I know I said I’d eventually get the Resilient Warden set for Zeth... but this is very tempting and definitely fits his aesthetic more... Thoughts?

(Not that I’ll ever be able to afford that dye unless I do nothing but grind heroics for an entire year.)

@maple-writes: After Tidis leaves the area, a person in the cell to the right of Warren speaks up. She sounds pained. “Were you summoned here too? My name is Nyr.” She pauses for Warren to respond. “I’ve been here for a few months. The Chikara are somehow able to keep us from returning home. I’ve been looking for ways to escape, though, and I’ll help you if I figure something out.” Nyr and Warren can talk more as the hours pass.

About five hours later, or so, the door to this room slams open, and a man with short, black hair and light blue eyes runs in with a woman with short, blond hair and dark green eyes right behind him. They’re both wearing soldiers’ uniforms, but when the man opens Warren’s cell door, he unlocks the chains and gestures for Warren to get up. As his partner is opening the other cell doors, he glances at Warren. “My name is Wayne and this is Tess, and we’ll help you escape. We’ve dealt with the Chikara before, and we know how they think. Please, trust us.” Behind him, Tess lets a woman with jaw length, wavy teal hair and dark purple eyes and a woman with dark brown hair pulled up in a ponytail and light brown eyes out. He frowns when he looks through the other cells. “Where is the other person they brought up here?”

When they learn that Warren and Leo were separated, Tess nods. “I’ll find him.” She glances at Wayne. “You know everything now too. I’ll either bring him to you, or I’ll send him. Don’t wait for me if I can’t make it.” He nods, and she runs off.

He turns to the others. “Let’s get out of here.” Will Warren trust them? 

@onmywaytobe: Zeph does heal Leo, but afterwards, she takes out some black chains. She tries to make her smile look reassuring. “These won’t hurt at all. They’re just a precaution to nullify any magic or advanced tech you might have. Thank you for your cooperation.”

If Leo doesn’t fight back, she puts the chains on him and leads him to a different room with cells in it. She puts him in a cell and leaves with no explanation. After about five hours, the door to the room slams open, and a woman runs in and finds Leo. She has short, blond hair and dark green eyes, and she’s wearing a soldier’s uniform. She unlocks Leo’s cell door and walks in. “My name is Tess, and I’m here to help you escape.” She unlocks his chains. “Do you trust me?”

The door to the room opens again, and two Chikara walk in with Lindy already wearing the black chains being led in. Tess curses under her breath, and golden light starts dancing along her skin like fire. She’s able to surprise the Chikara enough to get Lindy away from them and take his chains off. The Chikara are still coming, and Tidis decides at that moment to also show up.

He smirks when his eyes land on Tess. “And one of the rebels returns. Today is my lucky day.” Light and darkness dance along his skin like fire. 

Tess curses again and backs them up to the door on the other side of the room. “Find Wayne. He’s rescued Warren. He should be going to the hangar where they keep their ships,” she hisses under her breath to them. She pushes Leo and Lindy through the door, and locks it from the inside. What does Leo do?

@kiljoytrout: Lindy is kept under constant watch and forced to stay still until they arrive on one of the moons. The lead woman with wings puts black chains on Lindy with no explanation and takes him inside to a room with cells. As they’re about to put Lindy in a cell, a woman with short, blond hair and dark green eyes attacks the winged people with Lindy and gets him away from them. She unlocks his chains just as another winged person shows up and smirks when he sees her.

The woman curses and backs them up to the door on the other side of the room. “Find Wayne. He’s rescued Warren. He should be going to the hangar where they keep their ships,” she hisses under her breath to them. She pushes Leo and Lindy through the door, and locks it from the inside. What does Lindy do?

@alannaofroses: Setza smiles over at Aura and Cinder as they walk to their next destination. “We’re headed to meet with a group of people who are rumored to know more about the magic of this world. They might also be able to help. I hope this isn’t too boring for you.” What do they talk about as they walk?

After a few hours, near the base of one of the mountains, a man approaches them from the direction they’re heading to. He has very short, blond hair and light blue eyes. He crosses his arms. “There are more than I thought would meet with us.”

Setza nods and gestures back at Aura and Cinder. “They were both summoned here. They are not working for the Chikara.”

He doesn’t look fully convinced, but he nods. “Please, follow me.” He leads them to a sheltered cave, where two other people are standing guard. One is a woman with wavy, ginger hair and dark brown eyes, and the other is a woman with short, ginger hair and dark green eyes. He nods at them, and they let the group in. 

Inside, a girl, who looks to be a young teenager at most is curled up under some blankets, muttering in her sleep. The man who met them kneels down next to her. “We are an...anomaly. We have magic. Our bodies can carry it well. You wanted to ask how to change that one back.” He gestures at the darkness being. “I don’t know, but there is a possibility. Her magic was taken away from her, and she became deathly ill a few weeks afterwards. Her body might be able to take the magic from your friend."

Setza glances at Richter and shrugs. "Fine. It's as good an idea as any." The being has already been walking over to the girl, and the girl unconsciously reaches out to the being. When their fingers touch, the girl screams and thrashes, and the being thrashes too. Two people have to hold each of them down, but the being's glow is lessening slowly.

While the process is going on, there is a sound outside, and the man who met them tenses and looks over at Aura and Cinder (everyone else is occupied). "Would you be willing to help?"

@perringwrites: Sitara turns on the motorcycle after Setza, Richter, Aura, and Cinder left, and a sidecar pops out. She pushes a button, and the sidecar expands so Oliver and Angel can fit as well. The man with the long hair gets in the sidecar first without a word.

The man with blond hair shrugs and holds out his hand to Oliver. "My name is Ross and the unsociable one is named Rian. Sorry. He's just a jerk to everyone."

Sitara grins. "And I'm Sitara and this is Zeth!" She points to the other woman, who grunts and nods. Zeth sits behind Sitara on the actual motorcycle, and Ross pets Angel before he sits next to Rian and tries to joke with him. He leaves plenty of room for Angel and Oliver.

Sitara revs the engine and speeds off once everyone is settled. It's a smooth ride, even over rocky terrain. When they approach the water, Sitara doesn't slow down. The motorcycle adapts to the water and rides right over it. She grins over at Oliver. "I made it myself! If you want to check it out later, you can!"

They arrive at another continent, with rolling fields. They stop a ways away from a large city surrounded by farmland. Sitara hops off and grins at the city. She points at it and glances at Oliver. "That is the city we're supposed to infiltrate." She pulls out different devices from a pack Zeth hands her. "I have some things to make us invisible and also to silence us. Now, those two won't be any help." She pointed at Rian and Ross. "They'll probably head off on their own because Rian's really interested in learning more about the magic in this world. So, it will be just us three." She grins. "Are you ready?"
