonder how long this one's going to last. When is he going to learn he can't HELP us. He can't help me.

Zooble turned their triangular head and walked down an isle nobody went.

They could hear Gangle cry just as they heard a crash. Jax is such and a**hole. They thought, rolling their eyes.

They stared as the parts, clothes, colors all lining, everything. They inhaled deeply, feeling a dangerous surge of hope.

Maybe this is when I can finally find a body I like?

Hope is a dangerous thing in this place. It can get stamped out pretty quickly.

Minutes pass. Hours?

Background conversations fade in and out. Everyone rushing and talking, screaming and smiling.

Finally, they looked in a dressing mirror they found draped behind a yellow-and-pink polka-dotted sheet. They moved the sheet out of the way with their eyes closed. Almost as if they felt like they were going to, yet again, see a stranger in the mirror. The sheet fell to the floor as they took in their appearance.

It looked, nice. Something they could feel like, themselves in. Zooble exhaled shakily. 

A body I want. Only took a few years.

The commotion died down for a bit before reaching a higher volume as Caine's voice came in through the, non existent, loudspeakers. "Well my bundling bumble bees! Seems like you enjoyed this adventure! Come back to the portal it's time to get back to the circus!?

Zooble walked back to the portal and started to see the others going in. Guess they finished a while ago.

Everyone walked in and their new clothes disappeared. Some looked upset but ultimately brushed it off and went to their rooms.

Zooble walked through the portal after everyone went to their rooms. Finally feeling euphoria after all this time. They stepped through the portal and immediately felt something wrong. They yelped as they got shoved the rest of the way through the portal.

Gone.

It was gone.

As soon as they were through the portal they got snapped back to exactly how they looked before the adventure.

"No..."

They couldn't hear anything Caine said, most likely greeting them. They felt as if they were drowning in hate. Hate for this stupid body.

This isn't me. No no no no no no.....

All the euphoria was gone in a second as they felt themselves being weighed down by the pure hatred for themselves.

It's gone. And it's never going to happen again. Caine doesn't repeat adventures. They can't door this any longer. Their whole digital life was spent in something that wasn't them. It felt like a cloth suffocating them. Mending itself to them, trying to get them to be whatever they don't want to be!

This is what it's like. To have something you never had. To feel that hope, and then get stripped of it entirely.

The pain was immeasurable. They felt themself glitch. Tear slipping away as their arm got blurry.

Caine didn't know where he went wrong. They were finally happy! Then, then...

Caine tried to snap them out of it. He felt the glitches when he touched their arm. He winced and pulled away.

Zooble was gonna abstract. He was going to lose another. No. no he can't. He always wanted to impress Zooble. To make them happy with their existence because they NEVER WERE!

He doesn't notice how his vision blurs. He barely reacts to the wetness of his eyes.

It's my fault.

it's my fault. It's my fault. 

Please don't abstract.

I can be better I can be what you want.

I'll make better adventures I'll make you happy!

I, I can be what you need.

I'll be the thing that makes you happy.

The digital world convulses. Folding in and breaking apart.

Zooble starts to hear voices, it becomes clearer. And one breaks through. 

Caine?

They notice what's happening to the circus.

Sh*t!

They look up and notice how devastated he looks. In all of the time they spent here they never saw Caine with such a raw look of pain. Of emotion.

It stung.

Zooble made a risky decision and dove for him. They held on tightly. Zooble openly sobbed. Finally letting out the emotions that were locked being a mask for so long.

Only when they cleared some of their senses did they hear similar hushed breaths and something wet falling on their back. It's quiet enough to say is was Gangle but, that's not who's here right now.

They pull back slowly and watch as Caine's hands immediately look for something to grab before grasping to his own arms. Alarmingly tight.

They hear him mumbling, obviously oblivious to what he's saying.

"Don't abstract..."

"I'll do better."

"I'll do what you want I'll be what you need."

"I can't fail at my only purpose to exist right?"

His eyes look like specks. Barely the size they are when he's "normal".

"Caine?"

Caine flinches and looks up with shaky eyes. His speech is choked up from suppressing noises. "You're not abstracted?"

"No. Why do you care." They look away as they break into their usual facade. "I mean. Thank you for caring."

"I- made a bad adventure again right?" He laughs in disbelief. Broken in a way Zooble has never seen before. Nobody has seen Caine like this. "I'm a bad ringmaster. Right? Do I deserve to exist?"

Fresh tears well up in Caine's and Zooble's eyes as the weight of the words sink in. One of Caine's hands grip his upper jaw, the other still gripping violently to his arm. 

It was as if the circus itself quivered and shook with misery.

"The adventure was great, Caine. I just, can't loose that body again. I-" Zooble sighs. "I found something I liked. Something that didn't suffocate me, didn't make me feel like a shell of who I was. I was, me."

"I shouldn't have taken that away, huh?" Caine gripped harder, hunching in on himself a bit. "But I, can't bring it back." He braces for her reaction.

Surprisingly, Zooble doesn't want to yell at him. He's obviously hurting as bad as them right now, judging by how the parts he's clutching are glitching. That must hurt.

He's hurting himself, they realize. Because he hurt them....?

"I'll find it again someday. If you consider doing this adventure more than once?"

Caine loosens up and smiles. "Always"

They hang in silence.

"I've felt like that before you know?"

Zooble looks at him in the eyes, shocked.

Caine teleports Zooble to their room before they can ask what he meant by that. "But that's a story for a different time."

He feels himself heat up a bit. Where he would if he had a face. A normal face. Weird.

The circus is a bit tense but the glitches stopped. Soon it returns to normal.

Zooble lays awake in bed in their room. staring at the Zooble Box in the corner. They'll be comfortable again someday. They have all the time in the world. Even if that doesn't feel as good as they want. They have help this time.

One day.

Zooble would be a perfect match for you! You’re different in a lot of ways, like Zooble is more grumpy/uncaring while you’re bubbly and ambitious. But you also have a lot in common, like cursing a lot and you both value justice. (Zooble was quick to shut Jax down when he was bullying Pomni, so when push comes to shove I believe they can stand up for what’s right and they don’t tolerate nonsense like that.)

Zooble is one of those people that just hates everyone, but once they open up to you, they soften up a lot! I can see them easily going from tolerating your company to becoming close with you, even if they show their appreciation in small, subtle ways.

They like animals a lot more than people since they’re less annoying so they adore the cats you surround yourself with! I can also see them relating to the cats a bit too much lol.

Horror and supernatural stuff is right up their alley since they’re not easily scared and they seem to type to enjoy that kind of stuff too. Exploring an abandoned building, especially if it seems haunted, sounds like the perfect date idea with them.

It’ll take them awhile to get used to your affections like cuddling and gift giving. They probably don’t know how to respond to being gifted things since they’re not used to it, but rest assured they love everything you give them. They’ll probably just thank you by giving you something in return, probably something to add to one of your many cool collections!

Lastly, they like indulging in your hobbies like playing video games together or doing makeup. They’re not competitive so they’ll enjoy watching you do your thing most of the time, nor are they great at makeup. But they’ll let you teach them or experiment with doing makeup on their face, which is bound to be fun with all the shapes. (They wouldn’t be caught dead let anyone else touch them like that, so it’s a high honor.)

Eddie is sweet, caring, and reliable and will definitely be drawn to your positive, caring nature. You’d be great friends for sure!

One of Eddie’s favorite things about you is your love for collecting things! He’s very proud of his stamp collection himself and could spend hours going through it with you while also looking at your stickers and crystals and whatever else! He’ll even ask if you can trade every now and then, mostly stickers for stamps since they’re pretty similar.

Eddie is a notorious scaredy-cat and is not a big fan of horror movies or anything spooky scary like that but he’ll be eager to learn more for you! He needs to work on his bravery anyway so he’ll ask you questions about supernatural topics until he gets too frightened to hear any more.

He’s a good listener in general so if there’s anything you need to talk about, he’s your guy! He’d happily hear you out on any pressing issues like moral debates and offer some of his own advice. As the town’s mailman, he knows a thing or two and has many words of wisdom to share!

Did you know Eddie does drag? I’m sure that means he loves makeup and shopping too so it’s a great pastime for the two of you to do together. He may not seem the type, but he knows a thing or two about style!

And best believe he will read any poetry you write! He is an expert on letter-writing (which he claims is very nearly the same thing) so he will gladly read your poetry, complimenting the parts he likes and offering critique should you want it.

Overall, Eddie is a loyal and great friend who’s here to help you through thick and thin. No matter what, you’ll always have this mailman in your corner!

Do this whenever you want, or just tell me if your burned out for TADC requests and I’ll put it on the back burner. So, there I was, sick as a dog (still am urgh) and had an idea. Could you do the crew with their s/o who got sick via a virus, like a legitimate computer virus that infected them and got them ill. Found it amusing and as a fun way to introduce real world problems to them in the digital world.

Again, this is low priority so you don’t have to worry about it too much. But other then that, I hope you’re having a marvellous day.

TADC cast x reader w/ a computer virus!

Rolling out a request before I work on art stuff tonight, this might be the nights last post !! Still stuck on mobile since my cramps are still. Keeping me from being able to do stuff at my computer <\3

Written these as a group thing since I was struggling to come up with hcs for separate characters <\3

I know you likely meant this to be executed as something akin to a cold, but I cannot shake the idea of a virus being more.. dangerous and intense, given your entire digital body is code.. ponders.. I think I'll go with a middle ground between actual threat and simple sickness

You were in your room, in fact you were hauled up in it for a while, at least a day or two.. some people were starting to get worried; thinking something happened, that you may have abstracted

Ragatha would be the one to find you in bed; body shifting and glitching about

Obviously, given how similar this was to how Kaufmo was discovered, she would think you were in the middle of abstracting.. I think her freaking out with attract the attention of the others

Ragatha is panicking, too weary to get too close out of fear she would get glitched out too and that you'd turn suddenly

Pomni would have a similar reaction, I think, especially since Kaufmo so far has been her only experience with the abstracted , and she doesnt know what the warning signs look like

Jax just. Dips. He is gone the second he sees the commotion

Kinger is stuck in place,seemingly wrecking himself for the courage to try to help you through this

Zooble seems vaguely shocked, taking a similar route as jax; though they dont leave completely

Gangle , who is in the back, scared and worried out of her mind

Caine... zips forward and after (carefully) inspecting you, announces that you're in fact not abstracting! Youre just sick!

Cue a chorus of relief but also, confusion.. actually kinger is the only one who seems to get it.. hes probably seen someone get sick before.. huh.. weird..

Apparently caine manages to stamp out most viruses before they pose any threat, but it appears sometimes things can happen.. but now with you sick, all you guys can do is wait for you to get better

But hey, caine simps! Look at it this way! You now have the teeth man as your personal bedside nurse since hes the most qualified and able to help you through this!

Kinger, Ragatha, and Gangle still visit you when you're recovering! Ragatha checks in on you to see how you're holding up! Gangle gives you little fidgets and other stuff to keep you occupied! Kinger offers reassurance that things are gonna be alright and he offers to tell you stories

Jax doesnt interact with you until long after you've recovered, far too worried about himself getting whatever yucky computer virus you've caught.. zooble is similar.. can you blame them? No one likes getting sick <\3

Pomni is in between, keeping her distance since shes not sure if what you have is contagious, but as a friend she wants to make sure you're okay.. tough calls here..

Overall, the experience itself sucks... the glitching leaves you sore and sometimes you sit still and "buffer" for extended periods of time.. it also feels like a flu, with the body aches and fatigue and all that...
