Rant! (Boy is this one gonna be long)

I think non binaries suffer the most discrimination in brazil at least, because, fun fact: we don't have gender neutral pronouns. No such thing as "they/them" and adjectives are also gendered, like "bonita" for girls, "bonito" for boys. And if you try to say "bonite" people look at you weird or laugh. Even in my friend group, where i believe everyone is queer, no one has ever non ironically used what we can consider gender neutral. There was also the time when it was funny to talk substituting EVERY vowel with "e", making fun of non binaries. One thing that really scared me was when a friend of mine walked up to me one day, pointed at another friend of mine (she's pansexual) and said, "man, did you know (her name) believes in neutral pronouns?" with actual mockery in his voice.

Y'know what, enbies? Fuck em. You guys exist, are valid and aren't there just for attention or whatever these people think you are. I love y'all my friends

His name is Sinundu. He's noticeably shorter in overall length and his colors are also more muted than usual.

He does have a bit of a flirty personality, but is mostly reserved and keeps to himself.

Google Image Search As you can tell from the picture, this is some kind of dragon.  It has been the symbol of Kazan, Russia since the 1730, so it has a solid reputation.  Although, it has changed over the years from what I’ve read. Putting this in poll format is me being silly. But I want to state a point that still crops up now and again.

If you feel you are/one of your ‘type is experiencing draconity, whether as a full dragon or just some sort of draconic, you are/it is dragon/draconic.

It does NOT matter if your/its origin is from fiction, from myth, local folklore, or a species you made yourself.

It does NOT matter if you are/it is a european, east asian, wyvern, zilant, yinglong, kirin, turtle dragon, lion dragon, and heck komodo dragon.

It does NOT matter if you are/it is humanoid or straight up portion of you are fully human.

You are/it is a dragon if you feel you are/it is.

(Alternatively, your alterhuman identitype is draconic if you feel it counts)

Ok stop, just, stop. It’s like asking “what is human” or every variation of that. I met all sorts of dragon, seen many, and there’s far more example even within media and myth of this world and beyond. Many definitely don’t fit the “big, powerful, apex predator”. Heck, I’m a draconic shapeshifter that becomes hamster sized to potentially bigger than a airship, have no breath weapon, and I don’t even prey on other creature! Don’t even get me started on the wyvern discourse.

There are dragons that are like kami—things that invokes awe or reverence.

There are dragons that are “just a little creechur”.

There are dragons that’s wild and theriant*, some are sophont.

There are dragons big and small, colossal or microscopic, physical or purely incorporeal, made of flesh and bones or goo and light matter.

There are dragons in all sorts of biome, have all sorts of diet (yes, even herbivore), some hoard some don’t.

A box with a slanted nostrial and eyes, squiggly smile line as mouth, and it is definitely something draconic, because it is so.

Dragons with feather, fur, fin, frill, crocodilian, webbed paws, hooves, mechanical parts…

Well, you get the point.

A dragon is a dragon is a dragon. Regardless of the shape they took, the features they have, or whatever box you want to put a dragon in.

If it fit, it will sit. It it doesn’t, it’s still going to sit, and break the box while we are at it.
