This is the last brain cell I am dedicating to this. This is the last post I am making on it. This is my line in the sand. I am confronting this as directly as I can without a forthright namedrop or losing class over honestly the stupidest drama.
'I don’t like Tw*light' is an opinion.
'I don’t want to RP in the W*zarding W0rld or with associated muses because the creator makes me viscerally uncomfortable' is a boundary.
'I cannot stand M*rius de R0manus so no one is ever allowed to roleplay him because I don’t like him' is censorship.
Some people lack the reading comprehension to differentiate between a boundary and censorship. Such as last year, when I set boundaries for my own mental health as well as my own longevity as a roleplayer by saying I would be more selective with one fandom that delves my trigger and outlining other fandoms I’m just not interested in. Lack of interest was taken as a personal attack on a community, when this was a wholly personal decision made after self-reflection, not community scrutiny.
Someone’s lack of reading comprehension is not my problem. What is my problem is how I keep getting anons about this person's interpretation of my actions putting words into my mouth. What is my problem is how this person has been in a cycle of blocking-unblocking-blocking me to skim my blog, vague on me, and try to start drama all over again by making unrelated posts about them.
What is my problem is the way I have been led to believe by other sources this person went so far as to report me to staff and when that failed, alleging that I 'deleted evidence' of harassing and hurting them.
And you know what? None of that matters. This is a hobby. If I don't have this site, I still have ways to pursue joy. This won't amount to a hill of beans, and I'm not pretending it will. I am not even angry. I am tired.
I have said before that I want this person to get over me and that I believed that their constant desire to trawl my blog and keep tabs on me is ruining their own tumblr experience. It's been months since this happened and I just got an anon about the way I 'censor people' and how 'Oh you can like problematic content but no one else can' directly calling out both a fandom we overlapped in. This person isn't slick. They're just exhausting.
And that's really all I wanted to say. I'm not responsible for other people not being able to read a post or get their head out of their own ass. I set boundaries. I am not sorry for that. This is no longer my problem. All asks related to this are getting deleted. This is literally the end of this, no matter what this person wants to do.
And I know you're going to read this. You're back, you skim, you get mad about me like you do because you treat this like some kind of moral crusade because we have two different comfort levels about content. I am giving you permission to get over me this time. Whether you're sending the anons or not, I don't care, I fully believe you have the ability to make it stop. Leave me alone.

Saw your post about pokémon cards and well I can't NOT oblige to a request to talk about Pokémon. I'd love to hear you ramble about it! And if you don't mind me asking, do you have any specific kinds of cards you like to collect? I myself am currently building a Legendaries collection, as well as trying to collect every Raihan card because I may have a not-so-subtle obsession with that guy dhskhdd
LETS GOOOOO thank you for indulging me in rambling about Pokemon 😭
i mostly collect specific Pokemon! I have every Arcanine card (i am pretty sure when i checked an exhaustive list of Arcanine ones), every Flareon one, most Sylveon ones (not all), and I do have a Charizard collection too but obviously i am not wealthy enough to get all of his overpriced cards haha. BUT as an early birthday gift to myself i did get damaged and therefore cheaper copies of Shadowless Zard, Base set 2 Zard, Expedition, and CD Promo bc those are my favorite art! and i do prefer Shadowless over unlimited for base set, but i also in the same vein prefer base set 2 to unlimited as well! i love the holo pattern a lot more, and i love the look of shadowless C:
for my collections i'm most proud of my Skyridge holo arcanine, graded holo aquapolis arcanine, and my 1st ed light arcanine :3 light arcanine is actually my favorite card art of all, so much so i have a huge tattoo of it! for Flareon probably my fave is my graded skyridge version and my gold star Flareon! My most extensive collections are definitely Arcanine and Flareon since they're my top 2 faves :3
for your collection do you mean like the Legendary Collection set like the reverse holos, or like legendary Pokemon? either way that will turn out really awesome!! :D and i believe in u and your Raihan collection for sure!! thats going to be amazing!!!

Motorcycle enthusiasts are always on the lookout for ways to improve their riding experience. Among the numerous modifications available, upgrading the exhaust system stands out as one of the most popular choices. Zard Exhaust, an Italian brand renowned for its precision engineering and premium craftsmanship, has become a favorite among riders seeking enhanced performance and unique aesthetics. This article delves into the features, benefits, and reasons why Zard Exhaust systems are worth considering for your motorcycle.
Tumblr media
1. What is Zard Exhaust?
Zard is a high-performance exhaust manufacturer based in Italy. Known for its commitment to innovation, Zard has been designing and producing exhaust systems for motorcycles, scooters, and off-road vehicles for over two decades. The brand emphasizes a balance between function and form, combining advanced engineering with a focus on aesthetic appeal.
Zard offers a range of exhaust options, including slip-on systems, full systems, and custom exhausts, catering to different bike models and preferences. Each exhaust is handcrafted, ensuring top-notch quality and attention to detail.
2. Key Features of Zard Exhaust Systems
Zard Exhaust systems boast a range of features that make them a top choice for motorcycle enthusiasts:
Premium Materials: Zard uses high-quality materials such as stainless steel, titanium, and carbon fiber to ensure durability, lightweight performance, and resistance to high temperatures.
Unique Aesthetic Appeal: Zard systems are known for their distinctive Italian design. Their sleek lines and innovative finishes make your bike stand out from the crowd.
Performance-Oriented Engineering: Every Zard exhaust is designed to optimize airflow and reduce back pressure, leading to significant performance gains in horsepower and torque.
Customization Options: Many Zard products offer customizable finishes and styles, allowing riders to choose the look that best complements their bike.
Compatibility: Zard manufactures exhaust systems tailored to various makes and models, from Ducati and Triumph to BMW and Harley-Davidson.
3. Benefits of Upgrading to a Zard Exhaust
If you’re contemplating whether upgrading to a Zard Exhaust is worth it, here are some of the key benefits you can expect:
A. Enhanced Performance
Zard Exhaust systems are engineered to improve engine efficiency by optimizing exhaust flow. Riders often report noticeable improvements in throttle response, increased power output, and smoother acceleration. These performance gains can transform your bike’s riding dynamics, making it more enjoyable and responsive.
B. Weight Reduction
Stock exhaust systems are often heavy and bulky, weighing down your bike. Zard exhausts, crafted from lightweight materials like titanium and carbon fiber, significantly reduce overall weight. This weight reduction improves handling and maneuverability, especially in sports and adventure motorcycles.
C. Improved Sound Profile
One of the most exciting aspects of upgrading to a Zard Exhaust is the enhanced sound. Zard systems deliver a deep, aggressive, and refined exhaust note that amplifies the auditory experience of riding. Whether you prefer a subdued rumble or a roaring growl, Zard has options to suit your preferences.
D. Better Fuel Efficiency
With improved airflow and reduced engine strain, some riders notice enhanced fuel efficiency with a Zard exhaust. While the gains might not be drastic, they add to the overall value of the upgrade.
E. Aesthetic Appeal
Zard exhaust systems are as much about style as they are about performance. The brand’s attention to design and detail ensures that your bike not only runs better but also looks stunning. From polished stainless steel to matte black finishes, Zard exhausts are a visual upgrade.
4. Types of Zard Exhaust Systems
Zard offers different types of exhaust systems to suit various riding needs and styles:
A. Slip-On Exhausts
Slip-on exhausts are a straightforward upgrade, replacing just the stock muffler while retaining the existing headers and catalytic converter. They are popular for their affordability, ease of installation, and noticeable sound and aesthetic improvements.
B. Full System Exhausts
Full systems replace the entire exhaust setup, including headers and mid-pipes. They provide maximum performance gains and significant weight reduction. Full systems are ideal for riders seeking the ultimate upgrade in power and sound.
C. Custom Exhausts
Zard also offers bespoke exhaust systems for riders who want something unique. These systems are tailored to individual preferences, ensuring a one-of-a-kind look and performance.
5. Popular Motorcycle Models Compatible with Zard Exhaust
Zard Exhaust systems are designed for a wide range of motorcycle brands and models. Here are a few popular ones:
Ducati: Models like the Monster, Scrambler, and Multistrada benefit greatly from Zard’s sleek and high-performance systems.
Triumph: Zard exhausts are particularly popular among Bonneville and Thruxton owners for their retro-modern appeal.
BMW: Adventure models like the BMW GS series enjoy weight savings and performance enhancements with Zard full systems.
Harley-Davidson: For cruisers and touring bikes, Zard offers systems that amplify the iconic Harley rumble while reducing weight.
KTM: Adventure and dual-sport riders appreciate Zard’s robust and lightweight options for KTM bikes.
6. How to Choose the Right Zard Exhaust for Your Motorcycle
When selecting a Zard Exhaust, consider the following factors:
Riding Style: Are you looking for a system that emphasizes performance, aesthetics, or both? Slip-ons are great for casual riders, while full systems are ideal for performance enthusiasts.
Bike Model: Ensure the exhaust system is compatible with your motorcycle. Zard provides model-specific options to ensure a perfect fit.
Material: Depending on your budget and preferences, choose between stainless steel, titanium, or carbon fiber.
Budget: Zard exhausts range in price, with slip-ons being more affordable than full systems. Factor in the cost of installation if you’re not doing it yourself.
7. Installation and Maintenance of Zard Exhaust
A. Installation
Installing a Zard Exhaust is relatively straightforward for those with basic mechanical knowledge. Slip-on systems are especially simple to install, often requiring just a few tools. Full systems might require more effort, including adjustments to the fuel mapping or ECU tuning to optimize performance.
B. Maintenance
Zard exhausts are built to last, but regular maintenance ensures optimal performance:
Clean the exhaust regularly to prevent dirt and grime buildup.
Check for signs of wear, such as cracks or loose fittings.
Follow Zard’s recommended maintenance schedule for specific materials like carbon fiber.
8. Real-World Reviews of Zard Exhaust Systems
Many riders have shared their experiences with Zard Exhaust systems, highlighting the brand’s strengths:
Performance: Riders often praise the noticeable gains in horsepower and throttle response.
Sound: The exhaust note is consistently described as “exhilarating” and “addictive.
Build Quality: Customers appreciate the solid construction and premium materials.
Style: Zard’s distinctive design has earned it a reputation as a fashion statement for motorcycles.
9. Conclusion: Is a Zard Exhaust Worth It?
Zard Exhaust systems offer an exceptional blend of performance, style, and durability, making them a worthwhile investment for motorcycle enthusiasts. Whether you’re looking to improve your bike’s performance, achieve a more aggressive sound, or enhance its aesthetics, Zard has an option to suit your needs.
While the initial cost may be higher than some aftermarket exhausts, the premium craftsmanship and performance gains make Zard a top-tier choice. If you’re ready to take your motorcycle to the next level, a Zard Exhaust could be the upgrade you’ve been looking for.
With their Italian heritage and relentless focus on quality, Zard Exhaust systems are a testament to the art of motorcycle engineering. Whether you ride a sporty Ducati, a classic Triumph, or a rugged KTM, Zard has the perfect exhaust to elevate your riding experience.

My #1 post of 2022
Something that fully healthy people don't really seem to understand about chronic health issues is what running on an energy deficit is like long-term.  It's more exhausting than you can possibly imagine if you haven't experienced it.
How does that work? Well, it's sort of like this. Everybody has a certain amount of energy.  When you're healthy and well-rested, you feel pretty good.  There are artificial boosters that give you more energy, too.  You can do all sorts of stuff.
When you get tired, you can still do some stuff but you can't do as much and what you can do might suffer from lack of energy. Except that's essentially your every day existence with chronic health issues.  You go to sleep tired, and wake up tired--sometimes more tired!
Your energy levels rarely reach "full"--that is, there's few points where you are in a "well rested" state where you feel pretty good and have "normal" levels of energy.  You're *always* operating in "low battery" mode rather than being fully charged, and you drain *fast*.
This makes doing basic tasks much harder than need be--things that drain a little energy you notice a hell of a lot more when you're already dead tired than when you're well-rested.  Like how when your phone drops from 10% to 9% you notice more than from 100% to 99%.
You can do some stuff--but you have an upper limit of what you can do that's a lot lower than other people. And functioning while running against a deficit at all times means a *lot* of careful, conservative planning to husband your strength for when you need it most.
It means sometimes spending 30 minutes deliberating what you should buy when you reach the store because you're trying to guess "will I have the energy to prepare this food after shopping?  Will I later this week?"  You hedge your bets when you can.
It means skipping out on a lot of stuff you'd otherwise love to do because you just can't be sure you'll have the energy to do it without landing yourself in bed for the next 3 days by pushing yourself to collapse. It's depressing. And it's exhausting.
EDIT: This post is for people with physical AND mental health causes for their fatigue and exhaustion, by the way! I know there are posts that really are meant only for one or the other and it's rude to hijack them, but if you find this resonates with you then you're welcome to it regardless of the cause!

Content Warnings: None Apply
Word Count: 855
Leaf and Katie make their way back home, but Leaf is hesitant to find out how Graham and Alda will react to their appearance.
Previous: Caught
Leaf leaned against the wall and sat down, weary from the sudden expending of energy and adrenaline. It took a lot to change one’s shape and they were well out of practice. They were exhausted. Katie squirmed a bit, adjusting her position in their arms so she could get a good look at them.
“How come you never told me you were a dragon?” she asked in an accusatory fashion. It seemed as though all the excitement from fifteen minutes earlier had all but evaporated.
They cocked their head to the side, confused as they’d never heard the word before.
“Drrrrrgn?” they repeated, growling more than speaking.
She placed her hands gently on their horns, feeling around them enthusiastically with her little fingers. “A big lizard!” she exclaimed. “But you’re too small I think. Are you a baby dragon?”
Leaf snorted incredulously at the idea of being a baby. They may have not had an inkling of how old they really were but they were certainly far from juvenile. At least physically. They’d found maturity wasn’t exclusive to the body, but the mind as well. Emotions were stupid and new and they hated feeling things. Yet they wouldn’t trade it away for anything. Their train of thought was broken as their adopted sister spoke again.
“Mom’s not gonna be happy at the hole you ripped in the pants she made you.”
A flush of guilt colored their cheeks as they avoided her pointed gaze. She was right. Though they imagined the tear was nothing compared to what would happen once Graham and Alda knew their secret. That sick feeling crept back into their stomach. They wrapped their tail around themself self consciously.
“Will she be mad?” Leaf whispered.
After a moment of thought she answered, “Yes,” matter-of-factly. She unwrapped her scarf from around her neck and handed it to them. “But you can use this to hide it until you’re ready to tell her.”
They nodded in appreciation and stood, wrapping the scarf around their waist. Though it did little to hide both tear and tail, it was the thought that counted. Katie took their hand and started leading them back home.
“You look tired so I’m gonna walk now.”
Tired was an understatement.
•••
Leaf waited outside as Katie ran back into their home, greeted by worried, weary parents.
“Where’s Leaf,” Graham asked.
Silence lingered for a moment before Katie piped up. “Promise you won’t be mad?”
“Katie,” Graham said sternly, “where’s Leaf?”
“Leaf is a lizard now,” she announced.
Graham knew his daughter at times took to flights of fancy but this was a little far considering the circumstances.
“Sweetheart, how can Leaf be a lizard? Leaf is a borrower just like us.” He knelt down and put a gentle hand on her shoulder. “Now tell me, where are they?”
She balled up her fists and put on her most serious face. “They’re outside but you have to promise not to be mad about the lizard thing.”
He chuckled, stood up, and walked to the door. “I won’t be mad.”
However, while mad wasn’t the first emotion that came to Graham when he opened the door, it certainly wasn’t the farthest one he felt. Alda had followed close behind and she held a hand to her mouth, shocked at the sight before herself and her husband. Leaf stood a foot away from the door, doing everything within their power to make themself appear smaller. They refused to make eye contact.
Katie wiggled her way past her parents. “See? I told you!” She held out her hands in Leaf’s direction. “Li-zard!” she said, emphasizing both syllables with pointed gestures.
The steadfast quietness of the air clung to Leaf in a chilling manner, threatening to shatter them like ice. They berated themself for not having better control over their body. For not trying to practice their shifting in secret. For being unable to go back to “normal.” For–
They stiffened when Katie ran up to take their hand and pulled them into the light of the doorway. It would do little to resist despite how much they wished to just run away from this tight feeling that formed in their chest. They shrank back as Graham stepped forward, ever aware of how big they were and desperately wishing six inches wasn’t their minimum height. He looked them up and down then leaned to the side a bit to try and catch their eye. They spared him a brief glance before returning their focus to the ground.
“We’ve all been through a lot today. Let’s talk about it in the morning,” he said. With the tenderness of a father he placed his hand on their back and led them inside.
Alda wrapped her arms around their elbow, giving a small reassuring squeeze.
“You may be different but you’re still family,” she said softly.
Something broke inside Leaf. Something old and vulnerable, calcified through time and war. Something they didn’t know they had. It cut so deeply into them they found it hard to stand.
For the first time in their very long life, Leaf cried.

i feel like you're becoming the go-to "i don't known enough about this social issue help" person and i know that's exhausting, so i'm sorry for asking you this, i just remember you making a post about it awhile ago and i thought you might be able to help! i'm trying to explain to someone why calling rich people l*zard people is antisemitic, but i'm having a hard time formulating a response that isn't just that both are antisemitic stereotypes :( any ideas how to connect the two better?
hey, it’s all good. i’m glad to help out when i’m not feeling too exhausted lol
i think the link you’re missing is mentioning the elders of zion - that’s the supposed group of rich jewish people who are meant to be ruling the world secretly while also being lizard aliens lmao
