Hey, everyone? Z crystals are, of course, not for eating at any time. But I’m from Alola and trained the majority of my Pokémon there and I think you need to know that Z crystals are akin to sacred to many people there. New trainers earn respect by collecting Z crystals during their island trials to signify dedication to their goals, growth, and their bonds with their Pokémon. Z crystals are treasured by the trainers that earn them.

Even if it’s a joke, seeing trainers talk about eating the Z crystals that mean so much to the place I come from feels…weird. The crystals I have for my Pokémon never leave my person. Arceus, earning them was the first major rite of passage for everyone in my Alolan family.

I’m not sure if the people saying these things are from Alola or some other place where Z crystals are prevalent. All I ask is that you please be sensitive to the importance of the objects you’re making fun of.

Some of you already know that the last few years have been pretty rough for me, health-wise. It's been a while since I was able to offer commissions. Things are getting better, though.
