#SecretJourney #thepolice 🎧 Since @scottsbasslessons did a video on @theofficialsting I thought I'd crack open the book. The book and Police Conplete box set started me playing that first Series A Purple bass I only wish I had kept. My first amp was a tiny Coron which blew in my first week. I still play too hard I guess... Anyways, First bassline I ever played in its entirety was the groove in "Too Much Information" but I always liked this track as it seemed to speak of Sting's later direction with the Soul Cages. He mentioned growing up on Elvis and other traditional songwriters and then he mentioned someone I hadn't heard of before, even though I had heard his music #KurtWeill I've done a couple other Weill pieces on here, but this one's great which I've usually done on guitar.
