243?
That's Zoo! I've been rewatching X-files lately and it's just been reminding me how much I like Zoo. It's because of Zoo that I firmly believe that Mothman is Catholic. Follow an FBI agent as she tries to make sense of a whole bunch of cryptid nonsense.

even if youā€™ve never listened to naddpod, I implore you to listen to the new ā€œSurprise Roundā€ they released on the main feed which is just a straight hour of the cast debating how they would respond to a series of ridiculously unhinged hypothetical scenarios (content warning: heavy discussion of the grinch)

have you seen tusk? im not gonna lie its kinda a banger movie (once you get used to the walrus)
Oh pookums im so so sorry but that movie isnt my cup of tea im afraid šŸ˜ my reasoning is extremely subjective and personal; I prefer body horror that was more natural, like in the fly, the thing, or alien (if you can call that body horror). Something that changes within your body, not through operation (??) if that makes sense šŸ˜
also the plot didnā€™t really work for me I apologize šŸ˜šŸ™

Itā€™s Monday, so itā€™s time for another episode of Casual Trek!
Weā€™re celebrating the (final) return of Lower Decks by looking at a trio of animated episodes and the strange, strange creatures found in them.
Star Trek: The Animated Seriesā€™ ā€œEye of the Beholderā€ has an alien zoo run by some weird telepathic slug elephant aliens who donā€™t really understand the care and maintenance of humans.
Star Trek: Prodigyā€™s ā€œA Tribble Called Questā€ show us the freakiest tribbles since More Troubles, More Tribbles, including one that has a face!
Finally in Star Trek: Lower Decksā€™ ā€œI Have No Mouth, Yet I Must Fleeā€, the Cerritos is rescuing a couple of humans from a menagerie and encounter the adorably deadly Moopsy!

Happy Mother's Day from the Ueno Zoo! Thankfully there are no weird noises emanating from any administrative buildings in the area.

Pros to cellular: happens automatically, don't have to get naked for it
Cons to cellular: generates dust, you don't get the satisfaction of a peel without a sunburn
Pros to all at once: less dust, its a deliberate action, you get that peel
Cons to all at once: if it gets stuck in the eyes you can go blind, you have to deal wirh this huge chunk of skin, you have to peel your genitals too

The worst thing about zoo tycoon 2 is when the animals tell me they want to fuck. "Moose 4 wants to reproduce but can't find a mate" that's rough buddy I have ($83) I cannot help you.
The second worst thing is how much I have to wait around for ($83) to turn into $20,000 so I can buy the aminal I need.

Itā€™s time for another Star Trek movie as we talk about Star Trek III: The Search for Spock in Casual Trek!
Weā€™ve got a weird planet, Spockā€™s rapid-fire journey from baby to weird feral child to Leonard Nimoy. Also Christopher Leeā€™s glorious Klingon acting.
We also have another time one of the crew nicked the Enterprise with The Menagerie. We revisit the zoo for space perverts from The Cage and the unfortunate fate of Captain Pike.

In the same room for the first time in five years! This episode, Alex is taken to task for Super Family Computer crimes; the animated footballer at the airport; the Barnholt family takes to the skies; shopping and dining in beautiful Japan; Alex's brainlord delivery guy; getting burnt at the Higashiyama Zoo; Nintendo Store goodies; accosted by corvids; an entire land built of Lego; running down the hot new trailers from Summer Game Fest; the infuriating quest for permanent residence; tourism's amplification of Japanese xenophobia, and Twitter is still awful! Bring us up in therapy to receive $5 off your next order!
