Zutara Week Day 7: Sweet

It wasn’t until they reached an expansive pond that they settled on a park bench at its edge. Katara beamed as a family of turtle ducks swam toward them, quacking as if demanding something. “They know it means extra food when I’m here,” Zuko explained with a warm look on his face as he pulled a small jute pouch out of his robe. “Wanna try it?” “Okay.” Zuko poured oat flakes into her open palm, and Katara knelt in the grass, stretching her arm into the pond so the turtle ducks could reach it. The quacking grew louder as they pecked at the food. Katara giggled. “Their beaks tickle.” “You get used to it,” Zuko assured, settling beside her and letting one of the ducklings hop into his open palm.

Tumblr, It's been a year.

A whole big freakin year! Man, it flew by pretty quickly.

Over the past year, I've met a bunch of incredibly talented folks who craft masterpieces that made me cry, laugh, and smile like an idiot about. Y'all are absolutely amazing!

Over the past year, I've helped some people by beta reading and editing, and all the same, had my own works edited by the very talented @achillmango.

All in all, this year has been FANTASTIC. I've gotten back into writing, something I hadn't expected to ever happen again, AND I've read SO MANY WORKS by SO MANY TALENTED AUTHORS. You guys are INCREDIBLE!

Now for an announcement: My asks are open for writing requests (short one-shot styled prompts). I will complete these requests as I have time, so long as they aren't of a subject that I deem uncomfortable to write about.

Polygon co-founder submitted a proposal to the ApeCoin DAO governance forum for the creation of its own zero-knowledge Layer-2 blockchain. APE has seen a significant decline in demand since the month began. In a new proposal dated 10 October, Polygon’s co-founder Sandeep Nailwal suggested that ApeCoin DAO develop its own zero-knowledge Layer-2 (zk-L2) blockchain using the Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK).
