Marcy should surprise her girls coming back to Cali by suddenly being good at dancing. No explanation nor does she even tell them she's been practicing or whatever, she's just suddenly good at busting a move. They're just out at a bar one night catching up, something like Mother Mother or Wallows is playing as the night slows down. Then Marcy Wu, confident all of a sudden, just gets up to groove.

Sasha and Anne are initially just doing the generic "Woo-hoo go Marcy!!!" Just to encourage her. Then she's grooving way too smooth, smoother than they remember her being capable of. They're awestruck and really considering if they should kiss her to surprise her just to one up how surprised they are.

She's not at all slowing down on the dance floor, even 5 songs later she's still going. Anne suggests to record, with Sasha saying "Way ahead of you, Boonchuy." All with a smirk on her face, really digging this side of Marcy, who isn't even drunk.

All the while, unbeknownst to all of them, their mutual pining for each other is rising. Probably fueled by finally being back together, the want for the night to never end because it's so nice seeing Marcy grooving. Maybe it's the way they all held hands on the way back to Sasha's apartment, falling asleep in a tangled mess of limbs on the couch. They dont quite know yet, and maybe never will. But they are sure it's a damn great night.

This is around the ending of the story for my xy au but at some point, he accidentally calls AZ "grandfather" instead of the usual polite address (not entirely wrong....lol). this slip-up partly stems from the fact that he barely remembers his grandparents who passed away when he was young... he met only his grandmother on his mother's side, so having a grandpaternal figure is kinda nice for once....

Over the course of the story, he slowly accepts his heritage while also discovering what he wants to do by the virtue of his personhood and support from the people he cares about.

Okay but legit man, Zethes and Cal had so, so, so, much character potential and it hurts that Rick never did much with them. I would have killed for a redemption ark you know? Like, throughout the books they always say junk about history repeating itself and prophecies, and all that stuff. They had a ship that was literally called the Argo II! You know who were crew mates on the first Argo and actually played a role on Jason original quest? Zethes and Cal! That’s who! So wouldn’t it have been really awesome if they had joined up with the 7 and helped them out?

Like, you know the part where Piper uses Festus against them? What if she only hit Khione? Like they were being swayed by her words earlier, and it’s clear that they do not like their sister, so wouldn’t it make sense for Piper to at least offer it to them? Like: “Okay, you two aren’t that bad (even if I wanna slap you because the constant flirting Zethes.) But we could use all the help we can get with this whole war thing, so you guys feel like joining our crew? It’s that, or I’ll use Festus here on you too and you can join your sister. Up to you guys.” Like that could have lead to some interesting plot points! Zethes finally getting it through his head that she’s not into him and apologizing, worrying about defying their sister and father, maybe some bonding with Jason and Leo? Them meeting Ella?

You were always interested in the Jedi ever since your dad told you stories when you were just a little princess. Now you were a big princess and at the mere age of 18, you were still obsessed with the Jedi. You've never even met a Jedi before but something about lightsabers and "being one with the force" was so intriguing.

It was bittersweet to say the least when someone had attempted to kill you one night. Obviously, you didn't want to be killed but when your parents hired Jedi to protect you, it was like you were in a dream. You were so excited to meet them that you had forgotten why they were there.

When their ship landed, you smoothened out your silk, sleeveless, baby blue dress and held a huge smile on your face. Your parents greeted them before introducing you.

"I'm Obi-Wan Kenobi and this is Anakin Skywalker, it's a pleasure to meet you Princess Y/N," Obi-Wan spoke professionally.

"You can just call me Y/N; it's a pleasure to meet you as well. I've always wanted to meet Jedi," You spoke, completely enamored. "I've, uh, always wanted to be a Jedi. It'd be cool if I were the first Jedi princess, yeah?" You joked.

"Y/N!" Your mother said, giving you a stern look to match her tone. But Obi-Wan and Anakin laughed, and that's all that mattered to you.

Obi-Wan was a handsome man but Anakin was something out of a fairytale. His shoulder-length brown hair, blue eyes, and plump, pink lips were prince-like. He reminded you of the princes in the fairytales your mother used to read.

"He's a dream, isn't he, Mary?" You sighed dreamily to your favorite handmaiden.

"He's a little kid," She laughed, shaking her head. Mary was much older than you and 20 years older than your father. But she was the sweetest thing and always took care of you; it was her job but it was in a motherly way. "But for you, he's a dream. Just don't get attached, Jedi aren't supposed to have attachments."

"Yes, yes, I know," You mumbled and looked down at your hands.

"But that doesn't mean you can't make friends," She tried to cheer you up as she rubbed your back.

You nodded and stood from your bed and grabbed your crown. You placed it atop your head and started out the room. You walked down to the center room and knocked before walking in.

"Oh, perfect timing Y/N!" Your mother smiled at you.

"We were hoping you would give Obi-Wan and Anakin a tour," Your father explained.

"Oh I would love to," You nodded and clapped your hands happily.

Anakin smiled at you as if you were refreshing to be around. Both him and Obi-Wan stood up and followed you out of the room.

"I apologize for the big gown, this was a big day for me. My father always told me stories of the Jedi. He would've let me train had it not been for my mother. I'm their only child so she didn't want me going away," You explained with a shy smile. "Sorry, I'm rambling."

"It's okay Princess, it's good we know more about you. It'll give us more reason to protect you," Anakin spoke kindly but received a look from Obi-Wan.

"It's okay, you guys don't have to be professional around me. I could use some friends," You said to Obi-Wan could ease up on Anakin.

You showed then around the palace and showed them their rooms last.

"This is where you'll stay Obi-Wan. It's right next to my parents' room and three doors down from mine," You said and pointed at the doors.

"Thank you, Princess," He said as he bowed. You nodded and he walked into his room, quietly shutting the door behind him.

You looked over at Anakin and gave him a small smile before walking over to his door.

"This is your room, my room is right next door," You told him and blushed as you realized how close you would be.

"Thank you, Princess," He smiled.

"Just Y/N, please. I've been a princess all my life, sometimes I just want to be Y/N," You told him wistfully.

"I apologize, Y/N," He said and bowed.

"It's okay," You giggled. "Dinner is at 6:00, maybe you'll let Obi-Wan know?"

"Of course," He nodded. "See you then."

You nodded and walked to your room. You gave him one last smile before you entered and shut the door behind you.

Dinner went along uneventful and your parents asked if you were willing to give a tour of your home planet tomorrow, which you agreed to.

"You look beautiful," Anakin said as soon as you came down the grand stairs, causing you to blush a bright red. You wore a pale blue dress with gold accents under the lace. Obi-Wan nudged him, causing him to clear his throat, embarrassed.

"Thank you Anakin," You smiled. "Are you ready to head out?"

They both nodded and you smiled, leading the way into the town.

"It's very quiet here, but so beautiful," You spoke softly as you walked through the town.

"It's amazing here," Anakin nodded and took in all the scenery.

"Y/N!" You heard a little girl shout happily. You smiled and turned the greet her.

"Hi pretty girl," You said as your crouched down and turned her brown hair behind her ear. "How are you today Niaga?"

"Good, I have a little brother now. I was hoping for a girl, but he'll do," She shrugged.

"Oh, you're so lucky, I wish I had a little brother," You said. "What's his name?"

"Johlo, after my dad. I told them to name him something cool like Zeth, but no one listens to me."

"Johlo is a cool name. Not as cool as Niaga, but very cool," You told her and she giggled happily.

"Niaga!"

"That's my mom, I probably have to go help with the little bother," She groaned. "I'll see you later, Y/N."

"Bye Niaga," You laughed and stood from your crouching position.

She ran into her house and you waved at her mom who stood in the doorway before walking off.

"You must be well-liked and respected," Obi-Wan spoke up.

"I would hope so," You nodded. "But the relationship I have with the kids is something I hold very dear to me. But I do love my people."

"And they love you," Anakin kindly spoke. "It would be hard not to." Obi-Wan sighed and shook his head. "Well, I mean, because of how you treat them," Anakin quickly self-corrected.

"Thank you, Anakin," You tittered and pushed your hair behind your ear.

That night as you got ready for dinner, you heard a knock on the door which caused you confusion. You usually send Mary to her room to rest by this time.

"Come in," You called and turned the face the door. "Oh hello, Anakin."

"Sorry to interrupt, the queen says you're late for dinner," He spoke once he opened the door.

"And she sent you to tell me?" You asked.

"No, I offered," He said as his cheeks began to turn red.

"Oh okay, I'll be right down," You smiled as you took in his appearance. Something was different.

"I'm not wearing my robes," He said as if he were reading your mind.

You nodded your head and your eyes widened as you saw the handle of the lightsaber.

"Woah, so cool," You said and walked toward him. "I've never seen one in real life. That's your weapon?"

He was confused at first but looked down at where you were pointing.

"My lightsaber," He nodded.

"Do you mind?" You asked politely. "Well, never mind. It's a weapon and you really have no reason to trust me–"

"Here," He said and placed it in your hands. "It's a bit heavy."

"Wow," You mumbled and stared at it. "What color is it?"

"Blue."

"Blue is pretty, very pretty" You nodded and looked into his eyes. "I should probably give this back before I do something dumb," You chuckled and handed it to him.

"Maybe I can teach you something" He suggested.

"Oh, you don't have to," You shook your head.

"But I want to," He insisted. "Tomorrow after breakfast. But we'll have to do it in here, Obi-Wan can't know."

You nodded happily and hugged him without thinking.

"Thank you, Anakin, so much," You said gratefully and pulled away.

"Of course, Princess."

my sort-of AU idea proposal is that the ultimate weapon draws its power from Arbordrasil indirectly; it was partially made from the root materials (its own plus other roots that grow separately from it) teemed with regenerative and draining power. Its roots themselves are capable of physical regrowth. It also can stretch its branches/vines outwards!

While lying dormant within a gorge of sorts, Arbordrasil's roots eventually rose to surface in a labyrinth-like spiral, which AZ came to randomly discover some day prior to the creation of the machine. He then extracted the materials and used them to create the pre ultimate weapon machine to bring Floette back. In the process, it required input which basically meant the drainage of other lives was required (think of it like roots draining nutrients from the soil to supply and sustain its growth).

Then the conversion to the ultimate weapon came to be, which swelled with overflowing power (the root material absorbed so much from the lives of pokemon that there was still enough energy residue that would then serve the recipe for disaster.)

I’M FINE THOUGH. i’m also adopting the dog. he probably saved my life & is the reason the bullet only grazed me instead of going through my skull. all of that to say i’m adopting him with actual papers and shots & everything just as soon as the doctor stops arguing with me about my own damn health. i need you to pick up my dog and take him home for me though cause i had though I was wearing the good doc down but i also just saw him go get coffee so i think round two is about to begin and the hospital can’t watch my dog all so... can you pick him up for me, take him home or to the garage? if you can’t watch him the boys know him and won’t mind taking care of Zeth till I get outta here sometime today.   ❜ (yes this is mine and artivexed plot sjsjsjsksk HE’S FINE LANCE the important thing to focus on is he has a new dog and he saved his life.          💸 ║ ❛   ————— The  whole  conversation  seems  a  little  ODD.  Lance  keeps  the  phone  to  his  ear  UNFAZED  as  he  gets  his  things  ready  to  go  to  work.  Without  interruption  he  just  lets  Joel  ramble  on  about  whatever  he’s  talking  about.  He’s  now  keeping  the  phone  steady  between  his  ear  and  his  shoulder  so  he’s  got  both  hands  free  for  reloading  the  ammo  of  his  rifle.  It’s  safe  to  say  that  he  isn’t  entirely  paying  any  ATTENTION  to  the  dog  story  the  other’s  talking  about.  Only  when  he’s  mentioning  being  SHOT,  Lance  starts  listening  attentively.  Still,  not  saying  anything  though.  Joel  does  keep  saying  he’s  FINE,  so  there’s  no  reason  to  be  too  worried,  right ?  At  least  that’s  what  Lance  is  thinking.  The  other  thing  he’s  having  in  his  mind  right  now  is  how  Joel  has  the  AUDACITY  to  ask  him  of  such  a  ridiculous  favor.

          ❝   Mi  amor,  I’m  glad  you’re  fine  but  that’s  a  NO  from  me.  Don’t  take  it  personal.  ❞  he  says  as  he  keeps  on  taking  care  of  the  rifle.  He’s  got  plans,  he’s  got  WORK  to  do.  A  dog  isn’t  worth  interrupting  his  day.   ❝   If  the  boys  know  him,  the  boys  can  also  be  the  ones  to  pick  him  up,  right ?  I  don’t  have  time  for  that  now.  Just  call  me  when  you  out  of  the  hospital.  ❞   Before  there’s  even  a  chance  for  Joel  to  reply,  Lance  hangs  up  the  phone  to  continue  getting  his  things  ready.

          In  fact,  he  does  NOT  enjoy  the  harshness  he’s  just  thrown  at  Joel.  And  for  sure  he  will  REGRET  it  later.  Maybe.  But  this  wasn’t  even  an  emergency.  There’s  nothing  that  would  make  Lance  risk  his  GOOD  REPUTATION  in  the  business,  not  even  Joel.  But  he  tries  not  to  think  about  it  now.  It’s  distracting  him  too  much  already  and  he  needs  to  focus  on  his  job  now.  There’s  a  way  to  make  up  for  it  for  sure,   —well,  if  Joel  decides  to  not  take  it  personal.

Alright so like..... im gonna ramble about my thrilling intent au because im gay and sad

gonna put this under a readmore bc its gonna be super long. apologies 2 mobile users

Alright so this AU is basically a ‘Modern with Magic’ au, whereas it takes place in a modern day earth 

Before I get into the characters specifically, lemme get into the background of this au because it’s.... a lot

Ok so at the very beginning, there was just the Spirit World, which was filled with immortal spirit-folk. Some where as strong as gods, some were so weak that they were hardly sentient. Regardless, they had a lot of power

Spirit Folk had many enemies (such as Demons, or Zeth) and the spirits were being picked off constantly. For their own protection, many Spiritfolk came together and created something of a ‘shield’ to protect the Spirit World. This ended up becoming the Human World.

It’s not like each of these worlds are physical planets, and the Human World is guarding the Spirit World. It’s more like... each of these worlds exist in the exact same place, but within different dimensions. If a Zeth wanted to get to the Spirit World, for example, they could open up a rift to get into the Human World. From there, they’d have to find an opening to the Spirit World, but these openings are far and few between and incredibly well hidden, especially from creatures like Zeth or Demons or anything else. Other than Spirits, Humans can detect these openings the easiest, but its still very hard for them

Even with these different worlds, these are certain parts of these worlds that ‘touch’ the Human World. For example, there may be an area of the ocean where the Spirit World and the Human World are one in the same. There may be another area of the Human World thats easier for the Zeth to cross through than other areas. And the Human World (for the most part) is completely oblivious to all of this

does that all make sense? i hope that all made sense. idk lets get into some Character stuff

Markus - When the human world and humans were first created, Demons quickly found a way to exploit the species for their own benefit; any part humans/part demons (or tieflings) from their bloodline, upon their death, will have their power seeped away by their demon ancestor. leaving their soul empty and void. Markus is such a tiefling; he was born to a human woman and a tiefling man who wanted nothing to do with his demon ancestry (though markus doesn’t particularly care for his dad, he can agree with him on that much). After his mother’s death, Markus and his dad lived on in the human world, living in near poverty as they worked cleaning jobs while also struggling to keep their inhumanity a secret (Markus was also homeschooled through all of this, learning about human studies as well as demon studies in detail, and as much about the spirit world as his dad knew). As soon as Markus turned 18, he moved out and sought out his own dreams; to become a successful performer. It’s been rough for him, his raw charm helping him out of many tough situations. As he attempted his performing career, he also went on to write a book. For being the most non-human out of the main three, he honestly had the most normal, human life out of them all

Gregor - Gregor was born in to a regular human family who ran a farm. His life was pretty typical, up until the point where his family was attacked. As it turned out, where Gregor lived was a patch of land that was closely connected to the Spirit World, and a savage group of spirit world creatures (owlbears) slaughtered all except for him. After this traumatizing ordeal, he was picked up by the Outriders, a group of humans who were aware of the Spirit World and faced it’s rougher side as Gregor had, and were working to fight these sorts of creatures that snuck their way to the Human World. Gregor joined their ranks, though, unfortunately, as one could guess, they all died in pretty nasty ways. Once again on his own, Gregor was then adopted by Kyrlos and Zeke, two human seeming men. Gregor was already high-school age when they adopted him, so he sort of has trouble seeing them as ‘family’, but they care for him and he likes them a lot. Gregor’s the youngest of the main three, but he’s definitely got a lot of baggage that he’s repressing 

Ashe - Like the other two, Ashe’s backstory is pretty similar to that of canon, with minor alterations. She was born within a cult in County Meath, Ireland, and this cult was not only aware of the Spirit World, but was able to tap into it’s power. They used this power to make a lineage of people their ‘guardian’ to protect them from the outside world, and Ashe is the most recent edition of that lineage. Like in canon, she has spirit folk-esque powers and controls a certain ‘domain’. When she was 19/20, though, she was finally able to run away, mostly with the help of her uncle Xin. Now living in America, Ashe in an apartment next to Xin, his roommate Horovan (who ashe likes more than Xin and considers family more than she does Xin), and Xin’s son Zalvetta (who Ashe is always bickering with). These apartments reside above Xin’s nature-themed cafe, ‘The Ban Village’, where Ashe is working until she can get a better job and move out and support herself

Anyways, these three yahoos meet when they all happen to be in Meadshire Amusement Park when a human infested with nasty spirit magic is killing dudes. Being the only three with prior knowledge to spirit folk magic, Markus, Ashe and Gregor find themselves working together to take this monster down. After this all happens, this gains the attention of a significant spirit folk, Kyl’il, who is more or less a ‘leader’ of her particular area of the Spirit World.

Kyl’il gets a hold of the three of them (likely through Xin) and tells them “Look, there’s a lot of spirit shenanigans going on in both the Spirit World and the Human World. Overtime, I want to introduce the concept of spirits to humans, so that we can all live in harmony, but this can’t happen with all of these shenanigans going on” and essentially hires them to take care of spirit business for her

So. Yeah. Thats the au. Modern day with magic junk while Markus, Ashe, and Gregor work for Kyl’il to fight/take care of spirit folk nonsense
