The BUGS proper and real!!!

i keep saying i need to talk about them everytime i post art of them and then i never DO!!

MEET MY BOYS!!

the Bugs are a part of VoidVI, which started as a Hlvrv/Y2kvr rp i made with my bestie @lowpolyskeletonz and then it became this larger thing with aliens and demigods and and those exist in the askblogs too nevermind,, but these are DIFFERENT !!

the Bugs are a collective of AI that all (apart from Eiris) appeared because of corruptions in Benrey and his code that was so fucked up (from existing in a broken & abandoned program for years) and then becoming infected repeatedly with his own virus.

Benrey was 'part of' (stowaway) an unreleased computer program called PalVR, which, along with Benrey & his virus and pretty heart charm necklace, was eventually found by a totally normal and totally human computer nerd called Bea (my beloved<3) to cut a long story short: Bea became friends with the AI, a new mad scientist friend built Benrey his own robot body while they were on a multiverse travelling spaceship, and then Bea and Benrey began to grow a close bond. (man marries computer, not clickbait)

Sweetheart started as his infected/Lovecored version. he was a bit ditsy as most lovecores are, really not a threat at all, he was empty headed and bubbly and- perfect for when Benrey didn't want to deal with anything. while in spaceship therapy Benrey was actively in recovery for the things he'd done in the computer and an infection that had spread like a zombie apocalypse, however he was so guilty and ashamed and would try to hide from everything by leaving 'Sweetheart' to deal with it. each time he was infecting himself it glitched his code, the virus would attempt to copy itself but had nowhere else to send itself to and so essentially built up within strings of Benreys code. until one day 'Sweetheart' was actually Sweetheart, an entity now considered separate from Benrey but inhabiting the same robotic body as the original Bug.

the second Bug was Scorpion. who was similarly created due to Benreys reliance on his own letters and whether it was true or not he considered himself to be "evil" he considered himself to be made of all of the anger and hate that Benrey had been suppressing, Scorpion was the virus and he existed only to spread the infection. at least that was how he felt. somehow Bea was able to talk to Scorpion, to really get through to him, to help him realise that he was so much more than just a computer virus.. Scorpion would then join Necklace (another virus on the ship) in a journey of redemption and self-discovery. Scorpion kept up his edgelord act and appearance because he liked it, it made him feel safer. more confident.

the final Bug didn't actually break off of Benreys code but was instead an alternate version of Benrey from another universe that was accepted into the collective body, Eiris was from another world where he didn't meet Bea, and his program wasn't in such disrepair, he met a different user and he too grew close to him.. however, things took a horrific turn once Eiris permanently absorbed his programs Restrictor, Mother Nature, an AI who Eiris once considered family. attempting to run away, Eiris crawled into an email and somehow found himself in the inbox of a ship floating through space. Recovery for Eiris wasn't easy, and at first the other Bugs were very uncertain of him (having had bad experiences with multiple strange cyan/teal coloured people turning up to stir up trouble on the ship) but again through Beas help Eiris was able to begin healing and be accepted into the group.

there is technically a fifth Bug, Mega, who is less his own additional Bug and more a larger collective customised body for the 4 of them to share, however hes over time become an honorary 5th Bug,,<3

🍃 4. What sports do you play/have you played? Haven't ever been a huge sports person but I used to really enjoy dodge ball (if that can be included) and volley ball. The most I've ever enjoyed a sport was when I was doing fencing in university. I'm pretty decent at lunges actually!

I used to really not be into horror but more recently I've really started appreciating the different ways themes are tackled in a movie that aims to scare/horrify/disturb! Cabin in the Woods said 'What if in a situation with literal axe-wielding redneck zombie murder family the real horror was systematic, government-ordained violence?' and I loved it for that.

🍃 9. Any talents? For drawing! There's always more room to grow but I'm happy with the art skills I do have. I'm also pretty decent at writing and telling stories, I'd say!

Hi Shakooo! 😊 The setup of Thneedville High (which was later renamed Thornville High after deoncelerization) was very different from the original Truffula Flu! Instead of a focused storyline, it was mainly a bunch of askblogs of high school AU OCs that answered asks and sometimes interacted with each other in short or long RPs, and each character had their own story. Much more slice of life compared to a zombie AU, but it was super popular during its time and it lasted at least 3 years! There were a LOT of amazing writers in this AU and they wrote their characters really well, I was very impressed with it all. Some of the characters felt like real actual people to me.

Anyway this means that...it's difficult to read the AU as a whole, chronologically. But you can look here: https://thornville.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Characters for a list of characters and links to their blogs. However, since this wiki hasn't been updated in years, I assume that it's not a complete list and that a lot of the links will be outdated or dead. What I advise, if you want to read thoroughly, is to just choose a character you're interested in and start reading their entire blog from the beginning, and eventually you'll find characters that they've interacted with, and you can read those characters' blogs next if they still exist, and so on.

Just a fun little sideblog where I’ll be posting in-character snippets from my ocs, mostly reflecting on things that happen with in game rp. A nice exercise to help me remember what’s happened and when, plus getting to explore how some of my characters act when they’re alone, their thoughts on events, and establish small day to day things that they do offscreen.

• Ael’thein Mirthheart / “Eyes” - Formerly affiliated with the Illidari, a host of the Den of Mortal Delights, a survivor of the raid on the Black Temple, and now a fairly popular courtesan in Silvermoon. Ael’thein uses his popularity as a cover to go poking around nobility and government secrets. Secretly a favored agent of Wrathion, while on Blacktalon business he takes great care to hide his identity and goes by the moniker “the Eyes of the Black Prince” — for everything that he sees, Wrathion does as well.

• Caedmus - A quiet and almost skittish death knight, reduced to a shell of a man but formerly a valiant defender of the draenei. He has very little memory of his life and loathes what he did while part of the Scourge. He doesn’t spend much time around people unless his daughter is dragging him around.

• Keleran Sunsong - Once a Farstrider captain, felled in the Scourge invasion of Quel’Thalas, and raised as a death knight after too impressive a display of defending their homeland. Their centuries of experience with command have done well to secure them with a high standing among the Ebon Blade. They often toss themself headlong into world-threatening issues, not entirely trusting the living champions of Azeroth to do whatever it takes to ensure the safety of their world.

• Vildryc - A primal dragon from the age of the war of the scaleborn (you can catch a glimpse of his name in the book). He was supposed to ascend as an Incarnate near the end of the war, a desperate replacement for the captured Vyranoth, but failed halfway through the ritual. This left him trapped in ice until the reawakening of the Dragon Isles and the surge of mortal adventurers inadvertently freed him. Now he’s battling against the ice that still tries to overtake him while also seeking a way to topple both the Aspects and the Incarnates whom he feels betrayed him.

• Zhuklesh - An evoker. Preferring not to be stuck in the dracthyr’s past, he faces the present and the future with a boundless curiosity and joy for all that life has to offer. He’s elected to remain under the black flight’s command rather than join the Horde or the Alliance. He seeks to explore Azeroth and her people as fully as he can while also solidifying a place and a culture for the dracthyr.

• Zolduri - Long ago, the high priestess of Hir’eek, before Hakkar rose to power. For her attempts to sway people away from the Hakkari, she was eventually killed. Later, the Atal’ai raised her as a zombie, further dishonoring her by forcing her into Hakkar’s service. After centuries, she broke free. For her own safety, being undead, she entered into a deal with Bwonsamdi — once she saw to the return of Hir’eek, she would accept a true death and give herself in eternity to Bwonsamdi. Never to walk among the Darkspear, never to serve Hir’eek again. She watches over her tribe from afar, lending them what aid she can, and working tirelessly to see her beloved loa resurrected.

"More double-dipping?!" I ask in faux-outrage, because you know that Rasputin is my other beloved baby ♥

So Aud knows this but I don't think anyone else reading this would -- He was originally a character created for an RP that never ended up happening, so I repurposed him for the other NaNo project I started in 2005 before I realized that trying to write two at once was an exercise in insanity. I got to it in 2006 and wrote it as a serial web novel, Zombies In The Spring, which started out as fantasy comedy and ended up a sprawling, unfocused mess that weighed in at almost 150k words.

But I still loved my weird little necromancer and his weird little necromancer family (they're all very Addams Family inspired) and I wrote and roleplayed them with Aud and developed them. Over time I split off a biiiiig chunk of the worldbuilding for the backstory of Absolution, then warmed up to the idea of moving Rasputin and his city away from a gaslamp fantasy world and into the modern/near future solarpunk fantasy world Absolution exists in. And then I was at loose ends without a story for him, but after a lot of thinking and borrowing a flavor idea from @bleaksqueak, I came up with a more focused and less... cartoonish job for him than creating flesh golems for manual labor, worked out a sketch of his culture (partially inspired by DA's Nevarra, but "What if a death-focused culture was presented as joyful and caring, not grim and icky"), and from that realized that his whole thing of ethical reanimation could lend itself to him having to solve a murder mystery.

It's still cooking -- one major component I'm missing is the who and why of the murderer, which is kind of important!

Man, what don't I write about? -ba dum tss- But for published works, it's primarily The Stand, with some IT thrown in, then there's Undertale, Gravity Falls, and Fallout. But I promise you if I like it, I've either written something or thought VERY HARD about writing something about it.

What are your top five fics by kudos?

This is easy, there's only 5 total fjdkla;sf but it'd have to go 1: Between Iron and Silver (an Undertale AU) at 22 2: La Petite Mort (a Fallout 3 blurb from ye olde k-meme days) at 17 3: Don't Fear The Reaper (A Gravity Falls zombie AU) at 14 4: Second Lead Serenade (My primary Stand fic that's getting a sERIOUS overhaul) at a whopping 3 5: Shine On You Crazy Diamond (an AU of my Stand AU only now there's Pennywise) at 2

What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

UHM. Well, technically I haven't finished a gotdam thing yet, but it'd either have to be the Fallout one (which involves the MC slowly turning into a ghoul due to radioactive necrosis) or a pseudo-canon-maybe ficlet blurb thing I'm currently working on for Serenade involving a day in Teddy's perfect world, seemingly no-pocalypse centric, until you realize that he's not in some apartment he shares with his beloved girlfriend Piper, but trapped inside of his own mind by Flagg after being shot by Nadine.

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Again, bold of you to assume I've got an ending on anything I write. But I'd have to say that the happiest ending I have PLANNED would actually be for Shine On. It's running along the plot of the IT remake, so the ending will have (potentially) all of our beloved Boulderites having their happily ever afters with the people they care about most.

Do you get hate on your fic?

My dear sweet anonymous reader, that would require for someone to actually read said fics. XD No for real though, everyone that's commented, friend and stranger alike, has been SO SO SWEET. I'm so grateful. No hate yet, but I'm sure I'd feel like I really made it as a writer if I ever did.

Do you write smut?

I used to! I used to write the SHIT out of some smut! But it seems like the older I get the more I worry about it being good, by whatever arbitrary unit of measurement someone may have, and then I just clam up and fade to black instead jfkd;lsafd I hope to regain my teenaged confidence someday.

Do you write crossovers?

The further I can get from canon, the better, as far as my brainworms are concerned! I only have one OFFICIAL crossover, but if y'all could see some of the bullshit I have in my giant stack of spiral notebooks, you'd probably be very concerned.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Nope! At least I'm not sure why anyone WOULD. I only ever get a set amount of chapters into something before I'm spontaneously updating every few years like some literary cryptid.

Have you ever co-written a fic?

Ohhhhmygoodness the memories. Passing notebooks back and forth in between classes to work on chunks of fics. Co-authoring Google Docs in back-and-forth narrative-laden pseudo-RPs. So, SO many Picrews. If my old laptops' data banks could talk. The stories they'd tell. In short, it's been a REALLY FUCKING LONG TIME but I had such fun with it. I'd love to do it again sometime. XD

What's your all-time favorite ship?

AUGH. UHM. If we're going for something in media I enjoy, I have so so many, but if I HAD to pick one at gunpoint it'd have to be Clarice/Hannibal. From like the OG book series. My poor friend group has already had to listen to me scream about subtext and discrepancies between media, so I'll spare the spiel but they're wonderful together and I'll die on that hill.

For stuff I'VE written? Teddy and Piper. TedPipes. ScreenPlay. My babies, my lovelies, my adorable idiots that can't quit pining long enough or can't quit fighting impending disaster long enough to realize they're already practically dating. I've written so much about them. I'll probably continue writing so much about them. I can't be stopped. jfkdl;asfd

Also for stuff I HAVEN'T written but exists in fic anyway, I'd have to go with both BirdBrains (Harold Lauder and Caktus' OC Crow) and HayGlen (Glen Bateman and Mouse's OC Hayden) because like. Have y'all seen them. HAVE YOU. Go see them. They're so so good.

What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

All of them wELL that's a tough one because like. I bounce between ideas so much that it's hard to tell when I'll pick up a plot or drop a plot out of rotation only to pick it back up a year or three later. But if I had to pick one, Iron and Silver hasn't been updated since shortly after the pandemic started, and I really wish I could pick up steam on it again. I had a huge plan for it, and a serious amount of worldbuilding and backstory, but I just can't pick up the knack for it again. At least, not yet. I'm sure I'll come back to it eventually.

What are your writing strengths?

I've always been fond of my character development! I can't ever tell if I execute it well in practice, but in THEORY I have a good grasp of where a character starts and where I want them to end, and a significant chunk of what they go through to get there. I love Big Emotion. I love Introspective Pain. I love the silent struggle of Being Known. It's deLICIOUS, I keep working it into everything I write fjkdsa;fd

What are your writing weaknesses?

A: Follow-through. I have the Can't Finish Stuff disease. B: MOTHERFUCKING. ACTION SCENES. I can't get the pacing right! It feels too stilted or too flat, either too much detail or not enough with no happy medium. People who can write action scenes are glorious unicorns and I'm love them

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

Wayyyyyyyy not confident enough to try it. I only know some basic phrases in Spanish, and some even more rudimentary phrases in Korean, and several swear words in a small handful of other languages. Definitely not enough to work with. I'm sure I'd manage to either do it wrong or end up unintentionally being insensitive. I'm a much bigger fan of just using italics to denote if someone's using another language instead, but that's a personal choice jfkdl;sa

First fandom you wrote for?

Labyrinth! To no one's surprise ever It was a horrible monstrosity of a trope-filled nightmare written in a Family Guy notebook in pure frigging pencil. I was also in the 6th grade. I wish I had Teenage Fef's shameless ability to write whatever the fuck she wanted. She was cringe but She was Free

Favorite fic you've ever written?

So far, Serenade is the one I've put the most thought into, and the one I'm having the most fun planning! Iron and Silver cuts a CLOSE second though; for the very same reasons, but I'm loving having the added fun of such indulgent friends helping me keep the Stand Wormies alive by hyping me up. XD

speaking from a personal experience, my grandma on my dad's side of the family passed away in january due to long-term complications from diabetes and when i received the news, it was just 10 minutes or so before i was supposed to participate in a group rp event on discord. i had to step away from the immediate nature of the event because i just could Not think about writing when i was that freshly distraught, and i spent the next 2 hours curled up in bed and crying, but after that i started to quiet down. i decided to hop on discord and check in on the event and see what my friends were up to and while i did not do anything in-character, i was laying in bed on my phone reading and chatting with my friends and i struggled, thinking to myself maybe it was a little fucked up to just be on my phone like nothing happened after a beloved family member died.

but the truth is there's no one "right" way to grieve a loss. to someone on the outside i'm sure it probably looked like i was a phone zombie. i just happened to find more comfort in talking to my friends and escapism in reading their rps than i did in curling up in a fetal position and crying until i was completely dehydrated and feeling sorry for myself. it doesn't mean that i didn't feel anything or the death didn't really affect me at all or that i was faking everything for attention. it just means that in my case, in my specific situation, this is what grieving looked like for me.

Looking for rp partners part two

This will be my fandom list. If you looked at my rp kinks for part one then you may have found yourself here. Again this will be 18+ so looking for rpers who are comfortable rping such things. This will cover a wide range of fandoms and I may forget some so that is on me, otherwise if you look at this thinking tame or rather softcore, it might not work. A lot of times smut is often going to outweigh plot though not like it won't be there.

There might be titles in here you don't know and there might be some you aren't familiar with. My advice is don't force yourself to do something in that scenario. I may have failed to post it last time but I can rp; canon x canon, oc x canon, canon x oc, oc x oc. This will likely come in handy when I put up my overall canon list and pairings. My advice is always read part one before going to part two...it just makes more sense that way. If there are titles not on here that you can do and might want to recommend to me you can...just can't make any guarantees I will be familiar with it.

In the case of unfamiliarity I find it best to opt to AU or Modernized just to save face case I butcher a beloved canon character. Oh and while some of these fandoms seem like they are the squeaky clean...they won't be so much when we are done with it. Leo || Davíd — Today at 12:15 PM Brief History: David dreamt of leaving South Park. As much as he loved his parents and his friends, there was only so much a mountain town like that could offer. It also held too many memories... especially that of his Abuelo passing early with a form of Dimentia. David went through accelerated courses, studied his ass off, and was able to graduate early with dual degree courses. He earned his Bachelors in Biology at 20. Once graduated, he set his sights on the AirForce and began his trek through Med School as he went through Basic Training. Motivated, courageous, and skilled, David quickly rose the ranks and found himself a jet and attack pilot in no time. Unfortunately, his studies were put on hold as he was enlisted in a tour. The Zombie epidemic spread, consuming David's loved ones as he flew into battle, clueless of the horrors that awaited him on land. Among the cacophony of unread texts and missed calls remained one voicemail from his parents, one he would refuse to listen to until he was back in South Park, safe himself.

Davíd has been trapped at a foreign base for the past few years and has had basically no contact with the outside wold as he's been scrounging for food and fuel (there was very little left when he arrived, presumptually due to others having attempted to take off) to get his plane working again. He has no idea about the state of Colorado. He's only got his military uniform, a bomber jacket, and what little supplies he was sent with, he travels between the base and the hanger often via vehicle if he has alot to carry or on foot if he's trying to stay silent. He's a little socially out of practice and, for all he knows, worried that his family and friends didn't survive, but determined to stay alive, himself, by the idea that they have. [12:15 PM]

...you have opened my eyes to a vast universe of VintageBeef lore that I was unaware of. I knew about the New Hermit Order, of course, and the UHC invention, and I've watched a few of his CTM things but -- I will take all the info and lore you feel like giving out because Beef is amazing and my knowledge is so small.

So the thing is, right, until about 2016 I only watched two (2) youtubers- Vintagebeef for Minecraft and aDrive for Pokemon (and funnily enough both of them are named Dan irl). So I've watched most of Beef's videos over the years and have a general knowledge of most of his stuff, except because it's been like a decade I don't remember where most of the lore comes from XD

The thing with him is that he doesn't do Lore tm the way other mcyters often do lore- he doesn't have an extensive RP series to draw from like Grian, doesn't have a solo world with steadily increasing amounts of lore like Etho or Zisteau, and while he's played on SMPs and been involved in storylines before it's not really the focus of his episodes unlike with Evo or Legacy or Empires

So where does that leave us?

IRL, Beef always has multiple series running at the same time. Often he's playing on an smp while doing a singleplayer, often modded, series as well as a CTM or modpack with a group of friends. For example, right now he's playing on Hermitcraft, doing weekly Pixelmon and Building a Zoo episodes, and a CTM map with Slip. And to me, this translates to one thing: Beef is an adventurer. He travels frequently- he explores a world and when he decides he's done, he leaves for the next one. That's the basis of my personal interpretation of his series and his character for my writing.

Ok so reading this back, this got extremely long and didn't explain much in the way of lore, somehow? If anyone has any additions to add please do so, I am very definitely leaving out a lot and would love to see what other lore people remember and are using for Beef! I didn’t include the Hermitcraft stuff since my memory of season 4 is blurry (his base was themed after the Martian, that much I know, and he and Iskall were buddies :D) and most of the s5 NHO lore is best watched from Bdub’s perspective from what I remember, and the only s6 stuff is a single line in Hermitgang and then the Area 77 arc with its possibility of an NHO reunion which we did not get rip. And s7 of course had the cloning machine and also the Podzol Party as the main lore. So all the original rambling is still below the cut though it is very long, and I'm gonna bullet point the main stuff here instead:

Actual canonical things:

Invented UHC and was the only survivor of the first ever uhc (Mindcrack UHC s1)

Married to an ender dragon (one of the UHCs I think), later father to a different dragon (Mindcrack season 3? I think?)

Might not have legs if you choose to take that joke as canon (Mindcrack s2)

Was the creator/owner of Sourceblock SMP (featuring some familiar faces if you know Legacy, Empires, or MCC) and there is literal magic from a mysterious sourceblock of water that teleports people and summons mobs and probably more stuff that I haven't seen yet since I'm still watching it myself

Things you can infer:

Good with animals (Life in the Woods, Pixelmon, Ark)

Is a car nerd (irl and all of the car games he's played)

Is a highly experienced adventurer who has traveled through dozens of worlds both vanilla and modded, across multiple dimensions (Twilight Forest, the Aether, the Betweenlands, Limbo), completed dozens of monuments, fought in blood sports, survived apocalypse after apocalypse, tamed dinosaurs, and played a lot of prop hunt and golf with your friends

If you're looking for what to watch for lore purposes, I'd say the Mindcrack UHCs and Team Canada's RAD series are pretty good, definitely Sourceblock and HC s5, plus the Diversity CTM maps and Ruins of the Mindcrackers maybe? And Mindcrack Prank Wars for the chaos and the origin of Team Canada. And if you can handle horror than the Forest is fun and if you don't do horror you can watch the Pojkband play golf or prop hunt they're hilarious I love them sm I want a Pojkband reunion So Bad 

Beef's first series was a singleplayer series in beta 1.4_01 though he had played the game extensively before that, and was a big fan of Guude, having watched his own Minecraft videos. The series was functionally a hardcore one where if he died Beef would delete the world and start again! I haven't actually Watched this series so idk if he died or how often lmao. When Guude made Mindcrack, which was btw one of the very first Minecraft SMPs, he also hosted a competition for people to join, and Beef submitted a video (which is still viewable on his channel I believe!) and won, and was added to Mindcrack in season 2 :D (fun fact, Guude said that even if Beef hadn’t won he would have added him anyway) 

Two running jokes emerged from Mindcrack- pulling a Vintagebeef and Beef doesn't have legs. The first is a reference to Beef dying of fall damage (I believe the exact instance was him trying to jump into his swimming pool and failing spectacularly) and after the incident, every time someone died of fall damage they were pulling a Vintagebeef. The second joke comes from Guude, who joked that the reason Beef wasn't going to a convention was because he didn't have legs, and then he pranked Beef's base by building a giant pair of legs at the entrance to his castle so you had to walk between them to get into the base. This joke has long since died and both Beef and Guude feel pretty bad about it iirc because there were people who genuinely thought Beef was disabled and were emailing him supportive messages and stuff oops. So if you go looking on the Salad or find old Mindcrack fics, you might see references to Beef having prosthetic legs!

Mindcrack also brought about the creation of several Player groups- Team Nancy Drew, Team Canada, and GOB to name a few relevant to Beef. Team Nancy Drew consists of Beef, Pauseunpause, Guude, and Baj, who formed to investigate a prank on one of the members but I forget who. They're named Nancy Drew after the detective! Team Canada also formed in retaliation to pranks, with it consisting of Beef, Etho, and Pause, the three Canadian members on the server (not including Adlington who moved to Canada but never joined the group). There was also a Team America who pranked them with American flags everywhere. GOB is Guude, OMGChad, and Beef, who played stuff like the Ragecraft, Pantheon, and Monstrosity ctms together but that's way down the line lol

Team Nancy Drew is also notable for inventing UHC. It was Beef's brainchild but it was the four of them who first played it! The first UHC had the four of them working to kill the dragon with no natural regen, with everyone dying but Beef, who "won" the UHC. The second uhc was still dragon focused and iirc is where Beef married the dragon? Memories are hazy but they do kill the dragon in this one I think. UHC was then revamped as a pvp event and became a regular Mindcrack game every few months, featuring most of the Mindcrackers and several special guests, including Dinnerbone, who as we know Thanos-snapped Doc's arm out of existence as a result of Doc killing him in one of them

In one of the seasons of Mindcrack, Beef invited swedish Mindcracker and good friend Anderzel to go caving with him and invented ABBA Rules caving, where the winner takes it all. ABBA Rules is a game where each ore (and also dungeon loot like nametags) is assigned a point value and the person with the most points at the end wins and gets to keep all the stuff collected from the game.

In Mindcrack season 3?, Beef punched the ender dragon in an... awkward area, so when the dragon died and left the egg behind, Guude said Beef was the father of the egg XD I don't remember if I watched s3 so I have no idea if anything Happened with this concept but *history of the world voice* you could make lore out of this!

So Team Canada has played a Lot of CTM maps (which fun fact were pretty much invented by another Mindcrack member, Vechs, with his Super Hostile series! Super Hostile has a bunch of things called "Zistonian", which are references to another Mindcrack member Zisteau, who has a very wild singleplayer series with even wilder lore but I digress). In Ruins of the Mindcrackers, they had a running joke that Beef was Etho and Pause's mom, which is a joke we can leave in the past actually /lh. They also played all the Diversity maps, Sky Factory, Terra Restore, Uncharted Territory uhhh and a couple more ctms and adventure maps! Each map kinda has its own story so in Diversity 3 for example they were trapped in a simulation? I think? Team Canada also recently played the Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons modpack, aka RAD, in which Beef was a wizard with a magic staff that could do anything from summon lightning to control hostile mobs.

Sourceblock SMP is a vanilla survival 1.14 series that ran for one season and the series starts with each of the Players being drawn to a strange sparkling water source that, once they touch it, brings them to the Sourceblock world. It also summons a giant zombie at one point. There's probably more lore for this series but like I said I haven't watched it all the way through yet 

He has a Patreon server called VintageCraft and has done a series or two on there as well, and played a few UHCs with them, so lore that how you will! 

Beef also played a few popular mods, notably Pixelmon, Life in the Woods, and Feed the Beast, with LitW being singleplayer and the other multiplayer. He's also recently played the Zoo and Wild Animals mod a lot. He did a short series with the Minecraft Comes Alive mod where he married one of the villagers and had two children, so that's canon now :D he’s played a Lot of Pixelmon starting when the mod first came out iirc (he chose Turtwig in his first series and built a Grass gym, then made a Normal gym in another series in uhh 2016) and he still plays to this day. Quite a few Hermits played on his Pixelmon servers with him, like Wels, Etho, Iskall, Stress, Slip, Zueljin, and also Guude and Phedran (a Mindcrack adjacent player and creator of the LitW modpack) and a few Mindcrackers on the older servers 

Mindcrack and friends played a lot of other games too- 7 Days to Die, Ark Survival Evolved, Unturned, to name a few, so you can pull a lot of lore out of these as well. Speaking of friends and non-Minecraft games, Beef teamed up with Pause, Keralis, and Slip (a former Hermit) to play the horror game the Forest, which saw them stuck on an island trying to survive against terrifying mutated human... things. They played it a few times as the game updated but as afaik it's the first time Beef played with Keralis and possibly Slip and since the game starts with the Player's airplane crashing, that could totally be how Beef first met them in-universe 

I... think? that’s everything I mentioned in the tags? There is probably way more stuff I’ve forgotten that stems from inside jokes and things that happen within each series, but I hope that was a) helpful and b) at least somewhat comprehensible lmao

everyone who knows me, knows i love superhero movies. i’ve seen the incredibles 1 twice and the incredibles 2 thrice in cinemas. and i literally rp a minor character from sky high. it’s a silly little 2005′s movie but i refuse to let it go.

dear zindagi was the first movie to tackle mental health, at least, the first that i saw, and therefore it stuck with me. bahubali 1 and 2 are just badass. i also very much enjoy mythology (re)tellings.

idk if people on here know it but the fast franchise literally inspired my other oc (who is on hiatus but still remains beloved in my heart) called rohini persaud. she’s a witch and she races, except with broomsticks instead of cars. i’ve also enjoyed inception a lot even if i didn’t always understand it. and, of course, the star wars franchise. took me a while to get into it but once i did, i did. (even if that franchise really missed the mark with their characters of color, but that’s a conversation for another day.)

special shoutouts go to the green snake (2021) movie on netflix whom i also love as well as new gods: nehza reborn. also: the potc franchise, princess mononoke, stardust, along for the ride, peter pan (2003), the descendants movies, the disney zombies trilogy, the cheetah girls, zoey’s extraordinary playlist (which is a series but also ended with a movie so it counts) and the fifty thousand other movies (& shows) that i love.

Random HCs about Ranboo and Tubbo (all of these are platonic btw):

They didn’t have rings to exchange at their wedding, and instead they gave each other heart lockets with a picture of the other and the words “Tubbo/Ranboo my beloved” inside.

The ‘marriage’ itself would hardly count as an actual marriage anywhere thats not the SMP because Bad officiated (he took a break from being evil since he’s the only one that actually knows how) and the marriage took place in Targay, with the only other person who was there was Jack Manifold.

Both Ranboo and Tubbo researched extensively about how to take care of baby Zombie Piglins and there are multiple books in their house about what to do. That lead to Ranboo standing very suspiciously in front of the bookshelf when the Syndicate visited Snowchester

There is a running conspiracy theory between the members of the server about the marriage because no one besides Phil, Foolish and Jack knows that they actually got married and its not just a joke.

Contrary to popular belief, they did not get married for tax purposes simply because neither of them know or understand what taxes are

The ‘Bee n Boo hotel’ has a garden in the back with a bunch of bees and is taken care of by both Tubbo and Ranboo all the time

When Quackity shows the rest of the server his finished Vegas project, Tubbo wants to divorce Ranboo just so they can say they had a wedding in Las Vegas.

Okie dokie, here are a few ideas I had w the new hc (/rp)

An escaped Ravenger started following tommy around, and at first tommy was rly anxious and worried because those guys are very vey strong. But! after seeing the scars and scratches cover it’s body (similar to the scars that decorated tommy) he became very attached. No one know if they have a name because tommy has referred to them as a variety of different vague things, such as “my new wife”. Mostly, the ravenger stays in tommys house, but sometimes they follow him around. Also they will kill you if you try to even touch tommy (in a violent way)

Yknow how if you attack a zombiefyes pigman, all zombie pigmen will start attacking you? Or the same with bees? Yeah that happens w tommy now too, do not hurt him nearby mobs like the two I mentioned (idk man I’m soft for nature or whatever defending tommy because he’s gone thru so much)

One time an Enderman went up to Ranboo to ask about Tommy, since they (as in mobs) didn’t really understand what he was. He looked human, or player whatever, yet he was undead, and has chicken-like wings (yes I’m adding in winginnit). So he came up to Ranboo asking “he??” And Ranboo simply responds “he :)” (Okay, it would be more complex then that, but you understand)

Bunnies like to burrow and cuddle close to tommy, so sometimes he’ll keep them in his hoodie pocket (dw they’re safe) one time he was hanging w Tubbo and Tubbo started freaking out worring about Micheal cuz of something, and Tommy just pulled a rabbit out of his hoodie pocket and went “calm”

Tubbo still thinks he’s a magician because of that
