You know, with the whole "wait boys are cute now, what?" thingy that I've been dealing with recently (I'm cool with it, but gets a bit overwhelming sometimes), actually developing a personality, starting to have dreams and expectations for the future and now with me rediscovering and falling in love with a rock band that peaked in the late 2000's I'm starting to think that I managed to grow into a teenager in my mid 20's.

I've been thinking about Leon's music taste. We all know he likes grunge and alternative rock (in english), but then I thought—what if he likes hispanic songs too? There are tons of artists and bands, which I think Leon would love, so that's exactly what I'm doing here.

Luka Couffaine: Hogwarts AU

Luka Couffaine is a Half-Blood wizard that was born on the 2nd of December 1978 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1990, being sorted into Ravenclaw House.

He is the son of a Muggleborn rockstar but since his parents divorced when he was just a baby, he and his twin sister never knew the truth about their father even if they actually grew up to become some of his fans.

Their mother didn't like that very much since she still resented their father but she didn't try to stop her children from listening to him though since she knew that her children subconsciously remembered their father and found peace with his music because of that.

When he started attending Hogwarts, he quickly became popular due to his good looks and laid-back nature but that still didn't stop other people from bullying his twin sister for her shy demeanor which he always tried his best way to prevent.

When he became a member of Makarov's Army in his sixth year, he met and became friends with his first girlfriend Marinette (who was also one of his sister's friends) who he was together with for a whole year.

Marinette did eventually make him and his sister sit down for a talk where she admitted that she wasn't in love with Luka anymore and had fallen for one of her best friends but Luka had already figured this out and was glad to go back as friends, wanting her to be happy.

It was around this time when Luka and Juleka found out that the famous rock Star Jagged Stone and while they were surprised and a little mad that their mother didn't tell them (and that their father had chosen fame over his children), they were willing to start a relationship with their father and their (future) step-mother.

When the Muggleborn Registration started in 1997, Luka decided to go along with his father and step-mother on the run since he had developed a closer relationship with his father than his sister but eventually he came back to Hogwarts to participate in the Battle of Hogwarts which he not only survived but also helped with the defeat of Hawk Moth.

After the Second Wizarding War was officially over, he and his sister's band went viral and, while he did enjoy the bachelor life for awhile, he eventually got married to Zoé Lee who he had twin girls together with.

He had a Beech wand with a Phoenix Feather core.

His Patronus is a King Cobra.

His favorite subjects were Divination and Transfiguration.

His least favorite subjects were Defense Against the Dark Arts and Flying.

Sooo somehow the new Miraculous game feels even cheaper than the first one

Characters seem jerky, like they snap around like rubber bands

You can walk somewhere to trigger a cutscene and then they'll get moved back where they were

Camera is real finicky and platforming can be hard when you can't see where you're going

I'm moving around pretty quickly but it looks like speed is an upgradeable Stat so I wonder how bad that gets- and I'm not sure if I can avoid leveling it altogether or if the game is going to force me to raise all my stats together

There's no music for this one section I'm currently on, hope that changes soon

And the game constantly sounds like it is trying to connect to the internet and failing, it just repeats that weird sound effect

On a plot note

Andre is abusing his authority to be nice to Zoé, though I assume she doesn't know

Also several teammates popped up out of nowhere even though Ladybug never gave them their Miraculous, they just show up transformed

Yeaaaah I didn't bother with the new game, since I didn't even finish the old one. They really didn't put much effort in it seems.

Class of Heroes AU: More Headcanons!!!

As a treat, folks, after which I might be done for a few days. Unless I think of something I just HAVE to share, lol. Have some more Headcanons!

*Ondine is the youngest of seven daughters. Their names are Olivia, Ophelia, Octavia, Olga, Oona and Olympia.

*She and Kagami are in Mendeliev’s class (Yen Sid in this AU.) Her classmates, especially Denise and Aurore are protective of her because of her naïveté and lack of knowledge of the surface world. They and Kim have had to get her out of dangerous situations where her curiosity got the better of her.

*Kim was raised by his two mortal fathers after his uncle’s henchmen turned him into a mortal. (His biological parents are, of course, Zeus and Hera.) He buys them a huge house once he’s successful as a hero.

*Xuppu serves as Pegasus, but he actually likes Ondine because she’s just too darn sweet. He’s always nosing Kim out of the way to receive affection from her.

*Kim was NOT very well-liked back in his hometown for his lack of control over his strength. He was often shunned and called horrible names for the accidents he caused, as well as his lack of intellectual prowess. This, and his discovering his true heritage, was what made his fathers decide to send him to the school.

*In this AU, Kagami has three younger brothers: Daisuke, Daijiro, and Daiki. True to Brave, they are demon spawn. (Their father died in battle.)

*I’m changing something from a previous post: Plagg is still Mushu, but Tikki is now Cri Kee. She is silently judging you.

*Adrien does not fence in this AU. His preferred weapon is a certain cooking implement.

*Nino has a tendency to add ‘Bibbidi-Bobbidi’ before other B words. (“What a Bibbidi-Bobbidi bummer, bro!”) Some people think it’s funny, others find it annoying.

*Ivan has mild kyphosis(I had to look this up), which causes him to slightly hunch over and have mild to moderate back pain.

*Alya works jobs at diners before and after school to bring in extra money for her family. She is one of few students who work.

*Mylene has a habit of sometimes speaking in rhyme, especially when she’s really happy about something. Ivan thinks it’s very cute. (This is a nod to the original animated film.)

*Max likes to listen to Fall Out Boy (heh) while he works on his machines. What? Nerds can like rock music! (He is Hiro Hamada, to clear up confusion!)

*He transferred to Francois Preparatory Academy from a prestigious tech institution after an…incident that he doesn’t like to talk about.

*Sabrina (Pinocchio) was part of a puppet show as a young child. She often has nightmares about the abuse she suffered there, and Aurore is needed to come comfort her.

*Cosette is incredibly close with the other four members of their band, sharing a sibling-like bond. It calls and face-times with them on a regular basis, and has introduced them to all of her new friends.

*When Lacey gets especially angry, her face turns bright red and she’ll launch into a rant in ‘fairy-speak’ (the squeaking noises that the humans hear in the TB movies). Her wings also start fluttering rapidly and she sometimes slams into the ceiling…

*When Marc was young, he accidentally struck his younger brother, Kiran, with his ice magic. Their mothers, the queens, didn’t blame him, but sadly they died in a shipwreck only a few months later. After that, the cruel royal advisor convinced Marc that he was a dangerous monster and isolated him from the kingdom and his brother.

*Zoé has a list of 65 different chores she has to do for Chloé each day. They eat up a lot of her time, but not as much since her friends started helping her. They’re working on convincing her to make Chloé do them herself.

*Denise prefers to sleep outside amongst the trees, because it reminds them of their stump back home. Simon brought them a pillow and a blanket one night because he was worried about them.

*When Reshma is agitated by something or someone, you can tell because poison ivy starts sprouting up around her feet.

*Bustier is still a suck-tastic teacher. She will scold Kim and Marinette harshly for damage they cause completely by accident (her clumsiness and his strength), she berates Ivan for bad posture despite it literally being a physical health condition, she frequently suggests that Adrien should cut his hair because it looks too feminine, she regularly threatens Alix with legal action for incidents with her kleptomania despite her almost always returning what she takes, she forces Juleka to sit in the back of the room and doesn’t often allow her to speak lest she ‘frighten’ other students, she has outright referred to Sabrina as an ‘it’ (meaning an object, a non-living piece of wood, not the pronouns, which are completely valid.) and a ‘toy’ rather than a girl, and of course, she lets Chloé get away with everything.

I’m looking for ideas for Lila and Felix, baddie and anti-hero respectively, as well as a fitting new name for Mor’du. Be sure to check out my poll about Chloé!

I’m Not Her (and I’ll Never Be) - Ao3

Chloé knew she was late, she was always late, you say whatever you want about Marinette but she wasn’t late in the ways that mattered. Chloé had been emotionally stunted and immature for years, she didn’t catch social cues till it’s been two too many beats, had things go over her head even. It wasn’t her fault, she knew that, but sometimes it sure felt like she had poisoned herself.

She’d ruined her own future and messed up a lot, but this felt like the Universe shoving it down her face. Telling her, “Look. This could’ve been you.”

Chloé swallowed, looking between the two, “I’m so happy for you.” Chloé smiled at Zoé, “You deserve nothing but happiness.”

Her sister smiled, too entrapped in her own euphoria to notice how forced Chloé’s own was, “Thank you Chloé,” she hugged her sister tightly.

“Yes, congratulations are in order,” Damian stated with a bright smile at his best friend. Jon seemed to shine with pride, Chloé watched as Damian brought Jon into a hug. Jon gave Chloé his big beautiful smile, her gut twisted with guilt.

He was happy.

Her sister was happy.

Chloé looked back to her sister, her smile more easy when she saw her rosy cheeks. Chloé raised her eyebrows and yanked her hand up, “Let me take a look at this. It better be good.”

It was pretty, a silver band with small stones around the band. Chloé’s face softened; simple and not too flashy. Perfect for her sister. Jon really knew her.

“Well?” Jon asked with a nervous smile. Chloé rolled her eyes, “I guess it’ll do.”

Jon smiled so big and Chloé tensed in his sudden hug but made herself relax. Jon whispered, “Thank you Chloé.”

“Of course Boy Scout,” Chloé said back. She gave a stern look and pointed in the journalist’s face, “Same thing as last time. Hurt her and I’m buying Kryptonite.”

“Right, right,” Jon said with a seemingly unimpressed look. Zoé pointed a light-hearted glare at her sister, “You can threaten him at the wedding.”

“Like that’s any better,” Jon exclaimed with poorly contained laughter. He pulled Zoé by the waist and kissed her temple.

“Who else knows,” Damian asked, uncomfortable by the display. He didn’t mind, but he didn’t quite feel comfortable with tons of it obliviously. Chloé could almost laugh about it.

“Mom, and her dads,” Jon said, “and now you two.”

Chloé did laugh at that, “Son of Steel can’t face the mere-mortal Audrey Bourgeois?”

“She’s…scary,” Jon admitted softly. Zoé patted him, “She’s not that bad.”

“You were able to see her every other day for years,” Chloé laminated. “I believe his fear is warranted, but,” she looked back to Jon, “he is being ridiculous. You’re practically invincible.”

“Emotional abuse is very effective,” Jon frowned.

“Well you better get to informing everyone else,” Damian said pointedly. “You won’t be able to keep it low for long. Not with everyone we’re surrounded by.”

“True that,” Chloé said, she immediately sucked in a breath, “Hope I never say that again.”

“Again, the people we surround ourselves with, Bourgeois,” Damian grimaced in sympathy.

Jon had nodded to himself, “You’re right. It won’t be much of a surprise if it isn’t shared soon.”

“Guess we can plan how to tell everyone else,” Zoé stated unsure.

“Oh most definitely, you should,” Damian nodded. Chloé squinted at him with a face that read, “What the hell are you doing?”

Jon lit up and looked down at Zoé, “We can make it fun. Something to make them think.”

Zoé raised an eyebrow, Jon took her hands gently and tugged her along, “It’ll be fun, I promise.”

“Last time you said that I almost died,” Zoé reminded him dryly as she followed him out of the room.

“Let’s forget that,” Jon’s voice would have cracked a few years ago.

Chloé sighed once they were out of the room, her gaze slid to Damian, “What was that about?”

“You obviously couldn’t handle being around them. You need time to digest the information,” Damian said as though it was so obvious.

“I was doing just fine,” Chloé sneered, taking a step in his face. “Besides, shouldn’t you be off celebrating with him? You seemed very pleased.”

Damian frowned, “Chloé, I am happy for Jon. He’s happy and that’s all I ever want for him. It’s everything I want for him, and for you; even if you believe you don’t deserve it.” Chloé opened her mouth but nothing came out, and Damian continued, “I have told you time and again to take the time to learn who you are, and what you want. Kagami has given the same advice as she has given your dear friend Dupain-Cheng, to not hesitate. Yet that appears to be the only thing you do, even when you were riding your high horse, wearing your wealth with pride.”

Damian leaned down, “I tried to tell you to take your chance, I am sorry you are distressed but I won’t let that ruin this for my best friend and your sister. I don’t like seeing you pained, so I took the cause out of the room.

“But I guess my consideration is never appreciated,” Damian took a step back. He sighed, “I hope your wits about you the next time you see them because I believe you will be the Maid of Honor, and I simply postponed Lee from asking that.”

Chloé looked away her face red with embarrassment. She hated he was right, he was usually right. He was like Marinette in that facet but far more brazen.

“I will be going now,” Damian stated, he placed a hesitant hand on her shoulder. He gave a small, unusual sight directed at her, smile, “I’d like you to know, I am here if you need a friend Chloé.”

Chloé mustered a smile, “Thank you, Damian. For, for everything.”

Damian squeezed her shoulder before leaving her in the room.

Chloé let out a long sigh, she faced the ceiling blinking back tears. She pursed her lips, she was happy for them. She was happy for Zoé. She was happy for Jon.

How could she not?

Chloé swallowed, she knew that answer.

She wanted it to be her. She was just as angry as she was happy. She was still selfish, she still wanted the sweetest guy, and especially wanted to keep him from the sweetest girl.

No amount of blinking stopped the tears today. Chloé made a very unflattering snort, she laughed through the tears.

“I shouldn’t have invited her,” Chloé sobbed to herself. She shook her head to herself, “I should have gone alone.”

Would that have made a difference? They would have met eventually. Chloé would have been too late still, wouldn’t she? Too late to know what she wanted. Jon would still meet Zoé and find everything he wanted.
