This guy has me stumped. As far as I can tell, he most closely resembles a 9-Dotted Ground Spider, except some of his 'dots' are more like dashes (not to mention the third pair of dots being pink??). Regardless he looks fantastic, and I was somehow lucky enough to get a pic of this fast-moving species (much like the N. coloripes I posted earlier, although this guy is a different genus).
9-Dotted Ground Spider(?), male (Habronestes hunti).

Hello!
I have found a small, small little tiny baby boo of a spider in my bathroom, on a bath wall! I'm including a picture, with my hand for size! It's impossibly tiny! But do you maybe know, or have any ideas as to what kind of spider it might be? I must say it is a cute little animal. I live in northern Poland near to the sea, if that helps! Bath is by the window, so it might have been from the garden i guess? Also we have met some giant European house spiders inside the house and I'm afraid of them. And tips on not being so so scared?
Ps. I've been following your blog for a while and I have learnt a lot, and You helped me cope with my arachnofobia and fear of all insects and worms!!! You are the best, thank you for your blog and the time you put into it!! 💚 Wishing you a good day 💐
Hi there! It looks to me like an ant spider in Zodariidae, possibly the European ant-eating spider, Zodarion rubidum. They’re very tiny and mimic ants so they can hunt them. I think that’s the most likely, but it’s pretty blurry, so could potentially be something like an ant-mimic jumper instead.
Giant house spiders may look scary but they’re harmless! As for your spider fear, pretty much doing what you’re doing is the best way to get over your fear! Not to talk myself up but this blog can be a big help since gradual, safe exposure is key - educate yourself about them (the great majority are not harmful in any way!) and look at photos and videos. Slightly more in depth explanation of that here.
Thanks for sharing your tiny friend and also for your kind words!

#667 - Zodariid Ant Spider
The Zodaraiid ground spiders are small to medium-sized eight-eyed spiders found world-wide in tropical to warm temperate areas.
Some zodariids are ant mimics - not unusual among spiders, where it can be useful protecting them from attack (ants being distasteful) but because it also enables them to sneak up on ant prey. Zodariids live near a nest of ants of their target species, and use their mimicry to enter and leave the nest unmolested. They walk on the three rear pairs of legs, and if they encounter an ant touch their forelegs to her antennae in the same way as another ant would with its own antennae. And if they have already captured an ant, they offer it towards the challenging ant, which inspects the corpse and behaves towards the spider as if it were another ant on funeral duty.

I've got a little spider I saw before quarantine. Location: Hong Kong
Ohhh I love the look of this dude! I think it’s the first submission I’ve gotten from Hong Kong, too. Exciting. Probably something in Zodariidae, maybe an ant-eating spider in Mallinella? Very cute either way. Thanks for sharing!
