Dudeeeee, those are cool! I love your nyx/nyxs/nyxself pronouns, those have always given me the most amazing vibe! (Like, the impression of the night personified, perhaps benevolent but perhaps not) And are your ciel/ciels/cielself from "cielo" (Spanish) or something similar? Either way, those are sweet! Also I've never seen hir/hirs pronouns separate from ze/hir but that's also really cool and fascinating >:)
This is a neopronoun/xenopronoun positivity post! If you see this, tell me what your neos are!! >:3
I mostly just go by he/they but I also go by xe/xem/xyr and other canine-themed neos!
#it's so awesome seeing hir split off from ze#Like I know neos can change even faster than general language cause they're so individual#but the neo history buff part of me is wildin right now thanks so much for exposing me to this knowledge >:)))

Trans Reads is an ambitious project created by and for transgender people to openly access writing related to our communities. We believe education should be free and writing shouldn’t be behind a paywall. Transreads.org provides the opportunity to access, discuss, and distribute texts for free.
If you’re looking for books, chapters, texts, essays, or articles by, for, or about people who transverse or transcend western gender norms, you’re in the right place!
Trans Reads was formed through the work, consulting, and creativity of an anonymous group of trans people of various genders and races around the U.S. involved in organizing, academia, and trans liberation efforts. Trans Reads was launched in 2019 following increasing violence against trans people alongside the lack of accessible resources for trans people to learn about our own community.
There is a serious barrier for most trans people accessing content from our community. Trans people on average have less disposable income, time to read and purchase literature, and knowledge of the available texts. We created Trans Reads to address this problem directly. We offer the largest collection of free trans texts on the internet.
Get Involved:
Trans Reads is almost entirely generated through user content. By uploading, you can help a trans teen in a rural area learn about other girls like her. You could help a trans student who can’t afford a textbook easily pass their class. You can even share your own writing with the world on an easy-to-use platform exclusively for trans content. You can help grow our collection on our upload page. If you are interested in helping us upload texts for our collection, you can reach out on our contact page.
Ethics:
We are faced with the common ethical question about hurting the sales of trans authors. However, the largest ever study on piracy actually found that the piracy of copyrighted books, music, video games, and movies has no effect on sales. In the case of video games, piracy actually helped sales. As far back as 2002, we can see piracy boosting sales of media. Trans Reads strongly encourages you to purchase the books that you enjoy here or find other ways to support the author.
Academic authors rarely – if ever – see income from sales of their books, articles, or chapters. Most want to remove the paywalls withholding their content. Trans Reads is open to collaborating with authors, publishers, and journals on making this a possibility through our website.
History:
In 2014, Leslie Feinberg published the 20th-anniversary edition of Stone Butch Blues, one of the most influential works of transgender literature. The novel was a way for trans, gender nonconforming, and queer people to realize ourselves. It told us we aren’t alone. However, when the publisher went bankrupt, Leslie had to struggle to regain ownership over hir own novel.
“I had to work to recover my rights to Stone Butch Blues. When the first publisher went into Chapter 11 court, I had to spend thousands of dollars of my wages on legal fees to recover the right to this novel… While very ill in Spring 2012, I recovered my rights again.”
Ze didn’t want the book to be released as a film adaptation exploiting hir story for straight fantasies. Ze also used the opportunity to make the book more accessible. First editions shot up into hundreds of dollars. The least expensive print versions are still over $30 on Amazon. This simply isn’t affordable to most queer and trans people. The fight ended with Leslie publishing hir novel on hir website as a PDF, a strategy of reclaiming transgender narratives from greedy publishes by collective ownership of the text.
Trans Reads is dedicated to the memory of Leslie and all those who feel alone. Most individuals don’t have institutional access and cannot afford to pay for texts. Transreads.org allows visitors to effortlessly read texts by, for, or related to trans people online for free as PDFs. Trans Reads is the space where anyone can easily discuss, add, or download trans content.
This project is intended to foster discussion around the current state of learning. We refuse paywalls and withholding education. Trans Reads provides the opportunity to access, discuss, and distribute texts related to our community on its website in a matter of seconds.
Knowledge, learning, and community must be de-commodified for our collective liberation. Take it from Leslie:
“And on the day those paper deeds of ownership are torn up, it won’t matter about protecting Stone Butch Blues anymore from commercial exploitation.”
Authors shouldn’t live in fear of their work being exploited or inaccessible. Trans Reads is just one small part of trans autonomy from corporate publishers. However, it is a necessary step toward engaging with our radical history, politics, and futures.

Because I saw people complaining about neopronouns again I feel the need to state that neopronouns are old. One of the first ones we have record of is thon/thons pronouns, introduced in the mid 1800s as a gender neutral single person pronoun.
Before they/them became the nonbinary pronoun, nonbinary people would use neopronouns! I know several nonbinary elders, some used ey/em, ze/hir, and many more!
We repeat this song and dance every few years. Cis people will not love you because you hate other trans people. Read your history, get involved in the community, fight for our rights.

men cannot be lesbians. (no im not talking about GNC lesbians) no real lesbian, elder or young, is saying men can be lesbians. gender non conformity has always been apart of lesbian history, and always will be, but not men.
and here are some arguments yall lesbian "men" love:
- "read Stone Butch Blues" Stone Butch Blues was actually NOT about being a man, you read the book instead of repeating misinformation spread by others who also haven't read the book
- "leslie feinberg was a man" so close! ze wasn't a man at all. "I am female-bodied, I am a butch lesbian, a transgender lesbian-referring to me as "she/her" is appropriate, particularly in a non-trans setting in which referring to me as "he" would appear to resolve the social contradiction between my birth sex and gender expression and render my transgender expression invisible." this in no way is saying leslie identified as a man. to finish off this quote: " I like the gender neutral pronoun "ze/hir" because it makes it impossible to hold on to gender/sex/sexuality assumptions about a person you're about to meet or you've just met. And in an all trans setting, referring to me as "he/him" honors my gender expression in the same way that referring to my sister drag queens as "she/her" does." [forgive me if i used 'ze' incorrectly]
- "trans men feel safe in this space, away from xyz" and what about the lesbians who use the lesbian community as a safe space away from men? why do they have to compromise their safe space for the sake of a man?
- "trans men feel an attachment" and that's totally fine! it's okay to feel an attachment to a community you've been apart of for a long time. but there is a difference between attachment and identification. wanting to aide the lesbian community is totally fine, welcomed even! but this does not equate to identification.
- "gender is complex" as someone with a complex gender identity, i agree! but again, i am talking about men 'being' lesbians. not about gnc/gender complex lesbians.
- "it's not your business what a trans person identifies as" when it gets to said person invading my community, they make it my business. the same way it would be if a cis person claimed to be t4t
- https://africasacountry.com/2014/03/africa-has-always-been-more-queer-than-generally-acknowledged "see! it exists outside of america!"
wrong again! "Whereas the term ‘male lesbians’ is an attempt at translating the Hausa (e.g. Northern Nigerian) for ‘passive’ male partners or ‘yan kifi, who have sex with each other, ‘lesbian men’ in Namibia designate women who play the dominant ‘butch’ role in a same-sex relationship. Even though the terms ‘butch’ and ‘femme’ are not known in (Namibian) Damara culture, the various sexual practices and dress codes find some resonance in the admittedly Western butch-femme dyad." as you can see, the term 'lesbian man' is a place holder for the term 'butch' seeing as that term does not exist in those cultures, aka, lesbian 'men' are not a thing and this debate is solely american
I am in no way belittling trans people or the things the trans community has done for the LGBTQ+ community. This post is strictly saying men cannot be lesbians, again, men not gnc lesbians.

image description below, you can also open in a new tab and zoom in.
[ID: A six panel comic titled, "Using Neopronouns…"
The first panel shows a cis person talking to a long line of trans people who continue off screen, who are each wearing a pronoun pin -- "he/him", "she/her", "they/them" and "ze/hir", and have the trans pride flag over their heads, with stripes of blue, pink, white, pink, and blue.
The cis person says, "Your pronouns make me uncomfortable, so I'm going to misgender you.".
The second panel shows the trans people who use "he/him" and "she/her" pronouns looking at the rest of the line, which consists of they/them, ze/hir, star/stars, and it/its, and saying, "Your pronouns make me uncomfortable, so I'm going to misgender you.".
The third panel shows the they/them user now talking to the ze/hir, star/stars, and it/its users, and is saying, "Your pronouns make me uncomfortable, so I'm going to misgender you.".
The fourth panel shows the ze/hir user saying "Your pronouns make me uncomfortable, so I'm going to misgender you.". to the star/stars and it/its users.
The fifth panel shows the star/stars user saying to the it/its user, "Your pronouns make me uncomfortable, so I'm going to misgender you.".
The last panel shows the it/its user standing alone, saying nothing but "sigh".
End ID.]
The transmisia, exorsexism, and neopronomisia are coming from inside the house.
To quote Leslie Feinberg:
"We can never throw enough people overboard to win approval from our enemies.”
(Transgender Warriors: making history from Joan of Arc to Dennis Rodman)
Ask yourself: "Am I literally repeating the exact same bigotry that cis people subject me to?" And if the answer is yes, cut it the fuck out.

Guys I made a carrd lmfao (link)
My sideblog (link) where I coin shit and make flags, and my otherkin sideblog (link). Our system blog (link).
Time for a long overdue introduction!
I'm Canis/Canid (you can always just call me 'Sirenium' if that's easier!). I am a namehoarder, as well as namefluid, so I tend to prefer different names at different times (I will attempt to stick to a certain pair of names per theme). I'm 19. I have pieces of paper agreeing with me that I'm autistic and have ADHD, also known as 'I am professionally diagnosed', and I am almost certainly cluster B but have no desire to receive a 'professional diagnosis' for any cluster B disorder, as I've already been mistreated by the mental 'profession' enough as is.
My pronouns are in my bio, but for the sake of convenience my current preferred ones are it/its and ze/hir, he/him is tolerated and they/them is on very thin ice because people love to use that set as an 'easier' option when faced with a scary it/its user. I am intersex. my gender is currently best described as xenic, agender, pangenderflux dude. I'm a loveless, polyamorous lesboy, panaesthetic, and on the aplatonic and asocial spectrums. I am a biracial black individual.
My interests include, but are (just barely) not limited to, the Sonic franchise (I now have a specific tag for sonic related content. It's #random self indulgent sonic related post, and I went through and tagged [hopefully] every sonic related post with it. edit: I don't remember to use this tag much anymore, apologies), The Legend of Zelda, music, Warframe, and LGBTQ+/xenogender flags, history, and identities.
I have decided to lift my DNI. Be warned, however, that I use the block button frequently.
I will just tag self promotive posts with 'self promotion' because my previous custom tag was so fucking cringe/lighthearted
BYF (before you follow)
[Pt: BYF (before you follow) end pt]
Unless you give me a reason to block you, I see no reason to bar certain people from interacting with my posts (please note that if I go to your blog and am exposed to some dumbass take about mspec lesbians or something, that is typically grounds for a straight up block). Now that that's out of the way, let's move on.
Here, we believe that there's no such thing as an invalid queer identity, and this encompasses lesboys, m-spec lesbians, gaybians, and anything else that people hate for no reason. We are pro endo, believe that pronouns and presentation don't necessarily equal gender, anti capitalism (especially rainbow capitalism), pro-choice, pro self diagnosis, are of the opinion that PCOS can be an intersex condition (but honestly it's up to the individual to identify as such), queer isn't a slur (though I don't immediately jump to demonizing those who think it is, bc there are certainly older people who've had that word used against them in a derogatory way), xenogenders aren't transphobic, paraphile≠abuser, and more that I don't feel are necessary to state on this blog.
Stance on transID and radqueers (link). Since it apparently needs to be said, don't fucking derail my posts because of my stances on these things. It's not up for debate, especially on a random ass post. Your comment will be deleted and I will most likely block you, because in my humble opinion getting your panties in a twist about something unrelated to a post is obnoxious. Thanks!
What's this blog about?
[Pt: What's this blog about? End pt]
I don't even know anymore, man. There's stuff about being neurodivergent and queer, sonic shit, and whatever I feel like reblogging. Enjoy your stay.
Lastly...
[pt: Lastly... end pt]
I will block any exclusionists, TERFS/SWERFS, truscum/transmeds, or pro-lifers who touch my posts because frankly, I'm not interested in interacting with y'all (I will cave occasionally when I am extremely bored lmfao).
ID: 'This blog respects and supports all good faith identities, and is adamant about creating a space where EVERY queer person can exist as themselves.' In grey Old Engraver's English font on a black background. To the right, a wolf pack dogpiling is featured, and the image is separated by the rest of the banner by a dark and reddish border. Two borders, one on the top of the entire banner and the other on the bottom, are the same color. End ID
Thanks for reading. :)
Please note:
[pt: please note:. End pt]
I don't look at peoples DNIs before interacting all the time (banners are right there so like, obviously I check those. I'm talking about DNIs in bios or pinned posts). Please, if I'm included in your DNI because of my beliefs and identity, block me and/or message me to remove anything I've reblogged from you if you need to. It's basic human decency: I wouldn't want someone who fits any description on my DNI to interact with my shit, so it's only fair I provide that same respect to others (even if they're exclusionists or other people I generally don't like). Additionally, I'd rather handle situations like this with mutual maturity in the case that they happen. Thank you.
Also you can message me if you just don't want your stuff on my blog, btw.
I reclaim slurs, and there are posts that feature slurs on my blog. There's serious subject matter discussed here, and I don't add trigger warnings all the time. Please be careful if you are triggered by stuff like death, transphobia, etc..
I often don't make image descriptions for things I reblog, but I try to make IDs for things I make/post myself. As such, this blog will have a lot of reblogs with the 'undescribed reblog' tag. If your screen reader cannot read ALT text, you may have to block 'described in alt' as well as the previous tag. I know this may be inconvenient, but constantly trying to be accessible is proving to be difficult and I don't want to constantly be stressed and overworked on this site.
Quick warning: stuff about the Gaza war shit will appear on this blog every once in a while, though I hope to provide a space that is mostly void of reminders that humanity is horrible and people are dying for no reason. That being said, fuck off zionists I stand with Palestine.

it's so funny when people act like queer stuff is new or a trend, because like ignoring the centuries of history, i personally was using neopronouns in 2011. like me a real human being right here hi i have been using neopronouns for over a decade, it's not new at all. i am also not a queer elder either i'm only 26, but if you want to open up some of the history of it let me show you a quote from a non-binary lesbian who was born in 1949 and wrote a book about hir experience with gender and sexuality called stone butch blues:
For me, pronouns are always placed within context. I am female-bodied, I am a butch lesbian, a transgender lesbian—referring to me as "she/her" is appropriate, particularly in a non-trans setting in which referring to me as "he" would appear to resolve the social contradiction between my birth sex and gender expression and render my transgender expression invisible. I like the gender neutral pronoun "ze/hir" because it makes it impossible to hold on to gender/sex/sexuality assumptions about a person you're about to meet or you've just met. And in an all trans setting, referring to me as "he/him" honors my gender expression in the same way that referring to my sister drag queens as "she/her" does.

shi/hir are not intersex exclusive. just bcuz one furry in the 90s made a intersexist species and used shi/hir for them doesn't suddenly make them Unique to intersex people.
replace the e in pronouns is so common, (ie: shx/hxr. hx/hxm. thxy/thxm. sh♡/h♡r. etc!) People do that a lot.
"Hir" is also a common pronoun in Ze/Hir.
Pronouns can not be exclusive. there are only so many letters and words to mix and make up.
if you wanna read more of the furry species history, heres a web archive of the post that deep dives into it: link
