First OC -Zei

I think I was 13 when I made her and inserted her into my shitty atla fanfics that I wrote purely for my friend and I. We had so much art and this stupidly long story with soooo many pointless plot beats and details and it was just for us. As embarrassing as the story was, I forgot how to feel that kind of joy and fulfilment in creating just for myself and maybe a friend.

me answering: that is because Altair's (his bugbear paladin) love life was bad (u wish you were us)

him: no, that was Patri (his previous campain's humblewood's cerva also a paladin)

3° friend: no, he had good luck in love but bad bussiness luck, they were together till the end

(context for the bad bussiness luck: he basically invested all their money on a new bussiness and it not only failed, they went into debt and ran away to another country lmao so every time we joke about how he was so in love with her that he ruined her life after getting married xD)

me: yeah, Asra (my vulpin cleric from said campain) married you two!

him: that is true love, staying together despite making each other worse

me: that is toxic love

My OC can pretty much be summed up as a mixture of Yami Yugi and Shadow with a sprinkle of Future Trunks (design wise) so it's no surprise that this looks like a Shadow gijinka

Remembering Home

Prior to the Seventh Umbral Calamity, the tribe Zei grew up in the pocket of the Black Shroud between Gridania and Coerthas, just outside of the majorly settled areas, home. Or they did before the second moon Dalamud fell from the skies and wiped the West Shroud and all it's lakes off the map. Back then four families stood together, led by Seda, the matriarch of the Khorru clan--a family well versed in medicinal and healing traditions and magics. At the time, she was providing aid to those on the front at Carteneau despite the slight protest of her peers in the tribe. Most Keeper of the Moon families kept their distance from other civilizations of man. Seda however, thought at the least fostering relations with their neighbors and helping those in need would be important for the survival of their tribe. After some convincing, the other family leaders and some of their younger hunters joined in the fight and aid efforts. This left Zei and a handful of other, younger members of the tribe behind to be looked after by the sole elder that could not offer battle-side aid in Fallgourd Float. The small group stayed within the Bobbing Cork for a time to be closer to Gridanian sentries that would be relaying messages from the front. This is where they learned of the tragedy of Carteneau and that their leaders, including Seda, had died.
